Late lunch 5 or 6 two party tables 1 at the bar and then my colleague and I at about 3:30pm. So pretty slow, no report about ambiance as it is a chain with standard corporate decor. Service was the issue, as it appears to be the issue everywhere else. Bartender is waiting tables and two severs are doing the "I want to look busy" dance. Now the bartender was very stretched thin but was supported by food runners who delivered the orders. But have ask for setups and bread and the basic flow of food from the kitchen had no rhyme or reason irregardless of when the order was taken and placed. Servers serve the bartender was accommodating to our requests. Steaks were well seasoned and cooked to perfection as all the food prep was on point. The others when asked for something, they would just disappear over to the area where there were no patrons. Tighten up read more

So, with my wife being out of town trying to figure out what to have for dinner one night. I was craving a salad with some steak on top so I figured I would give Outback a chance. After looking over the menu, they do offer a steakhouse salad for $19.99 however, the steak is a center-cut sirloin which would not be my first choice. I would prefer a ribeye, but you can't just swap out the steak type. The waitress, Christine, suggested I order a steak of my choice, and then make a larger salad both of my sides. So, my salad was bigger than the normal side and yet didn't cost extra because it came with the steak as two of my sides. I felt it was a clever solution to my dilemma. I got a good size salad with a steak that I wanted which ended up being a Delmonico ribeye, which is a new item on their menu according to what it says. The ambience most people were seated at or around the bar area and when I arrived, it took a couple minutes before someone saw me up at the greeting podium. I asked her to seat me away from the bar area and she ended up seating me right on the other side of the partition of the bar area right in front of the kitchen. Which is better than being seated in front of the bathroom. but there is a lot of foot traffic with the weight staff going in and out of the kitchen and having to loudly good grief, yell the word "corner!" when going in and out to warn others to avoid a collision. I would've preferred to be seated further away to a more isolated spot. They were certain plenty of tables to choose from, showing that they were really, not all that busy on a Thursday night. My steak was cooked as ordered, which was medium rare and the flavor was pretty good and relatively tender. I do like their blue cheese vinaigrette dressing on the salad, I even asked Christina if I could get a side of croutons so I could add them and she obliged. I feel like many many years ago the croutons used to be different and were really just cut up pieces of their house bread and they changed them at some point. overall, it's a decent experience. after my tip, my order was $49 even. The Delmonico alone was $33. I could've easily spent that much on lower quality fast food which these days is no longer a cheap option. they're a little kiosk at the table advertised a deal where you can get one adult entrée dine-in and then pay 10 more dollars for another whole order to take home. I didn't see any fine print on the ad about any restrictions of what to order which would be shocking because you could order something very expensive on the menu for $10 imagine getting another whole steak and lobster tail add-on for just $10. I may have to look more into this deal. read more

Yesterday we went out for my mom birthday. the service start off okay. I didn't get her name but she didn't really take care of us like the other customers she were attending to. Had to ask for items multiple times. However, the food was good I had the blooming chicken and loaded baked potatoe (I should've took a picture before) the potatoes were amazing baked to perfection. The chicken gives off a lemon flavor but I didn't like the sauce that comes with it. The chicken is extremely juicy and if you love extra chicken skin get this meal. read more

How does a steakhouse run out of Worcestershire sauce ??? Two stars for missing condiments. Perhaps I'm too critical, but I consider,Worcestershire sauce a basic requirement for a steakhouse. Absent the missing condiment. My experience was five Stars. I've considered carrying I own bottle of Worcestershire sauce, but I think I'll just stick with properly stocked steakhouses, like Texas Roadhouse and longhorn steakhouse read more

We ordered the Victoria filet and the 13oz ribeye MW with mixed veggies and loaded baked potato for both. This order was TO-GO. When we arrived home we had well well done cuts of meat with broccoli and a plain potato on both orders. This is ridiculous considering we always have great service. Maybe this was a one off read more

Great food, second mile service, and just an overall amazing experience! The host saw us outside and held the door for us. We had an appetizer and a steak, both were delicious and appeared fast. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was chill. When we left, the host even held the door for us again. 10/10! Would recommend! read more

