Came here outside boothbay harbor on a Saturday afternoon. It is a brewery and RV park. A strange combo to be sure, but a fun place. It does not open until 3pm. We tried multiple 8 ounce pours until we settled on some 16 ounce beers. The staff were helpful in making our selections. We also the Margateria wood fired pizza. It was average. If it had been better I would give this place 5 stars. What is a great thing about this place is that you can bring your dog !!! And there were several different places to sit, each with its own energy. There was also live music- a single musician, but it added to the fun vibe.

*SUPER FUN SPOT!* Vibes are chill here. Vibes are on-point here. Not far from the tourist-y bay area...be sure to stop by this magical lil' brewery. Beers are yum. Food is fresh + locally sourced! Merch is also kewl. Had fun. Will be back. TIP: Be sure to consume the Thirsty Botanist - succulent New England style IPA.

We are staying here at their campground and just steps away from heaven! Great pizza, WINGS are amazing.. smoky.. moist.. get them naked.. simply delish! I love their Pilsner.. great beer. Well brewed and make a happy tongue! The campground is awesome!

Thirsty Botanist is my favorite beer. I couldn't miss the opportunity to visit its source. Had it not been raining this weekend, sitting outside would have been amazing. That said, the inside has a really cool vibe too. Dark tavern, lots of cozy spaces. Only grabbed a beer on our way to Wiscasset but looked at the menu. Definitely need to come back for lunch - and soon.

We had a lot of fun here on a Wednesday evening. Tip: you open your tab and can get beer to go at the main window. Then you pick up your draft beer around the corner at the pickup and reorder window. You order all food and refills at that window as well. When we got there they were only a few people there, but by the end of the night the place was packed. The bartenders were working really hard to get beers out and keep the line moving but there was often a few minute wait to grab a refill. I tried about 6-7 different beers on the menu and the best is the staple, Thirsty Botanist. There is an indoor area and an outdoor area which are completely separate. I highly recommend the outdoor area as the inside is more of a dark pub feel. Their small pours are pricey at $6-7 for 8oz. but they don't do flights so that was the only option until having a pint. I'd recommend going for the pints, double the beer for about $2 more. Glad we got to check it out. Food looked good but we didn't eat here.

Outstanding beer and food. Pretzel bites were excellent....I think they have a dab of rosemary on them. Delicious! Ken Brown ale was excellent as was my wife's lighter beer ( can't recall the name ). Pizza was excellent as was the burger. Cool thing they do...they burn their logo in the bun top. Very nice staff. People were very nice we met. There's a covered area outside to eat as we had a bit of rain on us. Just an overall excellent place to eat and drink. A little bit of a drive from "downtown" Boothbay (~2 miles), but well worth it. A 5 star, for sure. Cool poster, too, in the men's room.

    Great beer and atmosphere.

Crazy prices. $28 hamburger with fries. $22 for 6 wings. $9 beer. Everything was okay but cost way too much.

They have come a long way and look different in 2025 while still having a good amount of charm and uniqueness it had back then. As you could imagine by the name and the fact they opened in a former Naval Air Station they go heavy on the plane theme. Beer names especially and they offer a good variety of beer styles and have non-beer options for those not interested as well. I have enjoyed every visit including my many visits over the years here. The best time to visit is during the summer or at least nicer weather to fully enjoy their outside space. Arguably the best addition since their opening has been their food program. Think wood fire pizza and some other non-pizza offerings. My wife and I have had their pizza in the past and very much enjoyed it. This time though my wife got their Italian on Focaccia and I got one of their Chicken Bacon Ceasar sandwiches. Instead of typical bread it used a folded pizza dough and both our dishes tasted phenomenal. If you visit trying their food is a must, do not skip on it! Beer wise today we sampled four beers new to us. I got Wings their NEIPA & Vuelo Nocturno Mexican Lager while my wife got their Plane Beer American Lager and the Krösswind Kölsch. We enjoyed all four of them and we were glad to have found so many on tap we had yet to try! Flight Deck may not be an immediate thought when you think of Maine Breweries but they deserve recognition. Offering a well rounded variety of beers and other drinks along with some great food in a unique inviting space! Add it to your brewery bucket list!

