Great food, great service. Manager was so awesome. I wish I got her name, but we loved her. So nice and helpful.

It's my mother's milestone birthday, and she wanted to celebrate it with 28 of her family members. This experience was honestly a 3/5, but our server turned the experience around. Parking: This location has a small parking lot. We visited for dinner on a weekend, and it was impossible to find a spot, so we parked on the street. Ambiance/Environment: It was extremely packed as usual. There were many people waiting to be seated. We noticed a lot of tables didn't have food yet. A family walked out saying they waited over an hour for their orders bc the restaurant was under staffed. Yikes .. Service: My mom made reservations a month ago. They even called her the day before to confirm her large party reservation. We had reservations at 7pm. When we checked in, they did not have a table set aside for us. The host said they're waiting for tables to open. We started to become impatient bc it was 20 min past our reservation time. The manager was brought out, but she didn't do anything except escalate the situation. We were finally seated at 7:30pm. Our server Jonathan was courteous, quick, and efficient. He turned this experience around. Food & drinks: We were split into four tables. Each of us ordered a blooming onion, alcoholic drinks, and a 3 course meal. The 3 course meal included an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert. I forgot the exact name, but I got one of their seasonal margaritas, and it was fruity and strong. For my 3 course meal, I got the baked potato soup, sirloin, house mac n cheese, and cheesecake with chocolate sauce. The baked potato soup was sooo delicious. The sirloin was cooked medium rare as requested, and it was absolutely tender. The house mac n cheese cost extra, but it was worth it! It was seasoned well and not too salty. Can't go wrong with a slice of cheesecake for dessert. I also asked Jonathan if they can surprise my mom with a special dessert for her birthday, and they even sang to her. Pricing: Despite the excessive wait in the beginning, we all enjoyed our food and drinks. No compensation was given for the excessive wait. read more

Used the tip feature to add extra funds for extra bread. Called the location. Spoke to Peri. Very helpful and very pleasant. After having a great time at the Boysenberry Festival at Knott's Berry Farm,we're very hungry walking all day and tasting the variety Boysenberry infused items. We decided to go to Outback Steakhouse to get a nice especially a nice delicious steak that's I was thinking off...STEAK.. We're seated right and the hostess hand us the meal and ask us our drink order. We ask the waiter if they have the three course meal even I check my Outback app they have on the app then we ask waiter and he's say yes. We both order the three course meal but we upgrade to a higher level of the three course meal. I upgrade my steak to 6oz to 9oz with a baked potato and a side salad and New York style cheesecake with raspberry sauce company with cheesecake. My wife got steak also but her appetizer to choice was the coconut shrimp and baked potato. I order my steak medium rare because all the flavor of meat have to be perfectly cooked and seal the flavors. The steak was cook perfect even have crusted on the steak so good. The baked potato was awesome fully of flavor and layers of flavors and bold flavors. Last month was my birthday I use my Outback free birthday dessert I pick Chocolate down under one of my favorite dessert at The Outback Steakhouse. The dessert was pretty good and chocolaty goodness. Cole was very attentive, professional, and friendly as he came to the table often to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Luckily, they weren't too busy this afternoon and we got a chance to sit comfortably at a larger table near the TV's where we could see the game, order some delicious drinks, and try their tasty food. We didn't wait long before we had our awesome bloomin' onion, steak, shrimp, and pasta plates, and the Aussie sandwich. Everything was great today and timely in their spacious Beach Blvd dining room. Had a gift card and realized that I hadn't been to an Outback in quite some time. The kids were excited so I figured why not. We went on a Monday, so it was pretty quiet, I've seen this place packed other days, so we chose well. :) The service was top notch,our server Jonathan was on top of things the entire time, and even offered drinks to go. I was also very pleased with the food! My son really enjoyed his steak and shrimp, and my daughter enjoyed her shrimp pasta/steak combo. My wife and I got the Aussie Three combo, so we got our meals with a n appetizer and shared our cheesecake dessert with the kids. December 30, 2025 My husband and I stopped for lunch and met our very special friend before heading to the LAX airport for our flight back home to Hawaii. I ordered the 13 oz Ribeye steak, with broccoli & baked potato. I always order my steaks well done and steaks always come out tasting delicious at all the Outback Steakhouse I've dined at. Let me just say this is one of the best tasting steaks I've had! It was cooked to perfection moist & flavorful. As seen in my photo. Oh and the broccoli was very delicious too as always. If you're looking for a great tasting steaks and reasonably priced check out this Outback Steakhouse in Buena Park. Located near Porto's Bakery. We no longer have Outback Steakhouse's in Hawaii. We went here for lunch today. I ordered the 18oz bone-in rib eye, mediim, with sides Ceasars salad and sweet potato. The steak was excellent, very tender with the right amount of marbling. I highly recommend it. The sweet potato, on the other hand, had one part of it that was discolored that looked like it was on its way out. The server today was friendly and very attentive. A second serving of the warm dinner bun was also welcome! It was a lunch meal so nothing special in the ambiance. Curbside Takeaway Made an in-app advance order for a Dressed Baked Potato. Arriving a few minutes earlier than the estimated order time, I waited in the car during a hot summer day. Approximately 5 minutes rolled by, so I called customer service to check on my Dressed Baked Potato. The staff member told me they were still baking the bread. Checking my phone, it took a total of 15 minutes till I had my completed order. Just got out of dinner and the place was busy for a Thursday night. Good for Outback! Although they were understaffed, we were sat in a reasonable time and got served pretty quickly. The various servers were great about coming around and checking in. We haven't eaten in here for a while, but the bloomin' onion was how I remembered it, tasty crunchy and addicting. