I wasn't sure if I would like this place, but I really enjoyed both the lash tech and the threading tech. Both young ladies were kind and full of joy, efficient and competent. I have anxiety, which pops up at the most inconvenient times; laying on a folding table with your eyes closed is definitely uncomfortable! This place is a hidden gem! The gold facial is amazing. My skin looks and feel so smooth and looks so dewy and fresh. I highly recommend. I was always a eyebrow waxer but since Trying their threading I am ever ever going back. It was so easy and quick. No red irritation afterwards like waxing. The owner is from Napal which makes conversation really fun and interesting. She is very gentle and easy to understand. I will be back for in 3 weeks to get another facial for sure. read more

DON'T SUPPORT RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I got my brows and sides of my face threaded here and the price is listed at $7 for brows, $7 for sides of face. The woman charged me $20 without explanation and insulted me before letting me out of the chair. She said, "you have really big pimples" then smirked and looked away. Well, I finally found one!! Otto Eyebrow Threading is wonderful. Tara is AMAZING!!!! She cleaned me up 1, 2, 3!!! I had a good experience here when I went the first time, as far as customer service went. But the place was a bit messy and unorganized. she only had two people threading, and when I she was doing my eyebrows she was very rough and hurt me. I think this shouldn't be caused a threading salon cause they only got two chairs for threading. The price was fair, they take debit cards. This will be my new emergency spot. read more

Edited review: So after I wrote my review Tara reached out offering to fix my lashes or do a different set for a discount. I really appreciated that but I only had a 2 day time frame until I was going on a trip & she couldn't accommodate a night time appointment. I gave another star because she did TRY but couldn't give a 4/5 star review because at the end of the day I am still unsatisfied with the service I received & will still have to pay for a new full set elsewhere. I never got to have a second experience with Tara. I'm leaving this review up because I depend heavily on honest yelp reviews myself on a regular basis. Unfortunately giving a 2 star review for the Eyelash extensions. Con: So this was my first time getting them done and I THOUGH she had a special going because that's the way it was advertised on Facebook ($$ Valentine's Day special 100 for lashes + eyebrow threading / tinting ) After I figured out it wasn't a special at all because her eyelashes are $79 and her eyebrow / tinting is $20 so I over payed $1. Not that the $1 was a big deal just the fact that the $100 was advertised as a Valentine's Day SPECIAL. Making me assume it was done at a discounted price. ( My fault for not checking original pricing & believing false advertisement) Anyway when I first got the lashes done they looked good - I wanted more of a volume lash but whatever still looked great. Then I noticed lots of fall out even though I was following the care instructions I read there & online. By week one they started looking pretty sparse in comparison. Today ( day 11) my right eyes lashes looks ridiculous to me because so many of the lashes have fallen out compared to my left eye. From all my research before getting lashes this looks like a 3+week grow out... ( right eye ) but I've literally been seeing my lashes fall out everywhere. Now I'm going to have to pay someone else more to start these lashes over! There's no way they'd believe this is only a 11 day grow out. Pro: Tara is a super friendly lady! She is communicative during your sessions and makes you feel comfortable especially if it's your first time. The atmosphere is calming & the bed you lay down on it very comfortable. read more

My eyebrows are like a forest! The hair never wants to come out and is always a problem. When eye brow threaders see me, it makes them angry. This is a serious thing. Reason I don't go to the Tacoma mall anymore. Otto is absolutely the best. She is nice, doesn't give me any troubles for my brows, and makes me feel at home while she fights with this forest/jungle on my forehead. Many thanks!! Also she is much cheaper thank other places. If I could I would give zero starts to be honest. I walked in to get my eyebrows threaded. There was only one girl there that had a client doing eyelashes and she said it would be awhile and she was gonna call someone in which I'm fine with so I waited and signed in the sign in sheet. Three other girls walked in after me that seem to be frequent customers so they start to chat and she takes one of them back first didn't have appointment walk-ins just like me. So I waited for the "other girl" doesn't seem to be coming so I speak up and she goes on to tell me the other girl wasn't coming. So I asked why is there a sign in sheet here if you don't go by it? And she seemed confused by my answer and I said because I was here first and waited an hour. And she acted shocked and had no answer. I've never had to wait an hour to get my eyebrows done and let alone to never get them done!! Worst customer service on the eyebrow part. The other services hair salon, etc. I don't know but my review is based of the actual threading service. read more