I'm sitting here this morning with my coffee and breakfast, reflecting on my birthday dinner, which was an absolute train wreck. I received an Outback Steakhouse gift card from my employer for my birthday. It is Friday night; my wife and I rarely go out to dinner due to the economic downturn many of us face. We shake off the working day blahs and head out for a celebratory dinner. I should have checked the reviews before choosing this location, but I wasn't convinced it was necessary. This place has been here alongside Carraba's for years. We arrived and proceeded through the doors, and my situational awareness immediately noticed the restaurant was not busy for a Friday night. The bar area had the most attendees, and maybe six tables in the dining area were in use. I peeked out at the outdoor dining area and saw just one couple present. We were seated and presented with our menus. Our server arrived to take our appetizer and drink orders and then fiddled with this large-faced electronic menu, which was a massive distraction as it glared brightly in my direction while I was trying to hold conversations with my wife. I finally grabbed it and laid it face-down on the shelf beside me. We bypassed the appetizers as nothing appealed to us and placed our orders; the server brought out a small loaf of bread and what was equivalent to a tablespoon of butter for the entire loaf of bread. I dispensed it to the end and waited for the server to return and request a butter replenishment. As mentioned earlier, the restaurant wasn't busy, and we could observe all the servers just congregating in the kitchen doorways. By this time, 40 minutes had elapsed, and we hadn't yet received our first course of salads and soups. It would not have been easy to make room for our meals and sides with the small table if everything had come out at once. We tried to get our server's attention to no avail; she was in deep conversation with her colleagues. When the server finally came to the table, we asked for a manager and expressed our concerns. When the manager arrived, we expressed our concerns, she looked into our concerns. Our soups and salads arrived after the extensive wait, and as dreadful expected, our meals with sides arrived, crowding the table. We maneuvered to the best possible solution and tried to enjoy our meal. The first issue we found was the potato soup; you can look at it and see it was grayish and watery; one spoonful was enough. It wasn't enjoyable. If your clientele can see a problem, a trained chef/cook should be able to identify the issue before serving it. Let me just make this one Point of view: This is Outback Steakhouse, with an emphasis on Steak being your featured dish. The sirloin that was cooked Medium Rare has to have been the worst cut of meat I have ever attempted to eat, where is Gordon Ramsay when you need him. It was tough and chewy and unpleasant. The manager stopped by and asked how it was going, and I was at a loss for words. She said that she saw my body language and expressions. At that point, I voiced my opinion and surrendered my meal as it was not up to my expectation. She asked if I would like something else, and by this time, I had already had enough of the tomfoolery, so I politely declined. She insisted, and I said I had lost my appetite with all that had occurred; while awkward, my wife continued with her meal as we tried to salvage the night. The manager returned to the table, again expressing her apologies, and then stated that the meals were comped and handed us a gift card for our troubles. I truthfully will not return to this location. We gathered our items and proceeded to depart when my wife said," It was an odd situation leaving without even tipping the server." My reply was that we can't give out participation trophies; tips are only for exemplary service. The red flags we're all over this experience, and we hoped for course correction once we expressed ourselves. Happy Birthday to me. read more

Love the take away area. The gentleman that helped me was so nice. Thank you for the great experience!

First of all, the steak and our server, Christina, was great. She's very professional! My daughter and I both ordered drinks and they were good as well. I would have given five stars, but whenever we came in, the restaurant was very slow. We sat and waited for the hostess to greet us. She was not at the stand (or podium) We don't mind sitting and waiting if they are very busy, but like I said, there wasn't hardly anyone in there. When she finally came upfront, she was VERY cold and dismissive, and acted like we were bothering her. It kind of put a damper on what could have been a very fun night. We all noticed her demeanor and did not appreciate it. Outback is a wonderful restaurant and usually our go-to whenever we want to celebrate and get really good food. Trying to keep it an upbeat attitude, we decided to not "speak to the manager "and let it go at that time, but I thought that I would leave a review to let management know about her poor attitude... because we couldn't help but wonder why a fabulous restaurant (Outback) would have someone like that employed with them. You have a chef and wait staff who are exceptional... But you may want to check on who greets folks whenever they come in. read more

