I always love Outback. It's always good! And while it's certainly not cheap, I really think their menu is affordable, especially considering the quality and consistency of their food. I brought my niece here recently after an outing. She wanted a burger and fries and I know Outback had great burger.. and I was starving and wanted a comfort meal: steak and potatoes! I had the 6 ounce sirloin, a baked potato with everything on it, and a wedge salad. Omg Outback's wedge salad is soooo delicious and perfect. It's huge and super cold and crispy!! It's seriously so big I think it'd be good to share. My steak was extremely flavorful and my potato didn't taste like it'd been sitting out for 10 hours. Love that there are several gluten free items, including the chocolate brownie with ice cream dessert... that thing is truly delicious!

    The entrance.

Visiting from out of state and was surprised when we got inside; it's cavernous since so much bigger than on the west coast. I know ... it's Texas, LOL. Greeted warmly with excellent, timely service. We both had premium cuts of steak cooked to perfection and never pass up the opportunity for a blooming onion! Very clean, very intimate feel in booths; just a great experience.

Ordered a medium well steak......and received this. It was charred so much that all I could taste was char. Was unable to eat it.

Ordered a medium well steak. This is what I received. I only gave it 2 stars because Door Dash did give me a refund. It was charred to the point I couldn't eat it.

Menus that were never moved cause no one else checked On me.

Day after Thanksgiving, male bartender complaining about being alone for the shift to another coworker who's sitting at the lowest bench (female in a blue uniform) and the manager comes over and doesn't even speak to me. I haven't even gotten to order anything except my drink, I wanted a steak and a full meal after shopping. It's fine. I'll go elsewhere.

I used to enjoy Outback. Emphasis on "used to". We arrived during happy hour for drinks and a bloomiń onion. But we couldn't seem to go for five minutes without our waiter wanting to take our dinner order. STOP ALREADY! The beer menu is very lacking, well short of other restaurants. We also ordered a Wallaby Darned, which is basically a peach bellini. It's fine. My wife thought it tasted like she had it before. Well, she had. They served her the wrong drink. She wanted to try the new Koala drink. But they couldn't get the order correct. The only good news was it was only $7. In my opinion, there's much better places to enjoy happy hour, but their bloomiń onion is my best reason to be there. When we finally decided we would stay for dinner, we shared an entrée. Unfortunately, we should have stayed with our original plan to dine elsewhere. We ordered the "new" Reef & Beef Platter, which looked outstanding based on the menu photograph. They described the dish as: "The ultimate trio featuring the best of surf & turf - a tender Victoria's Barrel-Cut Filet Mignon*, grilled shrimp and sea scallops with lemon butter." Well, your mental image of this food is as good as it gets. The scallops were very thin, cookie like. My impression was that a plump scallop was sliced in half. The shrimp were also very small, as well as the baked potato. The saying is, "A picture is worth a thousand words." It's too bad that it was nothing like the picture. Unfortunately, I thought there was no value in ordering that meal. The ambiance is casual and a bit of a cookie-cutter family restaurant that never reached beyond the 1980s. For a large restaurant, it is not very noisy. Overall, our experience wasn't worth the cost. I can not recommend Outback because there are so many better steak houses.

Inside dinning in Texas is open at most restaurants. We had a great meal inside this Outback Steakhouse after over 1 year without donning in anywhere, it was great. The same great menu, we order a blooming onion for appetizer of course, 2 kids meals... sirloin steak for 9.99 and cheeseburgers for 6.99 both accompanied by a side and drinks. 3 adult meals a 12 oz prime rib with 2 sides for 17.99, 8oz sirloin with coconut shrimp and 2 sides for 19.99 and 6 oz filet mignon with 2 sides for 20.99 Food was delicious and staff super helpful. Wish I could go back to this restaurant... will definitely visit next time in Texas! Date of visit: February 2021

For sides, I chose the mac and cheese, cornbread, tallow fries, and Brussels sprouts. This is the kind of meal you remember for a while. The Wagyu tomahawk ribeye was the star of the table. Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. It felt like a Texas steakhouse experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the most memorable meals I've had in the Dallas area.

Three females, all in their early twenties, all acting as if they don't want to be there. Same as my last experience. Then, a lovely woman showed us to our table. If I am not mistaken, she used to work at Fish City Grill before they closed. She was so welcoming and sweet! Our server, Kristen (sp?) was STELLAR! I truly hope management is having her train staff, she was excellent. Kind, personable, shared recommendations. Our guests were running late, and she was still attentive and our drinks were never empty. Even though our guests' tardiness was out of our control, she never acted upset about this. Once our friends arrived and the food was delivered to the table, we were all happy. Delicious food. One person ordered ribs, and Kristen even brought over a steamy hot cloth for him to clean his sticky hands- wow! Great service and great food. Hey, perhaps Kristen should train the lazy, unhappy hostesses, as well?

The meat is equal if not better than Texas de Brazil but that could be because when i went to Tex de Brazil it was suuuuper busy. The meat at Chama was perhaps a bit more memorable due to being hotter/fresh off the grill vs having made its rounds more. This is the one major thing that was missing from Chama: the mint chutney. That is a standout item at Tex de Brazil and given the fact that both serve multiple types of lamb, it was deeply missed at Chama. Idk im just a condiment junkie but idc how well the meat is seasoned and how high the quality (and Chama is unparalleled in both of those areas) i prefer to have some type of sauce for dipping. Ambience couldnt be better. Beautiful building and entrance, gorgeous lighting fixtures, just a really beautiful upscale experience Service was absolutely phenomenal. My mom preferred Chama Gaucho to Texas de Brazil by a long shot, worth noting. All in all, its tied for the number one placeholder for the best meal I've had in my life. We knew the day was going to be busy so we made reservations and we were glad we did. Upon arrival, the parking lot was pretty much full. We were able to find a parking spot. We had arrived before the rest of our family. After a short wait, everyone else arrived. We wait another 10 minutes and were then shown to our table. Wow, the restaurant was hopping. The servers and staff were all very cordial and attentive to the diners needs. Jamia, our server for our visit, greeted us with a big smile. She took our drink orders leaving us time to look over the menu. As we were looking over the menu, hot delicious bread arrived. Jamia was back in a flash with our drinks. We placed our orders. My wife ordered the fried chicken salad and I ordered the ribeye with a Caesar salad and a loaded baked potato. I requested my steak be cooked rare with a very cool center. I was worried since I rarely get a true rare steak. Yes there are times, I send them back As a former steak house manager, I watch services in the restaurant with a different viewpoint. My Caesar salad was served in a chilled bowl and the romaine was nice and crunchy. Soon our entrees started arriving. I could only imagine the "controlled chaos" that was going on in the kitchen, especially with a full House out front. Normally, at a steak house they'll ask you to cut into your steak to test for doneness. I knew right away, my steak wasn't rare. It's tough to cook rare steak that is only 1/2" thick. And yes, I should have said something when the platter was placed in front of me but I didn't. The ribeye was medium rare to medium. I just didn't have the heart to speak up knowing how busy they were. My baked potato was perfect.. For dessert, my sister had chocolate cake for her birthday and I had the margarita pie topped with a mango salsa. It was the highlight of my meal.
