Today was my second time eating at this restaurant. I ordered a mixed drink, but it had cherry flavor in it even though cherry wasn't listed in the ingredients. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to cherries. I told my server, but she asked the manager to come over instead. The manager was very professional, kind, and handled the situation much better. He immediately replaced my drink at no charge. That's what I call great customer service! The cocktails are amazing and very affordable--only $8 each. The food was a little salty, though. To be honest, I haven't found many restaurants in Key West that I would call truly delicious. If you've had the same experience as me, I'd recommend trying Outback Steakhouse. This review is for our 7/15/26 visit. It did not go well & we will not be back. It look at least 10 minutes for a server to greet us. I don't know for sure who our server was, but Savannah's name was on the bill. We kind of had 2 people taking care of us because, from what we could gather, one was training the other. Cheesy fries were great. Then my daughter ordered French onion soup & I ordered a side salad and French onion soup no cheese. The salad was fine. Neither soup had much onion. Mine came with a blob of cheese in my soup and no 'husk'. The server came to our table once to check on us. I asked for a refill lemonade and that took a really long time. At the end, I set my AARP card on the table fur the discount. A manager walked by and took care of that. We never saw a bill or the server again. Thank goodness that the bill is on the table game thing, so I just paid so we could go. Please skip this Outback location. read more

This is a take out review. Person who took the order was very nice. All food delivered directly to the car. Nothing missing. In sears town shopping center. Plenty of parking. Easy pick up. All the food was good. Nothing to complain about other than fries a little soggy but understandable when getting Togo. Will be back. Excellent service as always. I live here and am retired from a sailing charter boat service. Being that this is a chain visitors expect a certain level of service. They deliver that and more. Today I was celebrating my birthday. I have brought my grand daughter there after graduation. The sirloin kabobs were tangy seasoned and cooked to perfection sirloin with mushrooms and bell peppers a side of yummy rice with a baked potato all the way. The Entree came out quickly and was hot. Complimentary dessert for birthday. The staff sang happy birthday. Excellent for seniors like me between 3-5pm stay for happy hour if you wish. Thanks to Paul for understanding I was alone for a meal this year who helped me select a new low cost meal that was high in quality. Food was a 4 /5. Service was 2/5. No service with no smile at this restaurant .the ambiance was a typical Outback Steakhouse. Servers need some customer service training , lady was not happy and I am not sure if she was having a bad day but we stopped here for my birthday . It was not a very good experience and I have been visiting Outback and there other restaurants since there start in Tampa Florida . I have waited tables and bartended in my lifetime you never ask to go to different table to take their order when we were already there waiting. Super crazy. You get the drink order and apps then when you bring those out take the order. It wasn't busy so I am not sure if she was outback smoking out then trying to wait tables , so they need some real training and learn to focus when waiting tables . I know servers and bartenders work for tips so smile and keep a happy face greet your table and wait on them . Never ask to go visit another table when are there to take my order I still gave a nice tip but I could have not tipped . It was a rainy night in Key West and the Outback was conveniently located near my hotel. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly. They don't have a large selection of draft beers and no locals beers, but what they do have is served ice cold. The servers were getting the food orders mixed up, but once I got the right order, it was quite good. I had the filet topped with Toowooba shrimp. The light haired manager looking white man was extremely rude. His demeanor is that of a pouty child. We had six people and asked for a table and the restaurant was almost empty but asking that, youd think we asked for the cure to cancer. We walk into this outback, and there are 2 waitresses sitting by the hostess table. We eventually get seated, and order our 2 steaks (medium rare) and they came out rare, or even raw. The manager was the person to take our steaks, as our waitress ran around passing by us every time. The manager comes back, and still no steaks. He comes with our steaks, and now they are well done. The manager then gives us the meal for free, as well as giving us a free dessert and blooming onion. The place was very empty, and we had waited an hour for over-cooked steaks. The food and service were exceptional which is why we went twice while in Key West. The ambience could have been a much better experience if the maintenance were kept up. Specifically the furr downs were missing side panels exposing things diners don't want or need to see. I had the ribs with a salad and baked potato the first time around and cleaned my plate. The second time we ordered coconut shrimp for an appetizer and were delighted with them. My husband got a blue cheese pecan chopped side salad and I got the Alice Springs Chicken with salad and baked potato. We share plates mostly and this dinner was absolutely delicious. Parking, dining area were all great. Nice ambiance. Our steak and prime rib were delicious. Service was excellent. This could have been a 5-star rating, however when our bill came, the prices were no surprise. I went along with the recommended tips on the bill which was printed on the bottom. But when I computed the amount against my Tip Calculator app, the computed recommended tips on the bill were lower than it should be. This is problematic for the wait staff since it undercut what their correct tip should be. For a bill of $80, the difference was over a dollar! I don't know how long had the bills computed the wrong recommended tips but it will add up. A quick fix would be to correct the tip computation on the printed receipt. It will at least give a higher tip (assuming the customer follows the recommended amount). read more