There are so many seating options inside and outside, and the outdoor space is especially great. They have covered areas that keep you comfortable in rainy or cold weather, and there are always fun activities happening outside. The beer is consistently good. We haven't tried one we didn't enjoy. The pizza and sandwiches are also really solid and perfect for grabbing a quick lunch. The service is always fantastic. Every person behind the bar has been friendly and welcoming each time we've visited. One of the things we appreciate most is that they allow dogs inside. Our puppy loved relaxing while we enjoyed our food and drinks, which makes it such an easy spot for dog owners. The location on a former military base adds a really unique atmosphere, and they do a great job leaning into that theme with thoughtful details throughout. Overall, it's a great place with great beer, great people, and an inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend. Cheers!

Service has always been consistently great. Friendly, prompt, detail oriented and caring about our experience. We have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff members. They are hardworking customer focused team. Good with children and elderly folks. The food has been consistently good, temperature, quantity, flavors, textures and presentation. We have tried their burgers, pizza, bowls and appetizers. We really like their brussels sprouts, including our 3 and 6 year old family members. There's a wonderful sweet savory flavor, a nice crisp to the outside and very tender inside. The burgers and fries are very satisfying and flavorful. Most recently I discovered (realized) you can add mac and cheese to a burger. It was yummm!!! The wings, are plentiful, crispy and juicy. Be careful, because the internal temperature is VERY HOT when they first arrive. The past few times we have been the restaurant was very comfortable, not too cold or too hot. They have the ability to accommodate the 6 of us with ease on the times we have gone. This is definitely one of the core options when we are in town. Great for our whole family.

Some local friends said there's a new executive chef and that the food at Coastal Prime has…read moreimproved. unfortunately, I did not experience this to be the case - as I thought the food was outstanding the last time I dined here and our dinner was good but not amazing and there were a few issues. Maybe because their reviews have indicated poor service, we experienced over-service: the floor manager checked in with us three times to see how we were doing in a rather obsequious manner which was very off-putting. Our very friendly server checked in with us 15 times (!) so much so that it was a bit irritating as she kept interrupting our conversation. I think that's about 7-8 times too many check-ins over the course of a 1.5 hour dinner. Now to the food which was all VERY expensive: - popover and butter (complementary) - 4/5 - clam chowder - 3/5, $13 for a cup of chowder is a LOT to pay and while i did enjoy the flavor overall, there was an addition (not mentioned in the chowder description) of a swirl of chili oil on the side of the chowder. I did not mix it into the chowder and realized later when I had a burning sensation across the middle of my tongue that it likely from a line of chili oil. This was not a pleasant sensation and for a while I wondered if I was having an allergic reaction to the chowder. It subsided after about half an hour. I'm not sure why adding chili oil to New England clam chowder is a good thing and it also wasn't listed as an ingredient on the menu. If there had been no chili oil, I would have given the chowder a 5/5 for flavor. - 2025 Claw Down Winner Lobster Bite - 4/5, $18 is a LOT to pay for a tiny silver dollar pancake with some creme and a few bites of lobster on top. Maybe it's the caviar that drives that price but I did not think it was worth the cost (but it did meet my goal of having lobster every day in Maine) - goat cheese and peach salad - 5/5, I loved the tiny little fried goat cheese balls and the ratio of goat cheese to spring lettuce to peaches was good with a light dressing. I would have liked a little more greens and a little less radicchio in the spring lettuce ratio though. - halibut - 4/5, it was a sizable portion of halibut with mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. Half of the halibut was done well and flavorful, the edges composing the other half though was rather dry and lacking in flavor. Curious. - scallops - 5/5, five scallops which were very flavorful with a celery puree and three halves of a baby carrot. Delicious but minimalist for sure in its size and presentation. this was the best item we had along with the salad. Note 1: we saw all the other tables receive an amuse bouche which looked like a shooter of something but despite all the check-ins from the floor manager and our server we somehow did not receive the amuse bouche. Note 2: It was chilly so we changed our reservation last minute to move into the dining room as opposed to sitting on the deck, which we were very glad about as it did not appear they have any heaters on the deck which we definitely had in the past times we've dined on the deck when it wasn't even as cold as 60 degrees (as it was last night) For the price and over-service (my husband tried to avoid engaging with the floor manager for the third time when we exited the restaurant but we were intercepted), and good but not great food, I'm not sure we'll be making a point to return to Coastal Prime next time we're in town.