Service sucked never checked on us had to get with management for check and people behind us got our food and then had to bring to us Even those people was still waiting on their food when o got mad at management but they cut my bill in half lucky me. Great ribeye! Perfectly done and my salad was actually fresh this time. I get so irritated when I get home ready for my Ceasar salad and its disgusting, so I force myself to have the house salad which is ridiculously good, freaking awesome ranch dressing. Stay on my good side Outback. read more

Talk about a bad experience. 3 of 4 steaks were sent back for being over cooked one was a blue rare porterhouse steak, we received a medium t-bone steak. Either outback is ordering t-bone and serving them as porterhouses, or their supplier is providing the t-bone and telling them they are porterhouses. Either way a chef should know the difference in cuts. Don't serve me shit and tell me it's a rose. Even winn Dixie sells better porterhouses than that. You don't go to a restrauntbl to spend money on low grade meats with bad preparation. I'll stick to longhorn from now on. At least they know what a porterhouse is supposed to look like. Not to mention they serve hot potatoes, not hot plates with cold potatoes. Outback, more like Outhouse. read more

We ordered food to pickup. I got the trio appetizer (Bloomin' Onion, Boomerang Mozzarella, and Aussie Fries). Bloomin' Onion was either over-fried or refried. It was terrible. The Boomerang Mozzarella was subpar at best. The Aussie Fries had no bacon... just cheese. Also, terrible. My wife got the Alice Springs Chicken. It was supposed to have everything on it. There were no mushrooms. The chicken was overcooked and dry. We went to Outback nearly a year ago and had a horrendous experience. Decided to give them another chance. Sad to say they've made zero improvements in that time. I don't know how this location has stayed open. read more

This location is absolutely horrible! Waited an hour for our food. We sat and watched people that ordered after us get their food, never received a refill on our drinks, the manager was being chewed out by another table because of the lack of service and the speed of the food! This place is a nope!! 66 dollars for crappie cold food! Never again will we go here! And I will make sure to let people know! Something needs to be done about this location! read more

What I liked most about my most recent experience here was the attentiveness of my waitress Kayla. She was extremely efficient with making sure the tables needs were taken care of. I ordered the filet mignon with the lobster tail. Delicious!! What I liked least about this particular visit was the inconsistency of the drinks that I ordered. I ordered the same drink twice but it tasted completely different the second time around making it a wasted purchase even after an attempt to fix it was made. Overall the food was tasty, the restaurant was clean and the staff was warm and inviting. I will definitely be returning. read more

Food was good had a long wait for our food but the place was full so that's why I took so long.

I would give this Outback zero stars if I could. Table and seats were dirty and had to move chairs out of my way to even sit down. We ordered everything right away. Drinks, appetizer and food order at the same time. Bread and drinks were brought out but no plates. The butter looked like it was whipped and had no flavor. Next our appetizer (cheese fries) once again no plates. Had to eat directly off of the main dish and share the same ranch. Our meals took forever to come, nearly 45 minutes after ordering. After setting down the plates the server tells us they are out of mashed potatoes. My husband then gets a loaded baked potato. I ordered mashed potatoes as well but she didn't bother to ask what I wanted as a replacement before walking away. Husbands shrimp was cold, and my Alice springs chicken was still pink inside. When she returned with the loaded baked potato it only had sour cream and cheese. Zero butter zero bacon. Was so frustrated with the whole night that we checked out on the kiosk that was on the table and left. Paid our whole bill plus tip but we will never go back to this location. Have been to all the other ones in Jax and never had bad service like this. read more

Took so long to get our food, sirloin was bland and had zero flavor- tasted like ground beef but no seasoning. I had a SIMPLE pick up order of wings, they advertise a pound but every place I go to it comes with 10. I get my order and it's only 7, no side of celery, and no dipping sauce. This totally defeats the purpose of placing an order to go ahead of time, I might as well have sat down and placed the order myself. read more