At this location today I've ordered the French onion soup and the ribeye with asparagus and baked potato. Everything I have today was mediocre at the very best and stunning salty at it worst. For me I have rarely comment on a persons cooking but eating this meal makes it feels like it have taken quite a couple of year in my life just from the abundance of sodium in my meal . Next for the server she was alright and the service was average, which give something at least a bit positive from all the horrible stuff at this location. Had a wonderful and delicious meal at Outback today!! We got the lobster tail...yes trying to eat healthy and my son got the bbq ribs!! He loved it....I had cheated and had 1 pice....and it was very hard to stop at just one!!!!! The manage Rafle is a super cool dude!! My steak was yummy, felt a little bit less than 6 ounces, my chicken was very dry and hard to cut but it will make a wonderful little salad for lunch tomorrow. Our waitress was wonderful (!) and brought water to my service dog. I did tell them that I have celiac disease and I'm allergic to seafood and shellfish, and my salad, l did have croutons on it. I've eaten at alott of outback restaurants but this one is the worst. The vist 1/6/2024 was not the best. The steak. An expensive rib eye $30 was to be marbled with some fat but not a slug sized of a semi truck ball bearing in the middle. It was so bad that I paid for half the steaks worth of fat. It like the cook didn't even look. The server was great. She stopped by to check several times to see how we were. I'm from Key West we like our ice tea sweet. This had no sweetness. Kind of like my ex-wife. Unsweetened and tasteless. The restaurant was typical Outback. I could have been in Pennsylvania for all I could tell. Had lunch here and it was very good! The French pinion soup is off the chain!!! I love me some French pinion soup! Also enjoyed the meatloaf, both me and my wife shared the meal which had a lot of food. The server was very polite and so on top of her game. To start off Kyra was incredibly rude on the phone who is a MANAGER so clearly they are understaffed. Anytime I've been in person. It's been slow service and they've gotten things wrong. 40% of the time. I hope to entertain guests here when they're in town because it's familiar however, it's far from the normal Outback experience the proprietor sok NEEDS to higher all new managers, because every single one has been rude and condescending. The only good thing here is the chicken tenders stay away endorse real local cuisine. My experience here last week was so bad that I marinated on it and decided I had to write this review. The only decent manager was someone named I believe Randy who is kind, lighthearted and funny, but they seem to have fired him and replacing him with someone far less qualified clearly. I will try this place again in a month time and let you know how it goes. In the meantime, I hope to receive an apology from Salk himself on this thread not just Outback corporate team. read more

At first the place seemed the right choice to celebrate an early birthday dinner for my son. The server and the people working there made the place less desirable to visit here again. The food order for my son was incorrect and when it came time for his birthday cake ( not even a candle or a happy birthday song). It's New Years Eve, and every sit down restaurant is either closed, reservation only, or set menu. We couldn't find anywhere to accommodate us until we found Outback. They took us in and sat us at their finest booth. The service was great, our server Nick took care of us like no other! It was driving us clinically insane the way he was taking care of half the restaurant while also constantly making sure our drinks were full and our food was fit to our standards. And he's not bad to look at too!! The food was amazing. I ordered a NY Strip Steak medium and it was cooked to perfection. The Mac and Cheese side I ordered was to die for!! Don't even get me started on the Baked Potato Soup, it's the best soup I've ever had!!! (Sorry Memaw and RIP) The kitchen made a mistake and it worked out perfectly for us as we ended up with an extra cheesecake for no extra charge! Overall this was the best stop we've made in the Keys and I'm looking forward to our next visit! I highly recommend this location for a lovely dinner with great service. read more
