Otherworld definitely gave me "Stranger Things" vibes. With it's low light surroundings, you kind of felt as if you were in the Upside Down. The museum is definitively an unique otherworldly experience to be had. There are several rooms with different artistic approaches. Upon entering, we were told that the museum is made to be interactive, so you are allowed to touch everything and can take as many pictures without the flash. My advice would be to at least go through all the areas twice, so once you can actually see and interact with the objects and the next time you can get all your photo ops in, which there are plenty of! My disappointment was that although it is more of an interactive and unique museum to others, I thought it could have had a bit more interaction involved. An example of interactive is an area where you can make music by light sensors (use the flash on your phone FYI). My favorite room had to be the glow in the dark one with the swings, those were some super comfy swings. Also, make sure to go through everything and not be afraid to go under and between things as there is something on the other side. I thought the cost is a bit pricey at $22 for 12+ and $18 for 3-12. You are actually able to get done with the tour within two hours. It would have been nice if they offered some discounts, especially for students. I feel younger kids and students would really enjoy this the most. Overall, a different one time experience to be had. My honest rating is 3.5/5 stars. read more

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! I first fell in love with these museums after trying out Meow Wolf Omega Mart in Vegas and even though they may not have the same owners they are extremely similar and that is a good thing. This isn't some knock off version, this one stands on its own as different and fun. They're are so many secret exits and and a story and SO MANY ROOMS. I loved it. My only issue was they were many times I nearly knocked someone down because of the tight corners and halls but either way it's still a great place. Otherworld was, well, otherworldly. Apologies if that description of the place is already overused. But it's true. Somebody must've had some cocktail of drugs paired with never growing up. And why should they? This experience is the perfect meld of an artist's dream, a cartoonist's story and modern-day application to the instant gratification generation. Entrance fee is a bit steep to start with, but I actually don't mind the $25 to support whatever local artists dreamed this up. I imagine their biggest expense is rental of the space. Otherwise, it seems staffed entirely by teenagers who are probably getting minimal wages. That said, the vibe is unpretentious and totally chill. Even during Covid it was not bothersome to be here. They require masks and have hand sanitizer stations spread throughout; a great idea even without Covid because there are so many interactive things that many people are touching. I get a sense of inspiration from all over that went into making this place. I can see influences from Avatar, Predator/Alien, Adventure Time, among other movie and cartoon franchises. Not to mention probably a few video games. If you want to dedicate more time and understanding, there seems to be some kind of hidden mystery game with clues scattered throughout. Almost like an escape room without the pressure. All in all, it was a seriously fun time. Hours are wide open compared to the usual for "standard" museums. Very cool experience. A bit out of the way unless you live in Pickerington but worth the trip. An immersive journey through a variety of different rooms, each with a slightly strange theme. Nothing overwhelming and it works for all ages; I would imagine. We brought our 15- and 18-year olds and they enjoyed it. I'm guessing little kids would get a kick out of it, though some areas my be a bit unnerving for younger kids. My daughter is already planning to return with her friends. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was getting pretty busy when we left. I would guess it's just packed on Friday and Saturday nights, as experiencing this with a couple of drinks or something a bit more potent would be freaky. People working there were very nice and the facility itself was very well designed. Cost is about 20 per, but worth it. You can order tickets beforehand but I'm not sure it's necessary. Reading other reviews now, I'm seeing that there are a couple of puzzles scattered throughout. We saw some interesting themes across rooms but didn't piece it together. This place was right up my alley. I went here with my Boyfriend for my birthday . It's all self guided , you can roam about for however long you want ! Many many different rooms and passageways to get to each place. BE INTERACTIVE! Touch stuff push buttons ,look under the bed ..... trust me . I had a hard time deciding whether this is a 4 or 5 star experience as I'm basing it on a lot of different factors in my review. To start off, I had never heard of "The Otherworld" until mid Sunday when I saw a cool picture of my friend here and wondered what it was all about. I proceed to ask my husband if he knows about it and he says, "yes, there is one similar to this in Japan." He never would have thought something like this would hit Columbus. The pro's, so it's in the East side of Columbus off Brice Road in the Chantry