I haven't been to outback in years! And now I understand why. First, service was fine. Or waiter approached us fairly quickly and told us about what they had. We looked over the menu and I ordered a port house with asparagus and a sweet potato and she order sirloin and shrimp with broccoli and mashed potatoes. They came out and said that they were out of mashed potatoes. Which okay, can't be mad because it was 9:30 when we got there and almost 10 when we ordered. So she changed to a baked potato instead. About 20 min later, they came back and said they were out of asparagus. So I ordered a soup instead. The soup was great, enjoyable and cheesy. I was hyped for the rest only to be sorely disappointed. The steak was overly salted to the point that as I'm writing this an hour+ later I can still taste salt after just a small bite of it. The sweet potato was the exact opposite, a pound of sugar poured right on it. Terrible all around. The only saving grace is the service. Server was great and so was the manager. Just unfortunate that the food was so terrible. read more

We ordered the Bloomin' Onion for an appetizer. It was very greasy and salty. I ordered the sirloin with coconut shrimp, baked potato, and a salad. The salad was good, the baked potato had tasteless fake bacon bits on it with dried out green onion. The steak was salty and tasteless. The coconut shrimp was good. Joined the waiting list online to be there by 7. There was still a small wait but I was able to let my service animal walk around while waiting. Our server was great. Brought the bread and salad before the drinks though. Had to wait a bit to get entrees but everything else was great. They had a surf n tail combo I did. I ordered the 8 oz center cut sirloin, made rare, and a lobster tail. I ordered mashed potatoes and a salad for my sides. I had water and strawberry lemonade to drink. My daughter had chicken tenders and fruit with sprite. My friend ordered the Victoria filet with loaded mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. He also had a Boozy cherry Limeade drink, which I tried, and you couldn't even taste the alcohol. The restrooms were clean when I used them with my daughter. Everything else was super great. Everyone was good with my service dog and didn't give any issues towards her either. Would definitely dine here again. read more

This was my first time visiting this location and the service was underwhelming at best. Food: I would give 4 stars. For chain food, the bread was delicious (although taking 35 minutes to get to the table) which is really sad. The salads were also really great and fresh, but got to our table also after our entrees. Also sad. Blooming onion quick and yummy. No complaints there. Friend ordered ribeye and loaded baked potato. Cooked perfectly so that's why they even get three stars. $10 for a lunch portion of half of a prime rib sandwich is really pricy. I didn't know I was only getting half. It's not in the description. Tasty but not a pretty presentation. Service: 2 stars. Sever seemed pissed to be there. 15 minutes would go by multiple times without drink refills. No effort in making any connection. Like I mentioned before, food slow coming to table. No manager seemed to care. Very expensive to not give a crap about customers. 3 stars is very generous. Luckily I was catching up with an old friend and we still had a great time. If it was anyone else this would be a one star review. Skip this place and head to Carrabas next door. read more

My go to place for Outback. I've been here a dozen times, and usually has plenty of parking spots available. My first impression is no different than any other Outback. So my date and I decided to come to outback since I had the gift card from the Yelp event last year that was about to expire... LOL. This outback was a drive for us but it was the closest. We decided to sit at the bar. As of this review they did remove some chairs at the bar and only seat every other table due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. Service was ok, friendly enough but nothing spectacular. We ordered the bloomin onions to share and I got the Aussie ribs (new item) as my meal and he ordered a steak meal (forgot which cut lol). The bloomin onions were ok, a little to salty, and certain parts were overbreaded. The ribs though were delicious; good flavor, tender and falling off the bone. I was being lady like and only ate two of the four ribs lol, the last two I brought home. Date seemed to enjoy his meal and devoured it all. But overall, it's another chain restaurant and nothing too spectacular. I'd probably just come back for the ribs, and maybe the bloomin onions if they are not salty. Oh yea, for those of you who've been following my sad single life (LOL)... after this date, we have made our relationship official. :) read more
