Their Pepperoni pizza is just the right amount of cheese and the crust isn't too thick. They offer coupons for each pizza purchase for a free small pizza. They offer delivery for a fee and sometimes you may need to wait an hour but it always arrives hot. Tips are encouraged for the drivers. They also give quietly to the community and the schools. So let's begin and say this is the best pizza in the Augusta area.. everything about the pizza is fantastic, crust is tasty, sauce is very good and there is definitely no shortage of toppings. So why the 4*, I hate to admit it, the lobster roll brought them down. The lobster filling was actually very much on par, it was the roll. Decided to try their 1/2 lb lobster rolls today for Mother's Day. They were pretty busy but the service was fast enough. I got my lobster roll with lettuce and tomato. Delicious! I was slightly nervous about the size of it at first, I mean twelve inches of lobster roll is no laughing matter, this is serious business here! However, I managed to eat the whole thing. I ordered take away and was not disappointed! Since it was a pick up, I got the buy 1, get 1 at 1/2 price. One pie was pepperoni and green pepper, the other was meatball and onion. We ordered pizza here a couple times on our vacation (one can only eat lobster so many days in a row!) and it was pretty good both times. The crust was nice, the toppings were good, sauce was fine. All in all, they make a solid pizza. Much better than chain restaurants, but not quite as good as some of the New York -style places (of which, I'm not aware of any in this area anyway). We picked up our pizzas, which were hot and fresh right when they said they would be, so it seems like they have the timing worked out pretty well. Ordered the "Sampler", was not informed of one item being unavailable, the one thing we really wanted, and unilaterally replaced with a corn dog, which would not have been my choice. Having my phone number, they could have called. Rest of the items under cooked. When called, was informed "I can give you half off the next sampler". The sandwich ordered also came incomplete. Was told 30 minutes for delivery, started being concerned after an hour. Craving a lobster roll, I called College Carry Out and ordered their small. Y'all... a small is still about 8 inches and loaded with meat. I can't imagine the size of a large! I also found the price fair for what I got. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the roll, it was a bit dry and toasting it made it drier, so next time I may not get it toasted. I've been meaning to come here for years I drive-by over and over again and I see the sign that says lobster roll. Best around or Best in town. So today on my long 2 1/2 hour Monday commute--I decided today was the day. I walked through the front door and it was set up very well for ordering food. I was asked immediately if I was ready to order. Now if I were a regular and was ready to order I would have really appreciated the question. Being that it was my first visit I was slightly put off by the immediate request. I took a little bit of time to review the menu which is on the wall while the gentleman who asked if I was ready to order stared at me the entire time. They were all very fast-paced in the store. Everyone was working and moving around. So I understand his anticipation of my order. But dude! I want to read the menu. So I order a tuna club. And I ask if it is white tuna or light tuna. I am told it is the lightest tuna you can get without spending an arm and a leg, but it's not white. He offers chicken salad, "it's white" he says. OK smart ass; I'll have the chicken salad. Since I don't have time to read the whole menu because you laser beams are blinding me! Mr. Alert says it comes on a club roll or you can have it in a wrap. I opt for the roll thinking, "don't call it a club". As i'm waiting for the sandwich I get a chance to read more of the menu-I could have had it on bread toasted-[insert curse of choice here] "I'm too busy looking busy to understand the menu" guy is a bit checked out and not lovin' his job right now. The next time I'm just gonna look at the paper menu and avoid his gaze, gaze, gazing. The sandwich was very good. Plenty of chicken salad and diced onions. What can I say? The pizza was pretty good but it had peppers on it when I didn't order peppers. Then they said delivery was going to be 30 minutes and it took more than an hour. When I called I asked them why they didn't call me to inform me they were going to be over an hour and the girl lied to me and said they didn't take my phone number. Spend some weekends up in this area at a family members camp. First time trying this place and was happy we did. Their pizza was good and I def recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza. Since moving to Augusta over the summer/fall, we sought a good pizza delivery outfit. We swung and missed a couple of times (mediocre pizza and no delivery) before coming across College Carry Out. Their name suggests you have to go pick up your order, but wrong--they deliver within the city, and guess what: The pizza is excellent, the price reasonable, and you don't have to wait too long for it to arrive. Until I read some of the other reviews, I did not realize you apparently can dine in as well, so we'll have to try that sometime, and sample some of their other menu items. They have calzones but I haven't found strombolis yet (here's hoping). read more

When I visit Augusta this is the pizza place we hit. Solid pie an establishment that has served the community for many years. Owner is always is the store which leads to consistency in the product. I have ordered this same item from other stores and never gotten one as amazing as theirs. Their pizza is also an 8/10. We placed an order for our office at 10:15 am. The girl answering the phone had the personality of a wet mop. They told me it would be delivered in 40 minutes. An hour and 20 minutes we had nothing. I called and was told that they messed up the credit card #. Girl claims she tried twice to call.. My phone never rang. I confirmed that they had the right number and they did. They never called me. This is the worst place to get delivery ever. Ordered recieved food over 45 minutes late. Sandwiches were so soggy they could not be eaten. Frye were cold but overcooked and to hard to eat. Mozzerealla sticks were frozen in the middle. When contacted for a refund and to return the uneaten food the "manager" first told us they do not deliver to our area haha ok. So then we told them we wanted to return the food and were told we can't do that but could receive 50 percent off our next order. Hum no we will not be ordering again. She then proceeded to hang up on us twice the first time claiming she didn't hang up on us and the second time when I asked her to cancel the transaction she hung up again. I guess we will be going in tomorrow to speak to the actual business owner since we were not allowed to ask for the contact info.