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly to medium rare and the portions of sides were not skimpy. As for the ambiance, the inside was clean and still looked the part. Very attentive server! Thank you garlic parm chicken 10/10! It was made so divinely. It came out hot and well seasoned. The chicken was crunchy on the outside with a soft bite. Blooming onion 7/10! I think I would get a side of the petals instead of the entire onion! I liked it better dipped in ranch than the other sauce. Moc crock was so pretty it had glitter! 7.5/10 it was just really sweet. Got the ribeye medium rare 8/10 and sub the sides for Mac and cheese 7/10 and baked potato soup 6/10. My husband got the new chimichurri filet. It came with the blooming petals like a good amount. My friend and I went to this location so many times because the steak cooked the way we wanted from beings (medium) then we need to asked the medium rare( because of over cooked) and the employees are friendly there. We went tonight and we always ordered the same food with 2 water and 1 coke ( never never never ask for refill event though we share the cook with our steaks) . The young lady server came to our table without smiling but it's ok for us. Then there's a guy (maybe he's a manager) brought another coke to us and we didn't asking, he just put on the table then left. We find out they charged us two coke and we were uncomfortable with it. It's not about the money and it's about they assumed that we shared it and will ask for refill. We are quite to eat our food and probably only ask to refill water or ask for one more bread and never give any problem or attitude. I ordered drive up pick up. I arrived 5 mins after the order was ready. There was another car waiting on their food. 5 mins after I arrive , they get their order. I wait an additional 10 mins. No one comes out, so I go in, and it's quiet inside. The man behind the bar says he can see my order on the shelf, but doesn't know how to ring it up, so he calls the server (same one who brought out the other people's food). She comes out, purse over her shoulder like she had already clocked out and was headed out the door. I look in the bag, the container with my food has the lid open and you could tell the food wasn't hot anymore. My drink was warm and the "hot" food was cold. I should not have tipped, but I did. You can tell in the pic just by looking at the dry ass noodles that the food was cold. Horrible experience. read more

This happened on 9/21/25 around 4:40 p.m. I was there with my family, wearing gray scrubs. Edena told us "10-15 minutes." Cute. We waited nearly 50. In that time, about 10 groups who walked in after us magically got seated first. Twice I asked, twice I was told "you're next." Twice, a flat-out lie. Then suddenly, our name just vanished from the waitlist. How convenient. Meanwhile, Edena and Serenity (aka the bigot squad) kept giving side-eye and whispering while the only Asian family in the place kept sitting. When I asked if this was racism, Serenity's reply? A very eloquent: "what?" So shoutout to Serenity & Edena -- the bias queens of Outback -- for proving that steaks here come with a free appetizer of prejudice. Maybe I should've asked for the manager, but honestly, does Outback even train managers in anything other than Menu of Racism 101? Thanks for ruining a special day. We went on Mother's Day. I called ahead of time to check wait times. I was told 13-15 minutes which ended up turning into 30minute wait. I get it it's considered a holiday. However what happened next was totally a big fail on their part. . After 30 minutes we got seated. No one came for another 15 minutes and that's only after a server who walked by asked if we had been help. Finally host came who was Logan, he apologized then took our order for drinks. Offer an appetizer for waiting so long on the house ( nice gesture). After we ordered food it then took 3hrs before we were served. Just ridiculous the food was good but service terrible. We even spoke to the manager who said this was a normal wait for a holiday. Never again will I return to this location. Bad service and bad management. There's no excuse for this wait time. My kids and I loved it here. We went at 2:30pm on a Saturday when the parking for Porto's bakery was blocked and there were 20 cars waiting in the valet parking line for $3. That place was packed. Outback was much easier to get to. It has steak, fries, kids meals, desserts. What's not to love?! The restaurant was mostly empty and the service was super. Cody was a great server and the manager checked on us to make sure all our needs were met. The joey sirloin kids meal - steak, a side and a drink was just over $10 which was a great deal. We started with the lobster Mac and cheese. It was my son's first time having it and he devoured it (it was pretty good and had some nice chunks of lobster; pretty good for a chain at $13). Of course they start you with warm pumpernickel bread and butter. (You can also ask for honey butter). Drinks are included in kids meals, which is nice. They also had $7 cocktails before a certain time including wallaby darned (my favorite) and margaritas. Of course we got the chocolates thunder from down under - my favorite dessert with a warm brownie and vanilla ice cream. Only downfall was the $7 side salad. I wanted something simple since I wasn't too hungry and $7 for a side salad is steep! But that mustard vinaigrette is good. Service and cheaper drinks made up for the overpriced salad. I wonder why it's priced like that, though. It was kind of small... Anyways if you're looking for a spot for lunch or dinner near Knotts, Outback is a great option. I ordered the sirloin steak with baked potato and salad. