Paid $90 plus tip for root cover up. Just needed my grays colored black, same as my natural hair. The job they did I've done better myself with store box color. They left the color in my ears, forehead, neck, I came to the salon to avoid this but come to find out I do a better job myself. I wasted $90 plus an $18 tip on a shitty job. Some grays still show, I had to pluck them. Huge WASTE OF MONEY I had Brazilian waxing done and I feel so bad because I can't remember the lady's name but she was GREAT! Today was my first time going to salon bliss & spa and they denied me my hydro facial after waiting 20 minutes passed my appointment time because I hadn't been off of my topical acne medication for 7days. when I called to make my appointment no one told me I needed to stop using tretinoin. I went to Salon Bliss 2 days ago, Saturday, July 14th for my nails. I had a French manicure with what I believe was shellac(?). Anyway, I asked for the manicure that lasts the longest, typically 2 weeks. I was charged $40, no nail tips, just the manicure. I left a $10 tip. My nails are chipping already. And after looking at my nails more closely, the whites are not smooth. Also, my cuticle was cut too much and I have a scab on my right ring finger. It's red and swollen around it. Went to Nikki. Positive: great haircut, clean atmosphere. Would go back for a haircut with her. Negative: terrible terrible dye job. There's dye all over my face (See photo). I asked for bright purple ombré. Instead I got a hard-line in leu of a fade, and a 'tint' of purple instead of actual color change (my husband said 'I thought you were going to dye your hair purple? Did you change your mind?). Not even close to what I asked for. Nikki would be great for a stellar haircut, but didn't seem experienced in dye. read more

The staff is very professional and friendly, making you feel very comfortable and pampered. They are usually busy so you will want to make an appointment ahead of time and bring cash for tipping as they don't accept tip on credit cards typically (it varies for each stylist). Recently tried this place out. Was optimistic because of all the good reviews, but really disappointed in my service. My stylist was pushy and overbearing. Cut my hair shorter than I liked and went WAY over the top with volume when styling. Clearly was not able to get a sense of my personal style on our initial visit. I was too exhausted after a long day at work to fight for what I wanted and now am regretful. Also, was not able to put a tip on debit or credit cards, which I have never experienced before, and that was highly inconvenient. Everyone else was friendly, the salon was very nice inside, and I was offered beverages when I arrived. But this place is too pricey to not get what I wanted. I have been going to Toni for almost 20 years and she has done a great job with this salon. She has a full staff that has taken me from red to blonde to a dark brunette and everything in between. I have to say I have had some of the absolute best updo's from the Salon Bliss staff! The staff is always friendly and the salon is a gorgeous tranquil getaway tucked into the old Winchester Mall. My sister recently went to see Jeanette with a terrible problem. She let her daughter put "temporary" pink hair dye in her platinum hair while playing with her one night... it was stuck in her hair! Jeanette not only handled the problem, but recommended a very cute hair cut while she was there, styled her and left her feeling like a super model when she walked out the door. I have really dark brown hair and went in to see her because I wanted to go light. She did a color correction and nailed it dead on! She has hair coloring down to a science. I found the BEST NAIL TECH I called to make an appointment. They booked me with Francine and I was a little apprehensive to try someone new for my acrylic nails. However, not only is the salon beautiful and extremely clean they also follow all Covid protocol! I am in nail Tech but do not do my own nails when I have acrylics on. Francine did an unbelievable job! My acrylic nails did not lift at all and I was in a lot of water as well as cleaning because we had just moved.
