So we made a 4pm reservation at Joey Chops. It had always been on a list of things to visit when we are in the area. Parking is a large lot shared with various businesses. We did not have a problem locating a parking spot. Once we were parked we walked in and were seated immediately. The interior is dark in what I call a main dining area which was to the left. But to the right is the bar area and the outdoor seating. That area was bright. Could be because the door was open to the outside dining patio. The dishes were cute. The seating was comfortable. The whole aesthetic was met in many ways, even to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were large, comfortable and they offered extras like lotions and mints. Our waiter Joey was amazing. He was very attentive. The other staff were great as well. From other waiters, waitresses, kitchen staff and food runners. They were all helpful, kind and attentive. We ordered various items off the menu including dessert. I had the She Crab Soup. They had a nice take on it. I live in Virginia so it was a different taste than what I have there, but it was delicious. My son devoured his grilled Mediterranean Bronzino. He had no complaints. The portions were decent. My husband had the Prime Delmonico. He loved it and it was cooked perfectly. I over heard the table behind us thinking about ordering it as well. I almost turned around and said to order it because my husband did and loved it. But, I stayed in my lane hehe. For sides we have the lobster Mac n cheese, Brussels sprouts and the blue crab fried rice. Ok, that fried rice was pretty dang good. I was surprised by it honestly. I'd get it again. The lobster Mac n cheese had good chunks of lobster in it and it was perfectly cheesy. The Brussels sprouts had a sweet flavor to it, from the I think pomegranate glaze. It was not overly sweet, it complemented the sprouts well. Last but not least, dessert. I ordered the cheesecake cart experience. Let me just say my cheesecake expectations have gone up. Ha! My cheesecake better be wheeled out on a cart with all the toppings. The cheesecake itself was creamy and sweet. It was the first slices as well. It was fresh. The toppings were perfect, chocolate, fresh whipped cream, strawberries and a brûléed top. The bruleed topping was my go to immediately. We also had an ice cream flight. The pistachio was a fan favorite. Pricing was on point and expected for this type of establishment. I honestly feel the food and presentation meet the cost. We will definitely be returning.

She wanted to go here for a fine dining experience and for the ambiance and service. Halfway through the meal she began sneezing. Upon leaving we noticed a large dog, possibly a German shepherd, at a table. I spoke with the hostess, and she confirmed this was not a service dog, and she informed me that the manager made an exception because it was too hot for them to eat outside and the customer told the manager that the dog would behave. The manager made this decision without considering any other people in the restaurant. This is disgusting and unsanitary. If we would have known there was a dog in the restaurant, we would not have eaten there. We did not pay almost $200 to dine with someone's pet. Only service animals should be allowed in a restaurant and there should never be an exception made at the expense of other guests. I was disappointed and shocked that this would have been approved by a manager. I will not visit this location again unless the manager can commit to the highest level of service to the guests and does not permit people to bring their pets with them into the restaurant. Please contact me to discuss this further. I am so upset that my mother's 80th birthday lunch was ruined by this ridiculous decision of these people to bring their dog to Fogo de Chão and even more shocked that a manager would condone this in total disregard of other guests!

