Oh, and Mary and Eric, working hard in the kitchen, have a great sense of customer service and fabulous humor, too.

The building is super cool as it's stainless steel everywhere. The service was excellent, I never had an empty glass. The menu is unlike anything I've seen in Maine and ever changing specials are must try. A little pricey, but worth it for the higher end experience. Bonus, they had nonesuch brewings maple cream ale that is quite possibly my favorite beer of all time now.

The flavors are beautiful, surprising and rare (at least in these parts) and very much welcomed. My first visit was to try the food, now it's the service that brings me back. It's a family and they welcome you with open arms. The ever changing specials menu keeps you on your toes and wanting more. It's adventures, exotic and sexy....yes, you heard me, the food is SEXY. This week, I was seconds away from proposing to a miso glazed black cod, before I realized that my or may not be frowned upon. It was silky, sweet and cooked beyond perfection. I paired it with Viberti Piemonte Filebasse, EXQUISITE. I can't say I've ever had a bad meal here, but I have had some better than others and this one stands alone.

More than just sandwiches, as they also serve up pasta, salads, and pizza. They also have calzones, but everyone knows that calzones are like pizzas, but they're harder to eat. They're dumb. #IYKYK ;) This is one of those places Carissa grew up eating on a regular basis, so I knew it was a "must try" when visiting her hometown of Lewiston. The Good: *Employee-owned since 2021 *Delivery and pickup available thru their website *Catering available *Friendly service *Whoopie pies are a must-get while here. The Peanut butter one was really good. *Street parking and private lot *The bread is really soft and good and comes from their own bakery. The Meh: *Overall the sandwich was good, but nothing mind-blowing. I do like the obscene amounts of veggies on the sandwich, tho. The Ugly: *Putting oil on a sandwich is still pretty weird to me, but hey, you do you, boo. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Conclusion: Good sandwich, friendly service, and don't forget the Whoopie pies!

Our waitress never once checked on us--we had to flag her down every single time, which made ordering drinks and food a chore rather than a relaxing night out. But honestly, the worst part of the night wasn't even the service. It was the fact that a couple brought their newborn to the bar and stayed from 8 PM to midnight. With loud music blasting, they passed the baby around and parade it around on the dance floor, never feeding the child once, but had no problem changing it on the air hockey table. It was disturbing to watch, and frankly, it made the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. A bar is no place for a newborn, especially late at night in that kind of environment. The only saving grace of the night was the band, Trans Am--they were absolutely phenomenal. They put on a great performance, but unfortunately, the energy in the bar was completely off. Nobody was dancing or really engaging with the music, which was a shame because they deserved a much better crowd. If management allows this kind of thing to happen, I don't see myself coming back. There are plenty of other dive bars that at least provide decent service and an environment where I don't have to question someone's parenting choices all night
