The only reason this review gets 2-stars is because our server gave us decent service, a little delayed on getting us our food, drinks, and bread, but COVID - so I get it. During our visit we experienced a couple of eye sores - there was a table nearby that was dirty the entire time we were there and on top of that there was dried cheese stuck to the back of our bread plates. 24-36 hours after leaving the Outback, my husband came down with pretty bad food poisoning from his meal here. So it's safe to say we will not be returning. To be this unhygienic during a pandemic is preposterous. read more

I'm sorry I put my wife and kid thru this place tonight. We order bloomin onions which was just fine. Kids meal turned out to be fine although the server got wrong side for him. But that's fine. Sever never got my beer until after I asked her about it half hour after she put in the order. We ordered our dinner and it took them over an hour to get the food out. We ordered nothing fancy. Wife got a piece of chicken which was dry and came out with no seasonings. I got the wings which I liked no complaints here. But over an hour to get the food out? You heard it here first folks. Outback will be the Toys 'r Us of steakhouses if they don't act fast! I used to eat here 2-3 times a week, over the last few years the quality of the food has dropped, the level of service has dropped, and as the prices went up, the portions got smaller. Shortcuts have been taken at the detriment to quality and taste. Huum! This one was a hard one to stomach. ordered the prime rib 4 coarse. The wedge salad was the highlight of my meal, the potato soup was dark not creamy looking, wasn't very good I had a a couple spoons and it just didn't leave me hankering for another,. We stacked our appetizer plates, salad plates, barely touched soup, while waiting for the entrees. The entrees came and the dishes stood the duration of the meal service. The prime rib was dry dry & tough, maybe it was sitting in hot holding all-day or made another day. The baked potato was old, shouldn't have been plated. The hubby had the Queens land chicken and shrimp fettuccine said it was dry, the chicken and shrimp was over cooked and some burnt fettuccine noodles. Burnt? When we were done we set our plates along with the others, we had to Flagg down or server to ask him if he can take some of our plates away. He dropped the check and said he would be back with the cheesecake that came with my meal, I asked for him to pack it up for me. After waiting 10 minutes we decided to leave, no dessert for me :( keep in mind there was no more than eight visible tables. Management tips: please train/retrain your servers! I have gone to other Outback's and have not been impressed. My wife and I went yesterday. We where given a gift card by a friend. We both ordered hamburger with onions on it. It was really good. Staff was great. Social distance and all the protocols. It was nice and pleasant. Good job. read more

My Salad was fresh and tasted good. The New York Strip Steak was prepared how I wanted it. Finally the sides where fresh and delicious.

Had dinner there tonight. Ribeye for my son and chicken for me. Flavor was fine, meat was cheap cuts or low grade but what can you really expect for a chain restaurant. Two suggestions though. I always love coming in here! Especially for happy hour! The staff is friendly and I almost always see the manager who is very sweet and often goes around to make sure her customers are happy. I also really like their little table computers for where I'm in a hurry because I can immediately order and pay when I'm done. I've been coming here for years and don't intend to stop anytime soon. After reading the post from Outback on Facebook stating that on Australia Day, January 26th, 100% of the proceeds would be donated to the relief efforts in Australia, I decided to give this restaurant another chance. My past experiences have been largely uneven (I was last there in September for my birthday and had a good experience but the previous visit was not), but since I love Australia, I wanted to contribute. Yesterday morning I got there right at 1130 when they opened for lunch. I was seated in the bar and after I ordered my food, I mentioned to the waitress about donating and she said that the promotion hasn't started yet and may start "sometime next week". I told her about the Facebook post and she said that she didn't know how to apply it and had to wait for her manager to help her. I assume there was some kind of manager there but apparently she never asked. Therefore I spent over 30 dollars on a meal for myself (I was there alone) and not one cent was contributed to the Australia relief efforts. Their food is good but I got the Queensland Chicken and pasta which is supposed to come with shrimp but I asked for it without. It was very good but at $21.99 it's extremely overpriced. I know all restaurants are expensive but even Olive Garden and Red Lobster are cheaper in some areas. Honestly, although it was 'sticker shock', I didn't mind paying the extra money, but I'm really aggravated with this whole promotion and giving money to Australia. I have read comments saying that they aren't able to send money to Australia b/c of being in the US so I don't understand why they made a point of posting that status on Facebook. It's false advertising and I can't help but wonder if it's an attempt to get more business and make customers think that they are contributing money when they clearly are not. I did read the fine print that said that the ad has to be mentioned, but even so, it's not right to mislead people who genuinely want to help. Should I crave Outback again I will make a point of going to a different location. read more

