We decided to check out this restaurant as we had not tried an Outback in many years. There was plenty of available parking in their lot and we got a friendly greeting and seated right away. Our server was prompt and helpful in choosing menu items. I tried a tasty margarita and did a pick three menu item. I had a small sirloin cooked just as I ordered, a large side salad and seasoned fries. Everything was tasty and ample including the loaf of brown bread that was served to our table. Went back to outback this time, to see if they got any better. Well. Let me tell you we waited over 20 minutes for our server to return we didn't catch her name but she had bright blonde hair, We got 1 of 2 drinks, which was weird. And just the bread, not asked for any appetizers or anything else. I didn't even get my drink that was nothing fancy and not from the bar. The other server that was at a table beside us she was amazing and very kind! We asked her to get us the tab for the drink she denied the tab and apologized on behalf of the actions of the other server, which was not her job to do but we appreciated her for that greatly! read more

It's been a few years since I've been to an Outback, but my brother had a gift card, so we decided to stop in. It wasn't super busy on a Sunday around 11. Our server Christian was a champ and so nice. He had several large tables all at once but still checked in on us throughout, made recommendations, and refilled drinks. The food was pretty good and most of it fairly affordable. I did notice they had more variety of cocktails, mocktails, and beer and wine than you usually see at chain restaurants. I had the limited time Chopped Steak with a sweet potato and seasonal veggies. I appreciated the seasonal veggie option to switch things up, this time it was yellow squash, zucchini, and carrots. The sweet potato was delicious with honey, cinnamon, and butter. The chopped steak was good, but the sauce was pretty rich with red wine demo glacé, mushrooms, and onions. The desserts looked AMAZING but we were entirely too full by the time we made it to dessert. read more

