What the Hell ? This is the 2nd and last time we will ever walk in there. We sat down at the bar. The bar tender said hello and then disappeared for over 10 minutes. She didn't offer us anything before she was gone. This happened the time before that with the male bartender he was only gone for 5 minutes before he decided to wait on us, and then he over charged us on 3 things on the menu. Lots of good old memories here but when we just stopped in for lunch, the vibes were totally different. Guess things change but I would imagine the food should be as iconic as the wings. This time the wings were not good. Don't change things. Tried ordering the take out large portion of wings as a platter but you can only do it as a delivery now. This is a revisit. My gf's were committed to go out for lunch here. Unfortunately 1 bailed, ascribing to sickness. Anyhow we had a great meal with good company. No appetizers. My gf ordered the 13 oz ribeye, baked potato, and a salad. I had the same (med rare) with the crunchy salad. It turned out to be a feast. The bread loaf was great. We both left full and vèy happy. The food wasn't bad for the price but the steak could've been a little more tender. Since I did tell them I wanted it to be medium. But fair for the price. The service was decent, a little slow the hostess did mention they were short staff so I gave them grace. Their friendliness made up for the slow service. The ambiance was very casual nothing fancy at all, typical for a chain restaurant. The drink prices were great, I would recommend this place if you're on a budget. We placed a carry-out order tonight from the Perry Hall Outback of a sirloin steak with mushrooms and a cheeseburger with sides. Everything was perfectly cooked and so delicious! The food was not seasoned at all, the mashed potatoes was hard they taste like they been sitting all day the broccoli was over cooked, the salmon was nasty, my shrimp and chicken pasta had no sauce it was so dry and flavorless. The food never disappoints! I've only been to this restaurant a couple of times but the food did not disappoint! Ambiance and food gives the feel of a top of the line steak house. I am not a big steak eater either but their steak is delicious and cooked to perfection in my opinion. The last time we visited was pretty recent. While the food and ambiance were awesome, the waitress could have been better. She had us waiting about 20 minutes to get our check while she talked to a customer in a booth next to ours. Let me start by saying I being generous with these 3 stars. The parking lot is huge so that's a plus. Our server was actually really good. Outback isn't super fancy and you get what you pay for however on the downside, I ordered steak and that was a mistake. We went for my buddies birthday because he was craving steak. He got 11 ounces of undercooked chewy tough cow. He said he stopped chewing and just started swallowing chunks to get it down. It really was awful along with his nasty drink. The lobster mac and cheese was pretty good but my mashed potatoes were flavorless. I won't be back. read more

Was very disappointed this time. Was my birthday celebration and I was looking forward to my Potato soup. They had no potato soup and no chili so we had to order the French Onion soup. But they still charged us the upgrade of $3.99 per bowl (my husband had to order it also since he doesn't like salad). We were ordering the $14.99 special. They shouldn't have charged us the upgrade since it was the only soup available. Then they wouldn't let us use our AARP card. This was at the Perry Hall location. My family and I went to this location for my nephew's birthday celebration. We checked in at 9:15pm. We were promptly seated and drinks were ordered. We never received any bread and butter, I had to ask for it. My mother and I had ordered the QUEENSLAND CHICKEN & SHRIMP PASTA. I have previously ordered this dish a few times in the past and it is normally delicious, but it was not good at all last night. The shrimp was a mushy texture and the chicken was very dry and tastless. The bread and butter was warm and delicious and the bloomin onion was very good. I think the cook was rushing to prepare our meals and did a sloppy job in doing so. I will not be coming back here after 9pm anymore. read more

