The food was good but the amount of food you get for the price is horrible! The serving is VERY small!!! The service was bad and I MEAN BAD! I first want to say that the food was outstanding once we received everything we ordered. The service was weak at best. Yes, it was crowded, but isn't it always? We were seated two feet away from a table with a screeching baby, so that added to my frustration. (Seriously, can we get some adults only sections in a restaurant?!) There were 4 of us at the table. We all ordered our entrees. I ordered a side of coconut shrimp with my Neal. My friend ordered the steak and lobster tail. Fast forward to receiving our entrees. No coconut shrimp and no lobster tail. Waitress said she'd be back to check the temperature of our steaks. Happened when my husband had completely eaten his steak already. Manager came by to see how things were and we had to let her know we never received the shrimp or the lobster. I also asked for steak sauce since out waitress was nowhere to be found. Oh and I needed a drink refill. We finally received our entire meal. When we were almost done, waitress drops the check off. No asking if we wanted dessert or if my friend with a few bites of steak left needed a box. Guess we will go elsewhere to get our wedding anniversary dessert. Went there today and had a rather unsavory experience. We were there over an hour and I still didn't have my food at the hour mark... not sure if there was a new cook or if they were short staffed due to the holiday, but we first waited 12 minutes for a lemondade, after order was placed, 25 minutes for the appetizer, after order was placed (aussie cheese fries), and 40 minutes for two small lunch combos, after order was placed. They ended up giving me my chicken quesadilla with mushrooms, even though I asked for no mushrooms, so they made me another one, which was seriously the most delicious, but it took another 25 minutes. I was not pleased with the experience, nor was my boyfriend, who ordered the soup and a burger. His food wasn't very tasty, and neither was my ceasar salad (why does it take 40 minutes to bring out a salad?), but like I said, my chicken quesadilla was amazing once I got it, to go. Won't be back to Outback for quite some time, and certainly won't be back to this location. Blown!! I did call ahead seating for 8ppl for 6pm, got there & was told that the wait would be 45 min to an hour. After sitting there for 1hr & 10 mins & watching several other parties of 6 & 7 be seated b4 us, I was told that I wud be seated immediately by the manager & appetizers wud be on her...so 20 after that there were still no tables available & the managers only solution was to seperate my party between two tables, which was my last straw, so me & my family wasted 1hr 30mins of our lives, ended up at Silver Spring Mining Co & was seating immediately & the food was delicious. read more

2 for curb side. Sat. night 7:04 pickup, arrived at designated time, 7:45 food at my car. 1 person working curb side; jammed traffic in parking lot; understandably unhappy customers. Not the locations fault, management should add cooks and curb-side staff. Outback should adjust their estimated order ready times to account for this locations' constraints. read more

A few friends from church and my family came to this outback for the very first time. We were a party of 10 arriving on a what we thought was not a busy time...There was no one else waiting to be seated and the dinning area looked pretty empty with the exception of one other party of 10. Well, the hostesses were pretty much all over the place, I had to wait a few minutes before being acknowledged, which was not a big deal, the issue didn't start until after I gave her the amount of people on our party. For starters, she didn't get my name, gave me a pager or an estimated wait time. 30 minutes later and a crowded waiting area later, I go over to ask her about the status of our table she responded that she was waiting on her manager to decide where he wanted to sit us. That's a first, I've never heard of a manager making a decision of where to sit a party of ten. I thought that was a hostess job... Anyway 45 minutes and several parties later we were finally sat. I have to admit if it wasn't for our seating ordeal this place would have got a full 5 stars. The waitress was awesome! Drinks were filled before asked, she came around on cue to check up on us, our food come out at a decent time. I ordered the ahi tuna salad which was absolutely delicious! My husband had the 12oz steak (a little on the dry side) but he was satisfied, my girls had grilled chicken which to my surprised had to taste amazing for that plate to have been eaten cleaned! Over all I was very impressed with the waitress and her attentiveness (hostess not so much). read more

We ordered burgers last Friday night take out. They were done in a timely matter. However, we ordered them to be cooked medium well and they were far from that. I know some pink is expected but our burgers were very undercooked and bright red inside The bacon on my burger looked raw. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this place for burgers. read more

the waitress dropped someone's tea by our table and kept moving and didn't even ask if it got on us . nor did she clean up her mess

We've been going to this restaurant since 2007, and it was always our favorite. Over the last few months, we have found the portions getting smaller, and the service not always the best. Last week, we find that the menu has changed and that our favorites are now gone. This doesn't make a whole lot of sense; there are only two vegetable options now: potatoes or broccoli. The steamed veggies are gone, the "mushroom Marsala" sauce for the chicken is overpriced for the roughly tablespoon you get (barely any mushrooms), and the portions are small. There are only two burgers to choose from, and what is listed as a 6 oz. steak is incredibly small and couldn't possibly weigh 6 oz. We most likely won't go again... read more

My wife says I'm obsessed with Outback steakhouse. I frequent this restaurant on average once a week. Overall I am very satisfied with the food and service. They changed the motif of the restaurant a few months back which opened up the restaurant quite a bit. I have always been greeted with a smile. This Outback is always busy with a 20-40 min wait at dinner service. The hostess staff doesn't always make the best choices on seating patrons, but I you ask for something in particular like a booth or a table away from kids, they will accommodate. The management is always walking around asking us how we like out meal. Occasionally they overcook the blooming onion. read more