Drive plaza area. So basically they bought a cheap area which looks like it used to be a Value City or something next to Staples and all these other stores back in the day. They made it their own version of an interactive experience with colorful walls, decor, mirror rooms, magical tree, etc. Visually, it was wonderful. Con's, not enough marketing about this place. They didn't ask us for our e-mail address, which most places do. In addition, they thought they were the only location to have this when we know they are all over the world. Also, they aren't opened Monday's and Tuesday's but made an exception for just Memorial Day. Ticket prices were a bit hefty being $22 per adult and I think kids were free. Although we wanted something to do, so we drove all they way here which took about 35 minutes from our house on the West side of Columbus. If you want something to do that is unique in Columbus, check out The Otherworld. If my friend who flew here all the way from California just for Memorial Day weekend knew about it, so should local Central Ohioans. I'm usually not so lost for words. And the ones I do have are things like "wow" and "oh my god." Do: Take your time. Do a double, triple lap. There is so much for your eyeballs to absorb. Don't: Stare at your phone. Sure, take a picture, a video. But if you're paying 25 dollars (worth it) then don't sit on the multitude of seats scrolling through the interwebs. Looking at you, teenagers. Do: Touch things. All of the things. There's plenty of sanitizing stations throughout and things do stuff. Top secret stuff I'm not going to spoil. Only down side is it's a bit pricey, so take your time going through each room and really explore, interact and take in all of the wild displays. What a fun surprise in my 'neck of the woods'. I have heard of this place a few times, but it's been out of site, out of mind. The first thing I LOVE about this place, it found a home in a vacant/abandoned building (on old office max, I believe). I came here on a double date for a halloween outing with 0 expectations.... so, there's no way I could be disappointed ;-)... I certainly wasn't! There's room after room of oddities and interactive displays. Our group had a great time doing the clue hunt to find a mythical girl.... ending with most intriguing room --- a room so exquisitely lit to transport you into a black and white film. It's SO trippy and make you questions yourself. I'm actually quite envious of the minds that have been able to design such a place... you can spend hours wandering around. Like another mentioned, it's an installation, so it may not be such a marvel more than once or twice. Overall, I think this place is worth it... even if you have a bit of a drive to get to it. read more

The hype is a bit much here imo, pics and reviews make it seem a little more interesting than reality. My biggest gripe is that I wish it was more on the interactive side. It's more museum-esque than interactive experience. You go room to room basically looking to see what's cool. The group I went with walked through everything in about an hour, not the quoted 2-3 hours online. For the price of $23 not super worth, an interesting experience I can say I've done now but it was just alright. I am also biased because I've been to a similar place (which I find oddly similar here and where Otherworld probably drew some inspiration...) but the other place had a story with clues that was more immersive, giving greater cohesion to the rooms and the experience overall. I know Otherworld is still relatively new, but I hope they incorporate new aspects to the exhibits to increase the likelihood of repeat visits. read more

AWESOME TIME!! We took a drive from louisivlle to come visit otherworld on a weekend and I am so glad we did!! This place is a visual art playground for any age! There are tunnels and little hidden labyrinthine like areas to different areas which was super cool. It takes about 40 minutes to fully get through the gallery and there are a ton of interactive areas so you can really become one with the art!!! The tickets were very affordable and everyone at the venue was helpful, nice and polite. They were great about sanitizing areas and wearing mask. We would love to come back for one of the DJ parties and I would highly suggest anyone who loves art and fun to see otherworld!! read more

A bunch of friends and peers recommended Otherworld as a fun activity so I got two tickets for a Saturday afternoon. Disclaimer is that is definitely wasn't for me, but with that being said it could be exactly what someone else may love. It's a transformed, interactive and "otherworldly" space in an abandoned shopping center which is pretty cool. Tickets are $25/person on the weekend and you can stay as long as you like. There are plenty of rooms and exhibits to explore so you may end up spending a lot of time here, but we only stayed for about 45 minutes. I think 3pm on a Saturday is high time to bring young kids so the place was packed. I found the exhibits to be designed for younger kids so if you are planning to take kids here, that's great. It overall wasn't something I would do again and honestly could have skipped altogether. With that being said there is so much thought and effort put behind the exhibits and museum and someone else may enjoy Otherworld more so I gave it 4 stars! read more

