First time trying "big Mac pizza" was quite splendid. I was sure how it would turnout, but one of their highest rating so I'd take a chance. I was worried the lettuce would be wilted but it came on the side so it was still nice and crisp. The sauce on my son's pizza was fantastic and properly portioned. I want to bring everything about Antigonis back with me to Boston - the customer service and love you feel during the entirety of your experience, the quality of the food, the PRICE of the food I got a $9 salad with grilled chicken and it was not only a salad I'd expect at a bistro (and not a pizza focused restaurant) but it was enough for two meals. The crouton pita sticks - uhm hello heaven - salty, crunchy, fluffy - all in one doesn't make sense. Sandwiches - amazing, pizza - chefs kiss - the sausage to die for. We've made this our pizza favorite place . Always great pizza and service. Only had one meal which was the steak and cheese sub that wasn't very good . Even tho we've had them many times there just one time it was off . Their fries are very tasty! read more

First time here , trying new places. Ordered 2 steak bombs to go. Went in to pick them up and they were in boxes. I've never seen subs to go in boxes. Didn't work out well as I had a 45 min drive home . The subs were average didn't see any green pepper. May have had onion and mushroom but couldn't see or taste it. Everything was brown and tasted the same . Clean place , friendly employees. Asked if they had a paper menu and they gave me a magnet with a QR code. Got a bag of chips with the price on it and they charged me a dollar extra . Got two desserts . The dessert was the best things of the order. Blueberry cheese cake . The food was ok . Nothing to write home about. Maybe this place is more known for the pizza ? read more

Growing up in NY I took good pizza for granted, then I moved to Maine 12 years ago and that all changed. I had seen this place quite a few times as it's across the street from my favorite store, so finally today I ordered some food and glad I did Just got the plain cheese pizza and a meatball sub . While the sub was good, it appears they make their own meatballs, but they use provolone instead of mozzarella , good, just different. The bread is perfect though. The pizza, while not quite NY style, no real crust to speak of, it is by far the best I have had in the 10 years I been in Maine. I'm seriously thinking of moving closer to Lewiston so I can get it more often haha Service was friendly and the place looks like a real pizza joint. Definitely check it out! read more

A very friendly place, with ample seating. It's a pizza type sandwich shop and well kept. We ordered one pizza, the Tuscan. The pizza toppings were tasty including balsamic vinegar and fire roasted peppers. The crust was bland and very similar to store bought dough. I have only been here twice and I already have a somewhat complex relationship with it. The 1st visit I ordered take out food because we were visiting my sister in the area. Unfortunately... we were in a significant car accident on our way to bringing my sister home and the food was not even an after thought. My 2nd visit, My wife and I brought our children for a family lunch while doing errands in the area. We found the pizza quite tasty and the appetizer sampler significantly sized and generous in French fries which our toddlers loved. The staff were friendly and polite both times and the service was what we needed it to be. Certainly somewhere I will give serious consideration to the next time I'm in the area and hungry. read more

I looked for a place to eat that I had not tried in Lewiston and was surprised at the freshness and quality of the food here! Don't let the neighborhood fool you, the Spinach Ricotta Canneloni and the Chicken Parm are delicious and among the best I have had! Well worth the trip. I will be going again. I thought I wrote a review when I went three weeks ago, but apparently I didn't! I went again last night, so here we go... I heard a lot of good things about the pizza so we had to check it out. We tried a small pepperoni and a Santorini salad. The pizza was pretty good. It's tasted a little doughy-in the Pizza Hut realm, so I would like to try a Large to see how that changes things. The salad, however, was spectacular! It was huge and delicious. Service was fine! They were very busy. Because this is a pizza spot, I gave it 3 stars with the potential of moving to 4 on a future trip. The salad was worth 4-5 stars-and only $7.50! Trip 2: The salad was so good that it was always on my wife's mind! So we decided to stop in for the same salad, remembering how it was plenty for both of us and a great deal. Also, I planned to love that salad and update my rating to 4 stars. But based on my experience, I'll keep it at 3. We arrived around 7pm and ordered the salad. It wasn't as busy as before, so I thought it wouldn't take too long to get the salad. By 7:30, with no sign of the salad, my "hanger" (hunger/anger combo) started to kick in. At 7:35, I asked for an update, and our salad was out shortly. However, it was much smaller than the last time we had it. In the end, I left a little hungry and disappointed that it took so long. I'll probably give Antigoni's another shot, one for the large pie, and one for the 3rd try salad....but my passion has wavered slightly! read more

