Trust the reviews! I found out about this brewery through the Down East Magazine. I saved it on my phone and decided to stop by one day on our way to Rockland. Located in what seems to be the middle of nowhere, this brewery is exactly our type of place; they had everything we look for in a brewery, including space. I love breweries, but I hate crowded breweries where you're shoulder to shoulder with other customers. Odd Alewives has the most spacious outdoor area -- with countless tables, benches, and lawn chairs -- where you feel like you're in someone's backyard. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and pet-friendly! The beers themselves were delicious. Their stout was phenomenal. Service was also top-notch. We told them a bit about our taste profile and they had great recommendations for us. We can't wait to go back.

These days its not that easy to find a nice place to grab a beer and relax without sipping through a mask. As we traversed north on US1 though there was a brewery we wanted to try, Odd Alewives Farm and Brewery. It wasn't too hard to find, and just a little off the main route. We walked into a nice farm like building and ordered our beers. It was nice customer service and friendly as all heck. We went out back where there was a large spacious area. and grabbed a couple chairs. The place was great with different types of hangout areas with a firepit for some or some reclined chairs like we grabbed. We could look out over a field to be side and some woods to the other. Not to mention excellent people watching in-between. We went back for a second round, being sure to try a couple different varietals of suds. There were some really tasty options. They served food as well, but we had a plan for dinner already so we resisted. Maybe next time though.

Beautiful setting, great beer, fun summer menu of light appetizers. I have a feeling it's super lovely in the Fall. Had the Odd Gem and Odd Spell. Both had a nice taste. Really enjoyed the Odd Spell! Will come again!

Fun place, great beer, food and service. One can't ask for more. We had the Mediterranean meal....Yummy and true to its authentic taste. We plan to return for the popular pizza soon! Highly recommended!!

Can't say much more than the other reviews. Great location and atmosphere with good and interesting beer. Highly recommend stopping here on a nice fall day.

Passing through town & searching for a relaxed dinner spot. We happened upon this place & were so glad we did! Beers & pizza were judged to be amazing by everyone's standards, and we had some hard-to-please members of our group. The outdoor & indoor seating options were lovely, this would be a great place to spend a leisurely evening! Only wish we had had more time to hang out!

This place is a hidden gem! The staff is super friendly, the beer is great, and the wood fire pizza is delicious. There is local wine as well and non-alcoholic beverages if beer isn't your thing. We built our own pizza: red sauce, pulled pork shoulder, pickles, with an orange drizzle finishing. It was amazing! We're definitely visiting again when in the area.

Delicious beer and pizza! Beer is made on premises. Pizzas are baked in a wood fired pizza. Yummm!

Driving through town and made a quick turn to check this place out. This is the cutest brewery I've been too. My farm ale was excellent.

Footbridge Brewery - Dan's ugly pretzel. I believe the story is, he was buying not quality and decided to "figure it out".. It's a solid app with three dips.

We ordered a flatbread pizza and then overheard our waitress tell others they were out of one of the main ingredients of our ordered pizza. Our waitress came back and said sorry we are out of flat bread so no pizza. We had a pretzel and a pickle flight. The pickles were good and the idea a neat one. I think the waitress did not want to be there as her first line to everyone after us was "the kitchen is backed up at least 30 minutes and we are out of many things". Not sure why the kitchen was backed up as the dinning room was almost empty. I had a coke and due to the backup I ordered another... no free refills of soda. Needless to say when the bill came and was $60 I asked her to review it since our main item was cancelled. The bill was correct. Never again.

Upon arrival we checked in and we were taken down to the property in a pickup truck- about a 20 minute drive from the beer garden. We were very excited to pet the cows when we arrived. There were about 20 cows and we got to learn about them and then we got to go into the pasture with them. The website states that you get to pet, groom and feed the cows. Additionally, it also says that you'll be able to interact with the calves. Unfortunately, during our trip, none of these things happened. We got to pet one friendly cow and feed them through the fence - hotdog buns. It was pretty disappointing as we drove over an hour to come. The website states you will go back to the barn and interact with the calves, but that did not happen ....After we got back to the beer garden, we did have lunch that was included with the tour and the food was decent. We ordered pizzas, beer and pulled pork sandwiches. Overall I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place as the price we paid did not reflect the experience. But I will mention the owner was extremely friendly and our tour guide was knowledgeable.