Wife and I visited over the weekend. I ordered a full rack. I don't know what I was supposed to expect - perhaps a full rack of ribs the same way they are purchased at the store and grilled as one unit. Silly me. What I received was three pieces of meat, with three ribs each. Nine ribs, total. I expressed surprise when they were served - it was the manager who brought out the plate - and after finishing I told the bar server that what I was given was significantly less than what I expected. This resulted in the manager coming out again to tell me that a rack was 10 bones. I left hungry, went home, made a sandwich. Then deleted Outback's app from my phone. I won't be back. Perhaps if Outback didn't short people on standard meals, it wouldn't have to tease people in with offers of a free Bloomin' Onion. There should be attached photos of my rib discards. Since I have been in Bothell for the last several months on a consulting assignement, and this place is right down the street from the Hilton Garden Inn, it became my de-facto dining and watering hole. If you want steak at a restaurant, these folks are reasonabilty priced. The full-sized Ahi tuna appetizer with a side salad is definitely enough for a meal itself. Waitress was sort of distracted short and somewhat rude there were moments when she was pleasant however the big disappointment was I ordered medium well for my steak and what I got was rare in most areas in some areas it was medium I brought that to the waitresses attention I did have a few bites of the steak it wasn't that much however it seems she was more concerned that I didn't complain soon enough because I had a few bites then the fact that it was obvious it was undercooked and I wasn't necessarily asking for a refund or asking for a new steak or anything I was just pointing it out but she kind of made me feel bad for pointing it out it's just awkward so there was somebody that did come later and she seemed apologetic for what happened but she was quick to point out that her four cooks currently at the restaurant had a combined experience level of over 60 years which again threw me off because if anything with what she saw that was evident on the plate apparently 60 years of experience with four cooks they don't know how to cook a medium well steak she did offers a free cheesecake which was great she suggested her offer that we could get a discount on the steak I said no only because in the back of my mind I knew I would be never going back again so yeah overall I was just not a good experience so that's what I have read more

I'm surprised anyone eats here. My mom has been sick for weeks and I wanted to get her out of the house and have a good meal. My meal was fine. She ordered medium rare 6 oz filet I got the 8. They were both the same size. Hers came out bloody rare, she tried one bite and almost threw up. We flagged down a hostess and asked for our waiter. He never came some other girl came. Explained the situation she offered to cook the steak more. Mom said no, I want a new steak. Girl brings back the same steak, recooked. No, we asked for a new steak. Girl brought another steak, half the size. It was still cooked rare. Sent it back asking for a new steak. Waited for the second steak but the waiter stopped by and asked about how we were doing, first time since ordering that we had seen him. Mom says to forget it, when the next steak comes out she would check it and just box it to go. Same girl comes with everything boxed up. Mom said no, we are checking the steak before we leave. Girl takes it back and puts it on a plate. It was the same second steak that mom cut, recooked but now well done. They comped the entire meal and I know they got slammed but our orders were in 1/2 hour before anyone else showed up. I don't things fixed, I don't want them comped. I want them done the right way the first tine. So much for a lovely Sunday dinner out with an elderly ill mother. The girl and the cook should be fired between the two, someone should know not to recook a steak. read more

Only saw 2 ladies, one working in the bar and the other working on the main floor. No eye contact and no willingness to even serve costumers. Phone was ringing, no one even bothered to answer. Wow...Outback has really gone down the drain! We used to frequent Outback Steakhouse & found the food to be quite good. We had dinner there last night, going back after many years absence & found the food to be awful. My husband had a Bone In Ribeye ( $32.99 ) and I had the 9 oz Victoria's Filet ( $31.99 ). My husband said that his steak was very large but as he began cutting into it, he realized that very little of it was edible. It contained an extreme amount of fat & gristle. After about 2-3 bites he began to realize that the actual edible part of the steak was very small. My steak was flavorless. It was lean meat, done medium, and was very bland. It seemed like they put NO seasoning on it at all. I actually used A-1 sauce on it, it was that flavorless. You should NEVER revert to A-1 in a steakhouse! My bad judgement had me order a piece of cheesecake, to go. Have you ever had Jack in the Box, $1.00 cheesecake? That's basically what I got, for $4.99!! We stopped at the grocery store on our way home & bought an entire PIE for $4.99! This whole experience at Outback has me scratching my head. How could a once good and thriving restaurant go downhill so badly? It's kind of sad, if I cared enough to be sad over Outback! I just won't ever return. (Letters being sent to their headquarters and local restaurant.) The only redeeming part was that our server was very pleasant and helpful. Not "fine dining" but consistently good filet. Lack of available sauces places them behind Grazie, Russell's or the Keg but well prepared quality cuts of meat at tolerable prices. Decent sides. Children's meals are good for the price. I'd say add some sauce and raise the price a couple bucks. read more

I went in with an open mind based on the recent reviews, and was pleasantly impressed when I got in. The hostess was kind and appeared friendly and took us to our table past countless other empty two-person tables to the back of the room next to the toilet where the only other black person was seated. Bam! Coincidence? Probably, but noteworthy- I started on a low. The Blue Cheese Wedge Salad quickly livened my spirits. It was an absolute delight and I dare say, the best I've ever tasted. It was a 5+ star. I had a 12oz Outback Sirloin with Garlic Mashed Potatoes , cooked Medium and finished off with a Sam Adams. The meal was as advertised and delightful. I will come back here again and again and the ratings of this location should be at least a four. I am giving it 5 stars for overall awesomeness. read more

Friday evening was my first visit to an outback steakhouse. It was a long wait so I figured it would be good, but I had no way of finding out then, and I can't anticipate making another visit any time soon. We were seated and started with a delicious blooming onion, then the oddest thing happened. A nice kid brought us our food, then another older server literally took our food away and said we couldn't have it yet. I have tried to wrap my head around it, and I cannot think of any logical reason for this. I ordered a Bone-In Ribeye* 18 oz. online this Saturday; when I came to the store to pick it up, the steak is with a very large bone on it and there are many fat as well.