Our waitress was fantastic...she explained everything about how the Brazilian-style dining works in detail. The experience is all about the meats--they come around with chicken, beef, sausage, lamb chops, and more. Everything is brought right to your table so you can enjoy it as much as you want. The Brazilian meal comes with a side of mashed potatoes that were phenomenal, and the market (salad bar) includes a variety of cheeses, meats, white rice and black beans (which were very tasty), different fruits, and more. We also added the lobster mac and cheese, and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had. The lemonade/limeade was refreshing, perfectly sweet, and just delicious. The bread is also to die for--I couldn't stop eating it. Service was top-tier--attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The meal is pricey, but worth every penny. We even got the key lime pie to go, and it was a 10/10. This restaurant is located in a complex with plenty of parking, so getting in and out is easy. It was room temp and chewy. We ate about half before we couldn't take it anymore. We each ordered the COOL RIVER SALAD which said it was; Danish bleu cheese crumbles, Granny Smith apple, candied pecans, maple vinaigrette. Problem was each had big bowl of mixed greens. A pinch of blue cheese. I couldn't find mine. 4-5 pieces of candied pecans and what looked like shredded apple sticks which was wasn't even from a single Apple slice. I thought it was a garnish. It was pathetic. When we flagged down a waiter we asked for some more blue cheese and apples. Waiter didn't even acknowledge our request and returned with a single side cup half filled with blue cheese. Non apples. I was pissed but I got the look from the wife to let it go. She ordered a loaded baked potato which came out dry which had a dab of sour cream an essence of butter, a pinch of cheese, bacon and 3 scallions on it. She asked for more Sour Cream and butter and they brought out another dab of sour cream and side order of melted butter. Not one inquiry as to how the food was. But they were quick to bring check. It's tough for these types of restaurants to really stand out and distinguish themselves. They have to pretty much be doing everything right. The place is fairly cozy - read small. In fact the bar of the same namesake right next door is actually twice as large as the restaurant. The place is done up to be slightly upscale in terms of decorations and table settings. As for the food, we were there on a Friday night and it turns out they have a buffet on Fridays. It smelled good and the price was right so we opted for it. For starters they had mixed greens salad which was fresh and delicious, a mozzarella salad, breads and chilled shrimp. The chilled shrimp where the medium-small size and they had a really off/chlorine taste to them. Fortunately I only took a few of the shrimp. For entrees they had a cook to order station with choice of pasta, toppings and sauces. They also had a chicken dish, tilapia in a butter cream sauce and prime rib. The sides were mashed potatoes, squash and a few other typical sides. The pasta was so-so. The chicken was the same. The big stars of the night were the tilapia, the prime rib and the mashed potatoes as all were delicious. My wife even commented that the tilapia and the mashed potatoes were amazing. The desserts were in a word, horrible. It was painfully obvious from just looking at them that they were the mass manufactured type (you know, the kind that taste like Little Debbie) and not at all fresh. We sampled a few between my wife and I but were disappointed by it all. The service was half decent and friendly, though not exceptional. Our server was MIA at various times which for how small the dining area is and how empty it was when we were there is a bit ridiculous. Another strike was that the first wine glass I was given had obvious lip marks on it. YUCK! This is a fairly benign place that I think wishes it was more than it is but just doesn't have the tools to quite get there. I would really be curious as to what items from their regular menu taste like but I doubt we'll bother going back just to see.

Lesson learned- don't order seafood at a steakhouse. My dad enjoyed his scallop meal and subbed out mashed potatoes for the lobster- I would've expected a small price adjustment since he only had scallops and mashed potatoes and no lobster risotto. My mom loved her Capitol grill burger which I had no idea was available but my mom confirmed it is always available and always delicious! The high points of my meal was definitely the decaf cappuccino, custom made mocktail the server created (thank you!!) and the beet salad. Plus the complimentary Birthday dessert for my dad. Beautiful! The table was decorated with beautiful confetti scatter. My parents enjoyed what they ordered. I was thankful because this is their restaurant. I requested two coconut cream pies with extra cookies and the extra cookies were not included so that was a disappointment. Unfortunately I did not discover it until I returned home. . . Oh and attractive Manager Steve ( hope that's his name) stopped by our birthday chatted awhile and wished us happy blizzard . Thank you all for amazing celebration. I will return for my sister's birthday.

Last night, we dined at Eddie V's Prime Seafood at King of Prussia Mall with a 5:15 PM reservation…read moreon a busy Saturday night. The restaurant was completely packed, and by the time we left, there was a crowd gathered out front waiting--definitely a popular spot. Inside, the two-person tables were set quite close together, making the space feel a bit tight, and the noise level was quite high throughout the restaurant. Service was a highlight. Our server, Nadine, was warm, friendly, and attentive. She answered our questions with ease and always had a welcoming smile, and the bussing team kept our water glasses filled without us ever having to ask. We started with the complimentary warm bread and butter, which is always a nice touch. We were also each served a fried oyster called amuse, which was a pleasant surprise. I had the crab cake appetizer, followed by the Big Glory Bay king salmon with a side of crab fried rice with mushrooms. My husband ordered the Wagyu dumplings and the Norwegian salmon. I enjoyed my dishes--everything was well-prepared and flavorful. However, my husband wasn't particularly impressed; he found his dishes to be average and not especially memorable, which made the overall experience feel a bit uneven. While the restaurant delivers on ambiance and solid service, the food didn't quite rise to the level you might expect for the price point. Overall, it feels like an elevated mall restaurant--pleasant, but slightly overpriced for what you get.