Pretty good food for the money. The manicotti is really good but the Mac and cheese has little to no flavor despite it's appeal. The restaurant is super hot and stuffy inside and it seems quite dated. The place is quite clean, however, and again, the prices are really good. They also have above average pizza. I will definitely go back, but I just won't hurry back. read more

This place has the best cheesy breadsticks in town! The french fries have a crispy outside with a house seasoning generously sprinkled over the top. Pizza is also a hit with the kids. We prefer the Turner location! You better try the desserts they have....Italian limoncello and chocolate cake, all out of this world read more

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine, as well as my family, since I was a young child. The owners are wonderful, honest people who love their business and their customers and they know how to cook. Their staff is an excellent team that know how to cook as well. Their pizza is heavenly, and their fries are always cooked to perfection every time. I would recommend getting their breadsticks on the side of your order; they are cheesy and pair so well with the marinara sauce! I am so glad they are expanding across the state, everyone should be able to try this pizza! My favorite pizzas are their pepperoni and mushroom, along with the Oakland Fryer specialty. You won't regret this location at all. One bite, and you'll be coming back every time you crave pizza! read more

I cannot in good conscience give this place more than a 1 start rating. First of all, I called to place my order, 1 large pepperoni pizza and then asked how much a small order of bread sticks was. The man who answered the phone apparently didn't speak much English because he didn't understand what I was asking and had to pass the phone off to another lady, who finished with my order. When I arrived to pick up my order I was walking toward the door and noticed a giant spider Web in the corner of the entry way, not a big deal.. Then I went inside. I went to the counter and told them I had placed my order and I had my children pick a booth to sit at while we waited. My oldest said, "hey mom look, another spiderweb! And there is a spider in it!" As I went to look, I expected a tiny little spider... Boy was I wrong!! This was not a tiny spider and was inside, right next to the booth! I had my children move. We left with our food and went home. I wish I could say the food made up for what I saw but it was a complete disappointment. The pizza was dripping in grease and the "bread sticks" (which were actually cheese sticks) were plain and soggy. The only thing I enjoyed about this place was their use of small pepperoni instead of regular size. I've gone in and ordered sandwiches twice. Both times they were dropped. They tried to just fix them and give them to me. I had to make them redo them. Today I placed a phone order for 2 sandwiches. When I got them they were both incorrect. I called and spoke with the owner. She yelled at me and told me it was my fault and hung up on me. So I went in, a simple misunderstanding that could have easily been corrected. I got yelled at again by owner. I was told to never come back. read more

The pizza here is quite nice. The place has a small, 'New Jersey Pizzeria' style feel. Casual, but friendly. They have cold beer on tap, including Peroni, which is hard to find in Maine. Excellent. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and some kind of balsamic chicken pizza. The latter was tasty, but kind of sweet. The Buffalo Chicken was good n' spicy, with appropriate quantities of bleu cheese. There were jalapeños - my lower digestive tract did not thank me later that night. This is no doubt the best pizza in the area. Unfortunately, I had terrible customer service. When I called in to order the carbonara pizza, the woman taking my order was incredibly short with me. I had a few questions and wanted her to confirm my order but she hung up on me! When I arrived I obviously got the same lady because she was just as rude in person. The second I got to the counter she turned her back to me to do something. There was no "hold one moment please", or "I will be right with you", she just walked away. I work in customer service and have for years, so I get really annoyed when I have to put up with this. The food was a different story. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had. I love how they have a wide selection of white sauce pizzas, which is what my husband and I prefer. They obviously use fresh and good quality ingredients. If you like Greek pizza as much as I do, this is where you go. Greek pizza is VERY different from other types so if you try it for the first time, expect that. The proprietors are Greek people who are fluent in Greek and speak the language with Greek customers. I go here specifically to get real Greek pizza, which is my favorite.
