DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! This place hires UNEXPERIANCED techs FRESH out of school. I thought I was doing myself a favor going here a day before I left out of state for a wedding! I got a tech that had no experience doing acrylics. They were so horrible that I couldn't even say anything while I was there. I called the manager the next day. She knew exactly who I was talking about and told me that she got out of school a month ago and her techs use customers as there ginypigs .... after all that's how you learn right? WTH! Shouldn't I have been told I was being used as a test dummy. I was late leaving for my trip bcuz I had to go back to get them off & my money back ofcourse. That's Y they call this place OUTBACK. cuz its that hole in the wall ...OUTBACK! Very unprofessional. WISH I would have had this review to read before wasting my Time. And funny thing is.. The manager or owner whoever she is.. Told me not to give her place a bad name or she would find me! Ha I POSTED PICTURES! read more

Established in 1996.

Outback Nails & Tanning was open and built from the ground up by one independent strong women! She has recently decided to sell the business. Yet Hilda still does work with us all here at Outback Nails & Tanning and we are thrilled to still have her! With that said as of October 22nd 2014 Outback Nails & Tanning is under new ownership.

They have a good selection of packages, lotions, equipment for tanning, newest addition I think was wellness over the past few years..? I have not tried that yet, & I don't spray tan. I'm more of a go-to-the-beach person or come in for a tan visit. I just happened to go in today as they were celebrating their new remodel. Boy it looks so nice & modern! Love what they did to it! They are now wearing name tags also so I met Sophia today who checked me in. Very nice girl! The manager was there also but I forget his name. He has always been wonderful also! If the prices are above your budget, what I do is usually catch the holiday sales, Black Friday is a great one. They also reward you with discounts, free lotion packets, upgrades when you hit a certain number of visits. I don't live in Oxford, so I buy the visits & they work great for me. I have to hunt down my other pictures to post, but this is a good start with the new entry they did. Love it here! Always happy employees, get a good tan going here.

First & last time getting my hair cut at Salon 101. I had Tina, showed her several pictures of the…read morecut I usually get & informed her that my hair is damaged from bleaching & to please be gentle with it. She used a brush instead of a wide tooth comb & violently ripped through my hair. She faced me away from the mirror the entire time she cut it so I couldn't see what she was doing. There was also some guy who came into her station & stood right next to me, asking her questions about perms for like 10 minutes. She barely dried it & then charged $30. That's $30 for just the cut. No wash, no style. The haircut was so terrible I cried in the parking lot & then went to The Ritz. I walked in & the owner saw my hair, said she wanted to fix it & then did so free of charge. My hair looks amazing now thanks to The Ritz & I will not be returning to Salon 101.

The NEW manager Nadiya does AMAZING work with color! She is the BEST colorist I have EVER found!! I have had my hair done at some of the most high and salons however Nadiya is the very best colorist I've ever meet! I will not allow anyone else to touch my hair!
