The garden salad was fresh and crisp with homemade vinegarette. I'm not sure if the fries are hand cut, but they tasted like it, with lots of parm. My favorite was the bang-bang shrimp, which was a special. The shrimp (both time I had it) was cooked Perfect; I am often disappointed with shrimp in restaurants because it is so easy to over cook. Our second round of drinks was the spicy margarita for me and the same blood orange for him. The spicy margarita did NOT disappoint. The menu is about the size you would expect from a small kitchen - a fair number of appetizer dishes meant for sharing, and a handful of entrees, ranging from casual to a bit more refined. The grilled cheese and tomato soup ($19) was made with a hearty artisan bread that hit the spot on a chilly evening.
