If I could give zero stars I would. I went to this salon to have my (waist length) hair trimmed after moving here from Canada and not being able to see my long time hairdresser. I asked for a two inch TRIM and left with 6-8 inches of hair gone. Not to mention there is a chunk that is two inches longer than the rest - not even an even cut. This happened two days before my baby shower and I was devastated. Three months later and I wear my hair in a bun 24-7 because I can't even look in the mirror. WORST EXPERIENCE. read more

Owners Kim and Scott are local residents and dedicated to the community as well as providing the best salon services for the best value ANYWHERE. Personally I think they could double their service costs and it would still be a bargain (sshhh). Do yourself a favor and indulge yourself--at least once--at one of Metro Detroit's finest salons. When it comes to haircuts, traditionally I have always gone to a barber because that is all I knew. I have to say they made my first salon experience amazing! I recently made the decision to grow my hair out and let my natural curl pattern come back - but unfortunately one of the barbers who cut it recently had completely messed it up - my curls were uneven and my hair truthfully was a hot mess and I didn't want to let anyone touch it. I was visiting Michigan from California on business and lucky for me, I happened to speak with Kim about the challenges/frustrations I was having with my current hair style and barber. After talking she recommended Heather as my stylist - and I must admit - she was GREAT!!! I have to say getting your hair cut by a stylist vs a barber are day and night apart and an experience that I would highly recommend all guys try. Heather listened to me, heard my challenges and talked a game plan with me before even doing anything to my head. She also was able to share haircare tips and the perfect product that will absolutely help me as I work to get my hair to the length and style that I want.
