I'm surprised to see only 3.5 stars but, I guess I'm more appreciative of a great pizza? My friends have been talking about this place. Finally, I made it in for myself. My son and I got the hot honey pepperoni, and pepperoni, sausage, bacon. Both were absolutely delicious. If not, the best pizza I've ever had, in my top three. We did have to wait quite a while to get our food. There were other who came in and waited a while also. But there was one waitress... She was the hostess, she was behind the bar, she was picking up dishes... She was busy. We were happy to be inside a warm establishment . Others who were in a hurry, may not have been as happy. This will not be my last trip to Otto's . So good! read more

We are from Jersey.... Everyone has a favorite place in Jersey but most says no place does pizza right like Jersey. After moving to Maine, I'd say there's something to that. For Maine standards ottos pizza is good. There are lots of unique combinations though I think my favorite is double dough plain. The potato bacon scallion pizza is also good as well. There are a few other options that my wife and others have tried and it's pretty consistent that they get 2 thumbs up. I'd give them a try if your in the mood for pizza. I've visited Otto Pizza twice. Both times they did not disappoint. First, the staff is not only friendly, they are courteous and helpful, they are happy to take the time to tell you about the pizza, and make suggestions. My first visit they recommended the 4 cheese- omg! It was so good! The next time I tried the potato and bacon- was skeptical about potato on pizza but it was super good. I added some ricotta to my bacon and potato because that was my favorite part of the 4 cheese pizza. I also have a gulden sensitivity so I had the GF crust. Best I have ever had. I had leftovers (pictured) the next day- few minutes in a hot skillet made the crust perfectly crispy, adding a lid while it cooks will melt the cheese perfectly. I will be back. read more

OTTO is usually the first place I recommend when suggesting a good pizza spot in the area. My most recent experience here was extremely disappointing. I placed a large order for a business event to be delivered to my office for 11:45 AM to be in time for a 12:00 team meeting with lunch. When the order did not arrive, I allowed a window in case the driver was maybe running late. I called the restaurant at 12:15 PM to inquire and I was told that the order was still sitting there and the driver had not picked it up. (I never received any communication from the restaurant. If I had not called I believe the order would have just sat there) I asked when the driver would be there and the lady on the phone said she did not know. I then told her I would just go pick it up. I had to leave work, delaying the business meeting to pick up this $200 order of pizza. When I arrived at the restaurant, all the girl could say was she didn't know what happened and she didn't know why the driver took the other orders but not ours. When I questioned getting my delivery fee and tip returned since I had to pick up my own order she said it would just get refunded. I had to ask for her to take my name and number for the manager to contact me to make sure I was refunded. Nobody ever contacted me and I was not refunded the delivery fee or the tip for the driver. I did not return back to the office with the order until 1:00 for an order that was supposed to be delivered at 11:45. This whole experience has turned me off of using OTTO for future business lunches and has cost me time and money. I would caution anyone who needs an order delivered for any type of event to ensure you have a contingency plan in place in case your order never gets delivered or plan on picking it up in person. read more

I've had Otto's from a few of the Portland locations in the past and they were consistently pretty tasty. This location hasn't missed a beat in the times we have gotten take out. The staff is friendly and notice you if you're waiting if you need assistance or what the status of your order is. But let's get down to what you're here for - the pizza. Sure, it's on the higher end of the price spectrum, but this ain't no national chain pizza. Expect a thin crust with a light char on the edges and underside with higher end ingredients and toppings that will satisfy a wide variety of taste buds. Our favorites are the classic pepperoni (for the kids, of course) which has a nice combo of their tomato sauce and crust, followed by the pulled pork and mango (another fruit on a pizza? don't deny before you try), and a few times we may venture off into a tortellini pizza, mashed potato, spinach and Kalamata olive, or maybe a seasonal pizza. Sign up for their rewards and go up the point chain to receive some nice coupons every now and then. Keep up the good work, Otto's! read more

So excited to have such an amazing pizza place in the neighborhood! So many fun options that are absolutely delicious my favorite has to be the mashed potato pizza and chicken and avocado Pizza!! Its a-must do!! The service is spot on and Big Ben has to be the best bartender in town also the most entertaining and really cares about every costumer !! I've had pizza from nearly every piZia shops in town. some were excellent, others good but after our visits to Otto', it has become our #1 place for both dine in and takeout. The pizza is amazing! Service was nothing short of wonderful. Great selection of unique pizzas along with the traditional favorites. Restrooms we spotless. Parking was not an issue at all. All of our orders were made to perfection. With staffing issues all over the place, they managed to find a very friendly and attentive staff. read more

Sadly I used to love this place but yesterday I paid 30 dollars for a take out pizza and it was an undercooked sloppy mess. Could not even lift a slice without it literally falling apart. When I called to let them know the guy was very nice and said his manager would call when he got in at 4. Didn't happen. If I give you the chance to fix a mistake and you don't.......well, then I let people know. Customer service totally lacking and word of mouth is everything. read more
