I had been looking for a new Manicurist for awhile now. I have tried other shops and many other manicurist. But when I walked into Tiffany's I was greeted warmly, there was chattering from other clients that I could understand (even from other manicurist). My appointment was with Brittany, she was absolutely amazing. I had told her about my past experiences and she was like oh I'm sorry to hear that. It was like I had known her for a long time. She put me at ease, by telling me that she would not use the dremel. Oh thank goodness. The shop was very clean and very pleasant and very friendly!!! I honestly can't believe some of these ratings. It is definitely true that the minority tend to speak the loudest, because my daughter and I have been going to Tiffany Nail for over two years and although I typically see Tracy, I have yet to have a bad experience with any of the nail techs there. We went to so many nail salons before I finally found "my people" and I absolutely adore every single one of them. I honestly get so many random compliments on my nails, but they really do look amazing and Tracy makes them look so natural. It is definitely worth giving them a try. read more

Have avoided this salon based on reviews but after talking to some other ladies in town and hearing their experience I decided to drop in today. Had to wait about 40 minutes. But was told that upon entering so it wasn't a problem. Lihn did an ombré dip and I'm so pleased with the result. They are beautiful and her attention to detail was obvious! Spent almost $80.00 (including tip) on a shellac mani and pedicure. Lady told me it would last 2 weeks. It hasn't even lasted a week. I am a teacher who is off for the summer and I don't work with my hands, so there's no reason the paint should be chipping and peeling off so soon. This salon is very clean and well decorated. Good atmosphere. I know I've read a couple reviews that the owners are not friendly. I can't speak on this because I haven't had any experience with an owner of this salon. I can say however that Crystal did a fabulous manicure on my nails. She was very nice and wasn't overly chatty (which to me is perfect. I don't want to be chatty during my nail appointment, I'd rather relax). She took her time and gave me an excellent manicure. I give her extreme props too because my nails were in horrible condition from having acrylics and gel polish on my nails previously. I will be going back to her weekly if I can! Just can't beat a well done $15 manicure. If you go, I would suggest making an appointment and I highly recommend seeing Crystal if you can! Also, Stephanie does AMAZING shellac! Lasted so long. She's do nice and really makes sure everything looks perfect. Going back to what I said previously in the review before editing; I have met the owners now and they are friendly. Even my Dad thought this was a horrendous manicure. I got to the salon around 11:15 this morning for a simple shellac removal, manicure, and shellac polish change. What should have been a procedure that took 45 minutes to an hour AT THE MOST, turned into an hour and a half of disappointment. Feel free to reference my photo for an example of what an "acceptable" shellac manicure is at this salon. My manicurist began our session by telling me she was sick and she was up all night with a cold. Great. I really want you to touch my hands now. She proceeded to take off my shellac which became a 35 minute process. Once we got to the shellac application, she put two coats on at once with a combination of horizontal and vertical brush strokes...she did not even paint the sides...no UV in between the two coats. After UV light, she applied a third coat..when I asked about the bumps and ridges within the polish she informed me they would come out with the top coat application. The bumps did not come out and my shellac is a cracked globby mess. After the manicure was over, what I assumed to be the owner or manager came over and looked at my nails. I informed her that this was unacceptable and if I had the time, I would have had her take it off. My manicurist started crying and explaining to me that she was sick and she usually does a great job. I'm sorry is it my problem that you are sick? Call in if your sick don't come to work and infect all your customers. I was charged $15 for a plain manicure instead of a shellac manicure. It should have been free. I spent an hour and a half+ in there wasting my time. Do yourself a favor and just make the drive to Creative Nails in Rochester. read more

Stay away! Worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Read a few google reviews that said the place was clean and quick but the owners were extremely rude - thought I would give it a try anyway because the location was convenient. Scheduled mani appointments at 2:30 for a girlfriend and I. When we got there, I was told by the owner that we couldn't sit together because our manicurist's stations weren't next to each other. There were 8 open mani stations. When I chose colors for my shellac, I wanted pink nails with one gold nail on each hand - was told I had to pick one color only. After an argument with the owner he told me I could have two colors, but it would be $5 extra. Fine - I will pay for a service but don't tell me you can't accommodate such a simple request. The owner did my friends mani himself, and made her feel stupid and like she picked an ugly polish color. I didn't realize how ownership could have such an impact on my experience - I figured if my nails looked good and the equipment was clean and quality it would be fine. Totally not the case. If you're looking for a fight and terrible customer service, this is the place to go. read more