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium well and it was medium rare ,the baked potato was undercooked, the salad needed more dressing and I had to wait almost 10 minutes before I could find the server. I had to ask for drink refills also. The people in front of me had some issues with the server as well. The gentleman ordered a special with steak and chicken and when she brought the food, the chicken was missing! The server said she misunderstood. I don't know if the server was new, but if she is, she definitely needs to be watched or have somebody do some training with her. I think she said her name was Allie or Alex I'm not sure. To have never tried a bloomin onion ever? That's just insane. After seeing a commercial, both my wife and I realized we had never ever been to an Outback Steakhouse in our lives. So we looked up the nearest location set a dinner date. Let the review begin. We entered the doors and were greeted and told our party of 4 could expect a 15 to 20 minute wait. We were sat within 10 minutes and our waiter David was amazing. True definition of service with a smile. He was educated on the menu and made sure to keep us informed every step of the way regarding beverage arrival, anticipating of appetizers and checked in adequately during the main course. What we order? Bone in Rib Eye 16oz 3/5 Queensland Chicken and Shrimp Pasta 4/5 The Outback Burger 3/5 Steakhouse Mac 4/5 Bloomin Onion 5/5 Overall, I wasn't very happy with my steak. But maybe my bar is set high. Considering it's a commercial franchise, it's not fair to put it against a Roy's or Capital Grill but those being my base for commercial steakhouse, Outback unfortunately didn't meet me expectation with the Rib Eye. The pasta was good. Burger though was not so good. Aside of the overkill on the mustard, the taste of the patty itself seemed bland and didn't give me a taste of a fresh patty nor was the bun. I'd presume if the burger carries the name of the establishment, more effort should be put towards it being a winner. The sides though were very tasty, and made a great impression. I'd go back for sure next time I'm craving some bloomin onion, and I'd be open to trying other items on the menu. Given the service, I'd be happy to give it another shot. Extra effort for the win: When we let David know that the mustard was excessive on our son's burger, he made sure to make things right, informing management. The bill was adjusted without a problem. Date of visit 12/12/25 My friends and I went here because we wanted a nice meal. We have been to Outback on several occasions but never have we visited this location. Upon arrival we were told that it would be a 15-20 minute wait for a table of three. We patiently waited for a booth. After about 30-35 minutes we questioned the wait time and instead of giving us a booth, they sat us in the bar area. We ordered apps and drinks, all of which came out perfectly fine and in a timely manner. When it came time to order our food, they took our order and we waited once again for over 30 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. When the food finally came out, you would expect it to be hot, right? NO, it was COLD! You can tell the food had just been sitting around and was not brought to us right away after it was prepared. All three of us sent back our food as we were not about to pay $100-$150 for cold food. We came here for a nice dining experience and got the exact opposite. The manager, Thomas, could only express that the "kitchen went down and thats why it took longer" whatever that means. There were people all around us getting their food and seeming happy about the quality, why were we the ones who suffered the "kitchen went down". At this point it was going on 10pm and we were all still very hungry. Not usually do we leave a restaurant still hungry. We ended up going to Panda express around the corner. Guess what?... the food at Panda was piping hot and fresher than the food we received at Outback. I will never return to this location ever again and I highly recommend that none of you reading this does as well. This location is poorly managed and should not be given the time of day. Outback Steakhouse is a chain with hundreds of locations. We had never been to this one, but it was so good we went for lunch and dinner on the same day. What really stands out about this Outback is the service. We had the same server twice and she was just great. We ordered several things and a few sides and it was all served hot and in a timely manner. She checked on us several times and made sure she listened when my Special Needs, speech impaired, grandchild spoke. Some don't bother and just look to me, but she took the time to listen so she could understand what he wanted. He adored her. The place was super clean, including the bathrooms and there was a nice wee smell of steak in the air. There is a lot to have there, not just steak. We had a pasta dish with wonderful white meat, boneless, skinless, chicken, and grilled shrimp. We also ordered mac and cheese, potato soup, and the best mashed potatoes with bacon, chives and all manner of good stuff. We loves it all and will go out of our way to visit this Outback. Parking is free and easy. It is located near a bunch or other restaurants and Knott's Berry Farm. Have the best time. read more

Had such a great time! Our server Jonathan made sure our meal was tiptop from the temp of the steak to the refills! He was very attentive. Everyone there was super welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well organized and music was not too loud or to quiet so it helped enjoy it while still having conversation. All the food was super yummy great flavor and our steaks were cooked to perfection based on how we ordered them. Also visited the restroom and it was very clean.