We went on New Year's Eve around 4pm, what we thought was before the mad rush. We got there and was told it was already a 60 min wait. Luckily, a table opened up in the bar area. Our server was really nice and attentative as could be since she was the only one working the bar tables. Luckily, the food was hot and prepared correctly. It's been awhile since I came to Outback. We went this week and I was disappointed with the food. Service was good but the steak was tough and not cooked all the way. We generally do curbside to go, and yes sometimes they run a little behind, but they always come out to let you know it's on it's way, maybe how much longer it will be, etc. Food is great. Always have loved Outback's food. My one complaint though is the portions seem a tad smaller when you do curbside to go versus dining in. But still generally too much for me to eat in one sitting. So - my wife and I have gotten carry out here with no issues but tonight we took the inlaws to dinner. First - they sat us with no silverware and I'm holding my infant son and they didn't even ask or offer a high chair. Server was nice and did work hard to fix what he could. Appetizers were good but they were out of plates for them. And out of kids cups. Our order took a good 30 min to come out. 3 of the 4 steaks were cold and the grilled chicken for our toddler came out fried. The steaks were taken back and obviously reheated and returned not done the way we preferred. Plus my garlic mashed potatoes were now missing from my plate. We ate our meal at this point we were to hungry to wait any longer. I do like their food but carry out will be the way to go as dining in was just fubar. read more

I wouldn't go here again. When we picked up our orders they were completely wrong and the food didn't look appetizing. But we got a refund.

Always a great atmosphere. Very relaxing and tasty. Steaks are always well prepared however you order then (medium-well, well, etc.) and desserts are just as good. Definitely recommend this place! read more

This was my first time at this Outback. I was traveling in from another state. I was celebrating a friends birthday and we had a group of 6 people. The server Sofia R was doing great with taking our food order and getting it to us. When my soup arrived the potatoes soup tasted sour and I asked for no croutes on my Caesar salad and it was loaded which I picked off. My main complaint I have is that Sofia never came back to check on us. We all needed our drinks refilled and never saw her again. I finally got up and asked to speak to the manager. After telling him what happen he explained that it had been a long day for Sofia. My personal thought was it has been a long day for all of us. I told him that we needed our drinks refilled and the table cleaned off. It was only about 15 customers and it was around 8:45pm not busy at all. He stated he would send a new server over. After about 15 minutes another young lady came over and cleaned the table still not refilling our drinks. I told her I was still waiting for my dessert because the manager was getting it but it never appeared. It finally arrived about 20 minutes later but no sauce for the cheesecake. I feel that the service is very poor. The staff should understand what the letter "T" stands for "Team" help out when your teammate is not around. I will never visit this Outback when I come to Baltimore again. read more

On 11/23/15 at 2:00 pm we stopped. We were in a hurry and needed a quick late lunch. Since it was late in the afternoon we felt confident we could get out a timely fashion. We frequent the BelAir location at least once a week for dinner and have been very pleased for a long time with that locations service, food, and overall experience. Today we needed lunch and decided to stop at the Perry Hall location. We are seniors and always use the AARP discount. (Even more reason to frequent your restaurant!) It was a Monday so I checked and the Bloomin Monday was on, so we started with that and we both ordered the Outback burger with a cup of soup. The bloomin onion arrived about 15 minutes later. It was slightly on the burned side, but not going to complain as it was complimentary. The soups were slow to get to the table, but after we asked they were brought out after about 10 minutes. They were delicious. The burgers arrived about 15-20 minutes later and they were both dried out. One was ordered well done, the other medium rare. Both were over done and neither of us finished the burger. We asked for the check, as we were late because the food pace was so slow. The server told us we could only use one discount. Either the free blomin onion or the AARP discount. At the BelAir location both are allowed, so we were shocked about that and did complain. We love that the BelAir location allows both, and we expected the same here. The manager, Patrick, came to the table. We told him about the discount, and the burned, dried out food. He said sorry about the food, and as far as the discount 'that is our policy'. That was it! He walked away! That was totally not what I expected from an Outback. The server apologized over and over but there was nothing she could do. Management had spoken! We paid, left a good tip for her (Michelle M), and left at 3:30, with a belly ache from eating to much of a burned burger. (90 minute lunch--not ok!) Very disappointed! read more

I'll start with the good, the blooming onion and bread. Now, the not so good. My bone in ribeye cooked medium was so dry I used the liquid from the bowl of mushrooms to try and get some juice. My daughter for the first time ever had to send her filet back. It was so highly peppered she was unable to eat it. The new steak came out less peppery but was cooked well done rather than the medium she ordered. My mom's filet was peppery and medium rather than the medium rare she ordered. The baked potato with all the fixin's was good until all the fixin's were gone and I was left with a dry, bland baked potato. The garlic mashed potatoes were just so-so. When my daughter got her replacement steak, the server kneeled down and waited until my daughter took a bite. How embarrassing. While still chewing the first bite the manager came over to apologize. This place has gone down hill. Was once one of my favorite restaurants. read more