I have never went to a nail salon and felt so uncomfortable. The male owner of this place, obviously chose the wrong career path. He was very rude!!!!! For example, at one point during my horrible, discomforting experience, i asked him "do you even want to do my nails?" his response was, "yeah, i don't care". I would have left right after that comment but i was halfway done. I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this place and i WILL NEVER recommend this place to anyone i know. Honestly, I don't expect much from a nail salon. All i expect is to have good looking nails, friendly manicurist, and a comfortable environment. i was a first time client as a walk in. luckily they were able to take me right away. Victoria was my tech, she was pleasant and professional. CRYSTAL who was next to her station, unfortunately, was absolutely rude and negative the entire time, I coughed once having had pneumonia last week and she told me that I had "germs" and she was "going to put a mask on" to which i replied i was not contagious, but to go ahead if she was truly worried even though she wasn't my tech or even touching me! next few minutes she complained about several other things, then said she was going to " go postal" on customers one day, probably implying me, her attitude was ridiculous and completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. As a paying, new customer trying to enjoy 30 minutes of being taken care of, CRYSTAL wrecked it. I won't be back. Plenty of other salons in the area. read more

I need to start off saying, I do not normally do bad reviews for small business owners. In this case I was treated beyond rude by one of the girls and I will never go back. I was so excited to treat myself to a spa day, when arriving I was about 10 minutes early, looking to take time to choose a color etc...I was told I could sit but she would be a few more minutes. I could tell it annoyed her I was early. Then I asked about acrylics vs the dipping... she explained it some what. I chose the dip. While she was working on my nails, I had some questions never having the dip before. She again, clearly annoyed responded and I quote: " Sometimes you just need to trust and leave it to the professionals!" Well, okay point taken, I am done talking... Pedicure time, I asked about pedicures hoping for a deluxe, remember this is a spa day for me!? Nope she did not care to answer me, gave minimal information. So I chose the express to get my butt out of here. Sitting with another customer I quietly ask her if she ever had issues with a nail person, she said no and asked me what happened? I quietly start to tell her and Crystal approaches and asked if I had a problem with my nails. I reply, "No" she says, "are you sure"? I said, well if you must know I was quite taken aback by your "leave it to the professionals" comment. To which she replies again and I quote; " well, you asked so many questions and I was not done with your nails" Enough said, the customer I was with got wide eyed and said, "wow, you weren't kidding" she is rude. read more

I've been going to Tiffany Nails for the past 3 years and i have no complaints. This is the only salon in the area that is ON TIME for their appointments. I get in and get out. They are fast and on time and do a great job. They have the cheapest prices around and the salon is very clean. I agree that the male owner seems unpleasant at times...but i think its more of a language barrier thing...he is actually nice if u get to know him. Their are 3 other american nail techs besides Dan and his Wife Tracy...all three girls do a good job...and i think its a smart choice for an Asian owners to hire American girls...i always get exactly what i ask for..no ..misunderstandings. Went to get shellac on fingers and toes. They advised on the phone that they did shellac on toes when I booked Apt. I went Apt and was told they didn't do shellac on toes...not cool! So I told them that I didn't want my toes done. They were very rude. So I went back up front to wait and the tech for my nails was rude about the current nexgen powder I have on my nails (a product they do not offer). Not cool. I left! read more

Very odd place. My nail tech was very young and nice and did a good job. My mani/pedi took over an hour and a half so I just sat there and listened to the other techs talk the whole time. It was not at all a relaxing experience. A woman came in looking for a quick pedicure. The nail tech scheduler has control issues and immediately got an attitude with the customer. She asked her if she had an appointment (after it was already clear she didn't). Then she told the woman she should always try to schedule an appointment but they could accommodate her in a couple hours. The woman stormed out. The nail techs and owner then proceeded to talk bad about her for 20 minutes saying she had a bad attitude and they hope no one will give her an appointment. The funny thing was there was a nail tech sitting there playing on her phone and her next client didn't come in for 15 minutes. She could have easily accommodated this customer and made some money for her and the salon. Very bizarre. I could not wait to get out of there. I will not be back. read more
