I don't usually do reviews like this very often but in this case I must. I get my hair done by Michelle Gardner, and have for over a year now. She gotten my hair from a box dyed jet black to a gorgeous platinum ash blonde which I thought was impossible. Not only that but she has done it without completely frying my hair like I was expecting going into the process. Shes always been honest and told me what I was going to get at each appointment. I mean you can't go from black to blonde overnight! My hair was never at an awkward color, she gradually got me lighter very graciously which was amazing. Who wants to pay to get there hair done and not like it? Not me! Well Michelle will not let you leave the salon until you are beyond satisfied unless she can't do anything that day, which then she will make sure you come back and she does her best until you love your hair. I will end it at that, but honestly I didn't even scratch the surface. I'm so lucky to have finally found such an amazing hair dresser around my area and mind you, I'm not the kind of person to go on and on about a service but I've also never been so happy with my all around service with anyone else. I love Salon 101! The staff is so nice there & they offer great specials! They are always giving out coupons and doing a lot to help the community! They recently turned the upstairs level into a day spa and it's called "Next Level Day Spa" So cute! They have private facial, pedicure and massage rooms! Salon 101 offers unique things like eye lash perming, OPI shellac manicures, razor hair cuts for long hair, back treatments, perms, foil & cap highlights, ear candling, air brush make up, body waxing, & a wide range of facial services!!! Salon 101 offers great hair cuts, they have such a wide range of stylists who all use different techniques! You are sure to leave with your perfect hair cut and color! If you want to see an esthetician, Salon 101 is the place to go for a facial! There is such a wide range of services, you pretty much name your price & get a facial to fit your skin care & budget! I had the same hairdresser for at least 20-25 years, traveling quite a distance the last 10 years since I had moved. I had to get hairdresser closer to home. I decided upon Salon 101 and I am very happy I did. Kellie, the owner, seems to know what to do with my hair (when I dont!). I like the changes she has suggested with the coloring and the haircut does not get "crazy" the week before my next appointment. Darcie, the receptionist is so pleasant. Seems to always have a smile and makes me feel comfortable when I walk in. Time flies when I am there, since Kellie and I always find "stuff" to talk about. Right now the salon is being redecorated, but I know the final result is going to be great! Oh yes, and it is always clean, even when the weather doesnt cooperate! I had a great experience at Salon 101 today. The receptionist was very welcoming and the environment was very chic. All employees were nice and the stylist I had was very professional and caring. The stylist did a balayage style of highlighting which gave my hair a more natural, sun-kissed look to it. I love how it turned out! I have also enjoyed other services at Salon 101 including organic facials, waxing, and spray tanning. I have been fully satisfied with all the services I have had done at this salon. I just love going to Salon 101. I have been a client for many years. I have my hair done very regularly, every six weeks for years now. I feel their prices are more than fair and I have never had so many compliments on my hair color and cut. Tina Turner had some big shoes to fill when I came to her after my previous stylist retired last year. Tina listened to what I was looking for and asked plenty of questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. My stylist has been Kellie for many years and there is a reason I keep going back! She is wonderful. Very friendly and knows her stuff. I always get great service there.
