I tried M Nails on Baldwin road in Orion Township for the first time today. While the staff was…read morevery nice and my tech did a good job, I watched as they "cleaned" the footbath after my pedicure. I did not see any kind of disinfectant used, all I saw was a tech who used what looked like a Mr. Clean white foam sponge to wipe out the footbath, followed by a hand towel to dry it. He then refilled the footbath and the next customer was seated. They don't use the plastic liners that other salons use. When he was done with the white sponge he tossed it back into the drawer my nail tech keeps her tools in while it was still dripping wet. Sorry, but that doesn't sound like proper cleaning to me. If they cleaned and disinfected properly I would be a return customer, but I won't take the chance of picking up a fungus when there are other salons to choose from.

I was blown away and how ignorant someone could be. My big toe is inflamed and puss is coming out now because of how deep she dug. This woman should not work in a nail salon. I will never return to this place again even if they paid for my pedicure. Worst experience of my life with any salon and I'm 36.
