DONT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE BY WAFA‼…read more Wafa is so inconsistent with the quality of her work, but this time is my final straw. She's super rude always has an attitude. I've been going to her for 4 years, I used to get my face waxed because I have PCOS and I have a lot of facial hair and she would always make comments about how I should just go get laser, and it made me super insecure. She would complain about waxing my face when I literally paid her to do her job. And then i decided to wax my own face and just get my eyebrows done by her. Today I went to go get my eyebrows waxed at around 4 PM and I understand that it can get busy but as a service provider, your quality should always remain the same. Charging $25 for an eyebrow wax and messing up somebody's eyebrows is actually insane. I don't recommend you guys go to this place. I'm definitely going to find somebody else. I shouldn't cry after I get my eyebrows done because somebody didn't do their job right. As you can see before the service, my eyebrows were grown out and all they needed was be cleaned up. You can see the thickness and the shape. And after the service, you can see how she made them look uneven. The left eyebrow it's thinner in the front and the right eyebrow arch is completely different. She also made bald spots in my eyebrows. The eyebrows look nothing alike and my face looks unbalanced. I don't recommend this place at all, if I could give zero stars, I would! never coming back and I don't think you guys should go either $25 is absurd for this quality of service.

After being a customer for almost a decade ( my first appointment was in 2015/2016) I found a new…read moresalon. Bri the stylist the last few years constantly cancelled and rescheduled appointments, leaving me to book at another location/ with other stylist. I'm tempted to post 2-3 years of texts messages of her cancelling and rescheduling not including all of the phone calls made by the receptionist). This wasn't for family it would be for social events, to extend her vacations or if it wasn't to cancel the actual day, it would be to move my appointment up hours earlier the day of or the day before. I'd say 80- 90% of my appointments were rescheduled/ cancelled over the last 2/3 years. Most recently I had to book with another stylist at the other location (see review) who destroyed my extensions. My new stylist confirmed the incorrect placement and the inability to salvage them. When I complained about what had happened I was told to buy new extensions at my next appointment. These still had at least 6 months of use and are very expensive. I refused to let the stylist who then tried to lie about what happened fix my hair and have me pay for it. If she had taken responsibility for her mistake I would have felt comfortable with her fixing it. I insisted for a refund for the cost of only the cut and move up (not the color, she did a good job on the color) and was met with back lash since "they don't do refunds". They threw in my face the fact I was in the hospital and had to last minute canceled (2 hours before my appointment) as I didn't contact them sooner because I was sick and unable to ( they evens called it a no show). All while failing to see how she cancelled/ rescheduled the majority of our appointments the last 2/3 years for social engagements. I had only last minute cancelled once in about 10 years. And we parted ways. The entire situation was handled unprofessionally and inappropriately. Bri had other wise done an excellent job on my hair over the many years I had gone to see her. My mom, who went to school for cosmetology, has been doing my hair ever since I was young (cut, color, you name it), so I never had a reason to go to a salon. My mom, on the other hand, hates coloring and cutting her own hair so has been going to Salon 9 for years. Recently, I decided to go from my dark auburn to blonde, which of course can be a little harder on your hair, so my mom said I needed to have it done professionally. Thus, I found myself going to my mom's stylist, Lauren, who just so happens to be their color expert as well. Well, she is just fantastic! Needless to say, the color turned out beautifully and I have been seeing her for my extreme color needs ever since! I would even like to add that my bridal party had their hair and make up done here and everyone looked stunning! read more

When I was in 7th grade ( many years ago :) ) I had a horrific experience with a salon..literally walked out in tears after what they did to my hair. From that point on I was terrified of going to another salon, only allowing my mom to trim my hair. Until I found Studio 9 a little more than 10-12 years ago. Since then, they are the ONLY salon I go too. I have had 3 consistent stylists- Linda, Mae, and now Brittany. I have never walked out disappointed. I absolutely love going in there, everyone is so friendly, and happy - it's obvious they love what they do, and it's not just a job to them. The owner is an amazing woman as well, and it shows in the women working there. I will never go anywhere else. read more

I have been coming to Studio 9 for years, since their original location. I have referred many friends and family members. Most ladies I know ( and some men) go here. What I really appreciate is the following: 1. Upscale and nice salon with down to earth stylists that know their stuff. 2. They cater to ALL clients: kids, young adult, seniors etc. Very comfortable! 3. Their owner def put emphasis on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, if you have an issue (both their manager and stylists) will go out of their way to fix it. I have had it happen to me, and it has happened to others. They do it without an attitude and want to make you happy! Love this salon and the ladies who work there. read more

I struggle to write this review - because frankly, I want to keep them all to myself! But alas, I need to give props where they're due ... Anita has been cutting my hair AND my son's hair for the last 7 years and I can't imagine going any where else. Her talent and personality far exceed any expectations. She has a great connection with my son - so much so that he won't let anyone else touch his hair! Then there's Gorana. She is amazing with my nails. It's funny to watch her correct any little flaw that the rest of us might not see. She takes serious pride in the work she does and I never leave there with less than perfection. read more

Best Salon in Michigan, When I called, a freindly voice asked my name and who I wanted to see and I immediately got an appointment with Amber. She has cut my hair for over 7 years. Coming from California it is hard to find a new ploace to get our hair cut. I like longer styles and for a man who is 70 it takes a good stylist to work her or his magic to make me look good. My hair is the best it has looked in 20 years and it is easy to care for after the cut, and lasts for 3 months. I frequently get complements on my haircuts, which I color myself for the last 45 years. I highly reccomend Studio 9 for all your beauty needs. read more
