You could spend $40-$50 online for a DIY replacement screen and spend 2 hours doing a tedious repair (if you're lucky), or you spend $100 for Carder to come to you with all the parts required and do a much better job while you sit there and watch. Okay, I will never buy a new iPhone again. I will only be using this guy's services, no joke! I don't know why anyone would buy a new phone when they could use OTW and let me tell you why! I broke my phone when it fell out of my pocket into the toilet so first I went to Verizon bc I knew I was eligible for an upgrade. However "upgrades" these days literally only mean payment plans. They told me it was going to still be $800 for an iPhone 8! So I said forget that, I looked on Offer Up to find someone who was selling a refurbished phone and found his company. It looked legit bc he had about 190+ items for sale on there and they were all decently priced and he offered a 30 day warranty. And what was even better is he credits you toward your new phone if you exchange in your non-working phone (which I had) so it saved me some dough! On top of it he comes to you!!! We met in the HEB parking lot (so a public place- but after meeting him I would feel confident telling anyone they would be safe to have him even come to their home) Carder (the owner) was the nicest guy, he didn't seem sketchy at all, he made sure I knew how to turn my old phone off and restart the new one. And although he probably doesn't want everyone doing this, he even gave me some tech support after I got home via text when I had some questions about backing up my iCloud etc. I just couldn't recommend him more, he's a legit, honest, hardworking guy, and us Americans needed a company like this so we don't get screwed by Apple and the phone companies every time we lose or break our phones!!!
