Very average breakfast. County fried steak I had I don't think was homemade. Egg potatoes and gravy were good Wifes blueberry oatmeal was good. Cheap coffee was ok. Might try a different place if we are ever in Cody again. read more

They are crazy busy on this Fourth of July, but the food is good and the service is super friendly! We would definitely stop in again.

Down home cooking. Wish they had more room for waiting and sitting but they fit in with the quaint atmosphere of Cody WY. The food could use more seasoning as our taste buds have been around to a few other cities and were looking for maybe one or two more sprinkles of something special but they fit the average breakfast food and they have a wait staff that makes you feel like you just walked into your grandmas kitchen. 3 stars are pretty fitting for this location and as a warning, make sure you bring cash as they don't accept any other form of payment. read more

Blueberry pancakes awesome, eggs over medium cooked perfectly(most places get it wrong but not here), biscuits and gravy good, hash browns were shredded thick and were perfectly crispy. Most places get that wrong too and wind up being greasy and not crisp but they were spot on. 25 cent strong coffee!! read more

We stopped here this morning with a little apprehension, but were pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's ordinary fare, but nicely done. The bacon scramble was moist and loaded with bacon, the hash browns cooked to perfection. Cash only, but very reasonable compared to more expensive, less tasty places we've been through Montana and Wyoming. Glad we stopped here. read more

I would give this review 1 star. Because of the support of our Law Enforcement I'm giving 3. I would have given 5 stars if the service would have been more attentive, in refilling their customers with their 25 cent. When the food finally did arrive, it took over 35 minutes. The food was ok though heaps of butter on the toast. By ok I mean edible and portion size was what people should eat but is less than what they might expect. The service was sub par for sure. If you are passing though and want breakfast it is a place to go if the other place is no longer serving breakfast which is what happens to us. read more

Ate breakfast here twice and had two of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Pancakes and eggs one day, with melt in your mouth pancakes, and chicken fried steak that couldn't be beat. Nice little place. The blueberry pancake was great but I wasn't a fan of American cheese on the omelet. The coffee was good and cheap.

We had breakfast there Sunday and it was ok, but nothing special. Service was slow, space is tight, food bland, average price, atmosphere a little uptight like people have ripped them off. No credit cards. Probably won't go back, but we know a couple that goes there for chicken fried steak and love it. Just not for us. Sound acoustics are terrible and my husband couldn't hear. read more

Walked in to place a carry out order, and the waitress at the desk said "we take carry out orders if we have time." Then I asked her "Do you have time now?" - why else did she think I was standing in front of her on a Saturday morning? It certainly wasn't for future reference. I took the menu outside to let the other 2 people with me select what they wanted, and then headed back in to place the order. Stood there for 5 minutes - 2 waitresses asked if I had been helped, so I told them no, I was waiting to place a to-go order. The 2 waitress finally went and told the original waitress/hostess that I was waiting, to which she snapped her rude reply "I SAID I'll get to it if I can!" You should've seen the surprised look on the youngest waitress's face! With that, I exclaimed loudly that I wouldn't be spending ANY of my money there, as I spun on my heels and left. We went to a LOVELY, CLEANER and friendlier place down the street and had a fantastic breakfast. read more

This place is packed with locals and for good reason. I had the biscuits and gravy which were terrific. The biscuits were very light - not at all heavy - and the gravy had a good flavor. This is a small place and you could easily wait for a table, but it is worth the wait. Also, the staff are friendly and the whole vibe is very home-style. read more

Great breakfast! The bacon was thick and cooked to my order. The eggs were large and basted perfectly. The hash browns were golden and plentiful. The service was exceptional. The ambience had a lot of local color--several cowboys sitting around enjoying their coffee and company. This place was great! We were passing through Cody and decided to try this place out, the 25¢ coffee was a big draw.