Otherworld is a fun interactive experiences for adults and children. Great places to get Instagram pictures, and it's a type of place that makes for interesting shots if you have a camera that can take advantage of the dim lighting. Soon as you enter the exhibit it's a little dark and that darkness theme kind of stays throughout the whole exhibit. You can touch all the arts in every single room. My favorite room was with the glow in the dark light installation with the swings. The swings were pretty cool and comfortable. There were many other rooms with giant funny monsters, inflatable orbs, Stranger Things like laboratories, psychedelic rooms and much more. It was cool to be able to go in different paths and see where you would end up next. Its $22 to get in for adults. They do not give discounts, unless you have a group of 20 + people. Once you buy the tickets you can return at any time during the day of your visit, as many times as you like. Just keep the wrist band on you. This place has something for all ages. We were done with the whole experience in about 2 hours. There is definitely effort and skill that went into creating a place like this. I just wish that the experience was a little deeper and more immersive. This place has a lot of potential to be absolute incredible. Some art was creative and others was just plain stupid. The place was FULL of teenagers. I recommend going early if you can. They have timed slots for Covid however you can stay as long as you wanted so I think they were over capacity. Staff and people were wearing masks and plenty of hand sanitizer. I have been wanting to come here since I heard that it was opening years ago. I love immersive art experiences. Meow Wolf in New Mexico kicked off my love for places like this Otherworld, while still a bit of a drive to get there, is a great, more local place to explore. It is weird, a bit creepy, funny, and a great time. You have to purchase your tickets online beforehand or on a kiosk there. The staff explained there was no climbing, which was honestly a little confusing because there were spaces and thing inside that were clearly build to be climbed on. Some rooms have fun puzzles to try to solve, and there was a bit of story to follow. I could have spent so much more time there than the 2 1/2 hours but we needed to leave to get lunch. weird and mesmerizing. There is a storyline and a plot if you read the text. There is some kind of plot related to symbols and glyphs. You can read through some of the emails on the computer and the scattered texts throughout. I especially enjoyed the "museum displays" and biological lab with the fake figurines. The choice of books, where you can find them, was very tasteful and relevant to the mood. My guess is that you can do something with the cloud room by pressing the symbols in a certain order. I was there for about 90 minutes. Very much worth a visit. I didn't expect something like this in Ohio. It was $20, which to me seemed inexpensive for the type of thing that this place offers. Some rooms are crowded but there is hand sanitizer everywhere which I kept putting on after touching buttons and things. The only thing is that some of the things seemed less clean. For example the pink furry things in the room with the cave seemed slightly crusty, and I wouldn't really want to sit on anything "fuzzy" at this place, because it's so dark and hard to tell what is really clean. read more

My friend and I came to this exhibit as a 3 hour detour. Nonetheless, you can say it was a very intentional trip to see what this interactive museum had to offer. Upon arrival it is massive. The staff is friendly and encourage you to be very curious. There was a lot of children there, but I think it would be over stimulating and in some rooms scary. Super fun, interactive art. We were only there about an hour and a half but could have stayed longer. I'm not good at wearing a mask while doing physical activities (on my hands crawling through room tunnels) for long periods. They check your temp and have hand sanitizer everywhere. I wish places like this had an adult hour...or better yet a 16 and up day. Stroller moms and 8 yr olds that just shove in front of you really takes away from the fun. That said this place is awesome. First off, such an awesome place! Highly recommend! I was interested to see how things would be with COVID but they did a great job. First, you must wear a mask. Second, there's hand sanitizer stations EVERYWHERE. Seriously, in every corner and room there is one. I'm glad the museum is still interactive, which is the beauty of it. Otherworld is such a neat experience! It's akin to Meow Wolf (which Otherworld did not rip off, by the way, MW excitedly supported Otherworld opening!), with so many interactive rooms, sights, and even hidden lore and puzzles. Admission is about $22 I believe, though there are senior, military, group, and children's discounts. Ordering online makes it as easy as showing a QR code, and you get your wrist bands. Staff is extremely friendly and approachable; they'll give you great hints if you're stuck on puzzles, or want to know where a certain room is. Box Office gives a good, quick rundown of locations of bathrooms, the entrance, and informs that you can stay in there as long as you please. Box Office will also hold bags/strollers/etc for you if you don't feel like bringing them in. Not every room is