Years ago, I would frequent this Outback. After moving back to the area, I'm again bouncing between this Outback and another Outback depending on estimated order/wait time. Since COVID, I've always done Curbside - and generally have adequate experiences. Maybe I'll ask for 2 breads and 2 butters on the online order, and they'll end up only putting 1 in the bag. Or, I'll have to ask for them to bring out the kids drink that comes with the meal. Annoying - but not terrible. The reason for this review is to commend the Management staff for their response to an actual order issue. An order was clearly wrong -- and I didn't realize it until I got home. I immediately called the store and they put me on with a Manager (not at my request). That Manager was extremely pleasant and immediately accommodating. I was a little confused about the remedy she offered, so she put me on with another Manager. That Manager was also incredibly pleasant and ultimately we settled on the remedy. I cashed in on that remedy the other evening (a few weeks after speaking with the Manager) and it could not have been easier. There was zero issue. I got what they said they were going to give me. Met friends for lunch Monday, July 29, 2024. Our server, Samantha, was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was not crowded, so we stayed a little longer than usual. Samantha even asked if we wanted refills on our drinks as we continued to talk after our meal. My steak was cooked exactly as ordered. I am a Rewards member and had recently received a $10 off coupon (just because) and I also had a free dessert coupon for a recent birthday. So, I ordered from this establishment hoping for a relaxing, worry-free dinner and I can not stress how disappointed I was. After assuring me the order was correct, it was in fact not. Missing the chocolate fondue which was the primary reason for my order; I had to drive back burning up 30 minutes of my time to try and save this Valentine's Day fiasco. Came here per my daughter's request for her 10th birthday dinner. Saved myself some time by adding myself to the wait list online. When we arrived it was pretty packed and I heard the hostess telling other people that the wait was about 45 minutes, but because we did the online wait list our wait was only about 15-20 minutes for a party of 6. Usually on extremely busy nights like that, I don't expect stellar service; however, to my surprise, our server was extremely attentive. Any time we needed a refill or anything at all, she was right on top of it. She was also really friendly, our order came out perfectly, and most importantly my daughter had a great time for her birthday dinner. I don't think we will be heading back to this location any time soon. When we arrived at 5 it was pretty dead. Over half of the restaurant was empty and we were the only ones waiting to be seated yet it still took the host a while to figure out where to put us. No biggie. Get to our booth and it's dirty - crumbs and greasy handprints all over the seat. A waiter comes over and we give him our drink order and ask for a bloomin onion as well as a bread basket. When he comes back ten min later he brought the drinks and said he'd be back in a bit. Our bloomin onion came out burnt and drenched in grease. It was absolutely disgusting. It was three of us to dinner and we hardly touched it. For entrees my husband and I decided to split the four course meal. Our soup was never brought out but the waiter brought the salad my husband ordered and another random salad out to us and walked off before we could say anything. My husbands salad was supposed to have no onions on it - it was loaded with onions. Then the entrees came out. Our sons chicken tenders and fries were fine. Let's be real though, it's pretty hard to mess those up. Our steak however... it was supposed to be cooked medium well and it was red - I took two small bites and couldn't stomach it. My husband cut the whole steak up and it was nothing but fat and gristle. When the waiter finally came over my husband showed him and the waiter said that's how steaks are held together (what?) but that he could get us a new one. We asked if the dessert course could be brought to our son because by this time he was done eating and getting restless and he said sure. We also asked for the check - he dropped it off without bringing dessert and we got charged $18 for the replacement steak. Lots of time went by before finally a manager brought the new steak out. We told her about the bill being wrong and about never getting our soup or our dessert. Ordered online for curbside pickup. That went fine. 20 minute drive, I should have checked the order before I left. Get home and open container of ribs. I ordered a full rack with no bbq sauce. What I got looks like a half rack. There was even a empty bone laying in bottom of container. So aggravated because the meal was a rack of ribs and a salad for $23. I called the restaurant several times and phone just keeps ringing. Not sure I wanted to drive back there to argue the point. I've ordered from outback in another location and never had ribs served like this. Flavor was fine. This is solely on the fact that it wasn't a full rack of ribs and I couldn't reach anyone to find out how to resolve the problem. read more