My partner and i went to Outback Steakhouse for date night and we were not disappointed! We tried the new Boomerang Mozzarella Sticks and they were delicious. We had early supper here at 4pm 09/04/2024 It was fairly empty and our server couldn't have been nicer. We both had the NEW! AUSSIE 3-COURSE MEAL, with wedge salads. My criticism is of the food. We were both very surprised by the amount of Salt on our baked potatoes and the very peppery seasoning on our steaks. Also, I asked for my steak to be cooked to medium but instead it was medium rare. It wasn't a warm pink but a warm very red. I'll include a picture. Both our steaks were very peppery and both bloody deep red. I wonder next time if we decide to return if they would cut way back on salt & pepper seasoning and cook it to the medium we both expect. Our server kept disappearing and our food took closer to an hour to get there, mind you they were not busy. I ordered the 3 course meal with the sirloin, baked potato and baked potato soup. My sirloin and soup were too salty to eat. I scraped the seasoning off the steak and ate half of it. I gave my husband the other half plus the soup. The baked potato was good but didn't have any butter, just sour cream, bacon and cheese. At least it wasn't salty. My husband got chili and a salad. They didn't have any tomatoes for the salad. It was hard to get a drink refill. The server didn't check back and then when asked, forgot the refill. I have had better meals here. We have always loved Outback and were delighted when we received 2 gift cards as a gift. First, we were seated a a dirty table. The hostess actually pulled things off the table as we sat down. Second, our salads came out about 30 seconds before our steaks. We did not have flatware when our steaks arrived. Also, my husband and I ordered 8oz steaks. His was noticeably larger than mine. They were the same thickness, but his was a good inch longer. We asked if I had received an 8 oz, showing the size difference. Our server pulled a manager over, who dismissed the concern and just said that it was an 8 oz. I have had both the 6 oz and 8 oz in the past and it was definitely a 6 oz. We eat here several times a month. Last night did not go well. We sat in bar area. The waitress was nice but already mentioned she was stressed. Took awhile to get drinks but did get appetizer shortly after. Then went downhill quick. Took 50 mins to get our salads. Then food came out. My wife's steak was pink (asked well done) so sent back, forgot my shrimp add on with my meal so waited awhile to get that and steak sauce. Finally brought out wife's steak which was cook through this time. Though we weren't happy with service, I didn't take it out on waitress with low tip because she remained cheerful and pleasant despite obviously being short staffed and stressed. To start with the hostess no personality. Got the blooming burger horrible Buffalo Wild Wings has a better burger. It looked like a frozen bubba burger. No flavor, and the onion blossoms that were on it were old/oily tasting. A burger at a steakhouse you'd think would be great I know they are at Texas Roadhouse, longhorns ,and some other places up there, I feel the quality of Outback is gone . Now on the other hand our server was a okay (forgetful) but a nice guy congenial but never got my second tea. The drink my wife order was not what she ordered, the lady delivery the food asked how everything was told her about the drink she said I'll let the bartender know, bartender came over talked left and came back with her drink .she said it was ordered with the rum she said to the server. Outback or Outcast? We visited this restaurant for the first time in a very long time due to having a gift card. We arrived early and had already called in prior to arriving to get on the waitlist. We were told 25 minutes which turned into an hour and could of been longer had we not asked the host if they could seat us yet. Now to the host and hostess and staff. I'm not sure if we were at a high school and we were being duped but everyone was wearing pajama pants and stained/grungy shirts or oversized hoodies. These were the workers who seat you and serve you your food.... I saw one male server wearing a large bathrobe and pajama pants underneath. Their hair was messy and looked unwashed and made me wonder what the cooks hidden in the back's hygiene looked like. The food- my wife got a salad and steak and sadly she had to wait ten minutes for silverware to eat her salad. I got a water which tasted like tap water, not purified by any means. I got a 6oz filet, seasoned rice and a sweet potato. The steak as you see in the picture was more of two fatty meatballs connected... very strange. The seasoned rice was somehow very dry and overly salted. The sweet potato was the best part as the brown sugar can make about anything taste good. Overall sadly this is the new norm for restaurants and I for one will no longer fill their pockets. Do yourself a favor and go buy some steaks and sides of your choice. Not only will you save money but you'll save time and the food will taste so much better. Pretty wild that a so called steak house was so lack luster and dumbed down compared to even a place like McDonald's that has all their employees wear matching uniforms. If they were doing a pajama day the real question should be why in the hell would you? It had been quite a while since we had visited this restaurant so as we were driving by we decided to stop to have dinner. Inside the building is a bit tired looking, and quite frankly dirty. In my opinion it needs to be thoroughly cleaned, but really a renovation would be better. My partner had one of the specials which was a 6oz steak with a side of lobster mac n cheese. He found it adequate but probably wouldn't order again. I had the burger which was loaded with salt and pepper, as were the fries. The burger didn't appear to be fresh, but frozen and cooked to thaw. I ordered it medium well, but was medium at best. Our server was such a sweet person, and very attentive. So we're the servers that brought the salad and then our meals. For the cost it was mediocre, but then I have found most chain restaurants mediocre these days. It will be a while before we return. read more

Steak was cooked to order and had great seasoning. Sides were tasty and perfec pairing. My BF had 6oz filet and lobster tail. (With all the sides, he picks fries with cheese LOL). My mom had a seafood sampler of sorts that came with lobster, shrimp, and one other item. I can't think of it, but whatever it was supposed to be was out. The waitress gave her the option of substituting it for more shrimp or an additional lobster, so she picked the lobster tail. My dad had a bowl of French onion soup and a steak as well (those not pictured). Few of us had some salsa and we all had a round of cocktails. All the drinks were delicious. Andrew (who is an exemplary employee) helped me, and I can say with complete confidence that he is the best hospitality worker I've encountered in the 3 years since I moved here. He was friendly and accommodating, offering suggestions to improve the quality of our meal, all the while having a genuine conversation with me. As a former bartender, I sincerely appreciate his "above and beyond" approach to hospitality. I am certain that Andrew is a rare find. We were in Indianapolis for a seminar and after came to the Outback for a nice dinner. This steakhouse is very popular and we did a online check in to eliminate the waiting time on a Saturday night. We still had a bit of a wait but it was worth it. We had the pecan encrusted blue cheese salad my husband and myself and the baked potato. My son had the regular house salad and chicken tenders and fries. We had the rib-eye and it was really juicy tender and delicious!