interactive, but many have at least a few things to touch, minimum. This can range from tapping projections on walls, hitting drums, to checking computers with Lore-related (and clue related, hint-hint) emails, videos, and photos! The puzzles are not necessary to enjoy your visit, but it's something else to add on to the experience! Most areas are permanent, but some art/rooms will change out, or new things will be added over time! Good for children and families, though note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during the visit. Also note that a couple rooms here and there may be slightly creepy (nothing too bad!), so keep that in mind with smaller children. For the more adult crowd, they host amazing EDM events after hours sometimes; check their website to see when these are happening. As a final note, you can get plenty of good photos here to share with friends as well! I personally took some in costumes (which are allowed and encouraged)! It is slightly expensive, but it's a great repeat visit, especially if you're also an artistic type; that helps you see even more of the love, details, care they put into this (which is why I feel maybe some find it somewhat lacklustre). I was just watching other people and knew that they knew something we didn't. So I turned to handy internet. No shame here. What I like most is that they're handicap friendly... The wheelchairs were free of charge as they should be. The Cincinnati zoo even charges for a wheelchair and I find it a crime. Wow! What an experience. First things first, when you arrive at Otherworld, you'll notice that you are in what appears to be a post-apocalyptic suburb (abandoned Best Buy, abandoned Target, empty parking lots)... and then there's Otherworld. On a Saturday during the daytime, this place was hoppin'. Otherworld is an immersive art experience. They made it clear that there is no right or wrong way to experience Otherworld and we could explore it at our own pace and in whatever order we like. My largest complaint about the experience were the children. It felt like most parents let their kids run around as they pleased. As a result, there were many times when it was difficult to enjoy the experience (I almost made this a 3-star review for this reason alone). I would not return to Otherworld during the day when children are allowed. Having said that, Otherworld does bring in DJ's and EDM artists to perform in the evenings - I would definitely love to return in a more adult atmosphere. This place is big enough to hold a crowd, it's just not enjoyable when the crowd isn't old enough to be considerate of other people. My biggest advice to you before you come to Otherworld would be to make sure your phone is fully charged. You're going to want to take advantage of all the great photo-ops and you won't want a dying phone to hinder those instagram likes. The staff was very friendly and for the most part, the space is clean. Though, my friend did sit in a bean-bag chair, notice it was wet (see note about too many kids above), and immediately jump out of it. We didn't sit in any of the other bean bag chairs throughout. tl;dr: DEFINITELY come see Otherworld. I had to convince my wife to check this place out. We had some time without the kids and I had been wanting to see this "exhibit?" before it's too late. As far as I know it's not going anywhere, but you just never know! So I convinced her under the premise that if not today, then we may never see it, and that it would be a unique memorable activity if nothing else! Well, we were not disappointed. It definitely fit the bill. It feels odd to drive into here, because it's in a seemingly-abandoned shopping center, surrounded by streets of other abandoned shopping centers. I know that a more natural place for such neat unique place of business would be some trendy downtown area, but maybe just maybe they can keep the cost of admission down this way (or just save a lot of money in general by repurposing a former department store in an empty shopping center). So whatever. Besides driving there, my experience was not impacted by it's location. I just might be more hesitant to go there at night without anything or anyone else around... From the moment we walked in, we agreed we were in for something unique. My wife wanted to know why there was a cafe there. I explained that once you buy a ticket, you can come and go all day. Therefore, people might want to walk through some or all of the rooms, come get a coffee and/or a snack, then go back in. I don't know that I'd exercise that option, but I did appreciate the vegan and gluten-free options there for those that need/want it. We weren't given much of any guidance in entering the rooms, so we just took an exploratory attitude and started walking wherever. AS soon as we entered, we veered right into the laser light/computer rooms. After going through all of the rooms, that appears to be a natural starting point for some reason. Every room has it's own unique personality. Hardly any of them fit together (barring very few exceptions). It's not surprising to learn that 100 different artists put this whole thing together, because of how much variety you will find. There is definitely something for every type of person to enjoy and appreciate. A note about young kids: I can not see taking my young daughters here quite yet. I figured that out from reading reviews and looking at pictures before we went. Ours are easily frightened, so it wasn't worth the stress and risk. There are definitely several rooms they would have loved to see, but we didn't even bother showing them pictures afterward because then they would want to go! There is plenty of scary imagery that could be taken right from a haunted house or a horror film. But that's part of the charm- this creepy, weird, yet colorful, artwork. We both agreed that we enjoyed the fact that we weren't just walking through rooms of pieces of art. The rooms WERE the art exhibits. Some of them connected their themes to other rooms. There are places to crawl through, sit down, touch walls for effect, or just lights or projectors to watch. A few things are interactive, but it would be a stretch to call this whole thing an interactive exhibit. I would say there are a few places to interact, but not a whole lot. I have to admit the rooms with laser lights and mirrors were definitely my favorites. Not just for the photo ops. I would recommend for everyone to try this place at least once. I am nto sure if it was a revisit quality to it, but I think it'd be cool to attend a special event here. Maybe dinner and drinks? I saw that have DJs and dancing sometimes, but I think that might be a bit outside of my wheelhouse. Be careful bringing sensitive children in. Otherwise, most everyone could enjoy this. read more

A good friend and I met up at Otherworld on Saturday afternoon, after reading about the venue online and hearing from a few friends its a cool place to check out in Columbus. We met for lunch at another venue nearby and then drove to deserted shopping center, the whole center, which looked to have a Target at one time and Office Depot/Staples, etc is where you can find Otherworld. We walked in paid our $23 per person with tax and ventured into Otherworld, wasn't exactly where to start, so walked in the area, with the red tentacles then you're presented with which room to walk into, its like a choose your own adventure, not sure where you're going next. My friend commented its like they let a bunch of art students create the place, artist A take this room, artist B take this room and so on. It would have been nice to know more about each room's theme/artist to find out more about their objective for the room. I enjoyed the few rooms with light/mirrors. There were variety of families with some kids running around, while others exploring together. My friend commented it would be a great place to bring her nieces to check out when they were in town. We walked through in about an hour, we walked back and through a few rooms several times to make sure we checked out everything. I don't think the admission is worth $23, $10-15 at the max. I do admit it is a creative use for a vacant shopping center, would be great to find out if rooms will be changing on an ongoing basis to make it worth a return visit, otherwise just one visit fine with me. read more

This place way way cooler than I thought it would be. Usually I'm quite underwhelmed, especially if I pay good money. But I can assure you--otherworld is 100% worth it. Upon arrival, the staff at the check-in counter were super friendly and engaged (something I find refreshing bc typically people don't enjoy being at work when ppl they're checking in are about to have more fun that they are). Then we entered the attraction and it was so immersive. Everything was interactive--even things we didn't expect to be. My favorite rooms were those with the light installations. Or maybe the fur room? Oh, or the rooms with the smart walls and floors. Actually, I can't decide. There were even some connectivity between rooms--something someone were to touch in one room would set off an effect in another. The thought behind this place is palpable. Everything was well-built, not like those cheap, one-month-long art shows or haunted houses. The artistry and craftsmanship that it took to produce these rooms goes far--perhaps otherworldly? We went on a Sunday evening, since a lot of stuff in Columbus closes early on Sunday. But Otherworld is open til 8pm. Do yourself a favor and visit. Otherworld is a fun, somewhat interactive experience for adults and children alike hidden in a deserted strip mall. You'll see people posing for Instagram pictures here, and it's the type of place that makes for interesting shots if you have a camera that can take advantage of the dim lighting. I'm torn a bit here, because I've been to the place that Otherworld seems to be desperately trying to copy. Meow Wolf in Santa Fe comes off as more genuine, more arty, and better and "more" in every respect, and invites repeat visits because of its complexity and attention to detail (we've been 3 times for about 8 hours total and will go back again). Every square inch of Meow Wolf has been carefully designed for artistic effect. But Santa Fe is a long way away, and most people won't have that comparison in their minds to be disappointed. As others have said, Otherworld isn't the type of place you'll feel the need to come back to again and again. My husband and I went through slowly and still finished under 2 hours. We don't feel the need to ever come back. There's not a lot of depth here, and we saw the two active puzzles solved and the result was not exactly mind-blowing. I even solved one completely by accident. As an example, one very large room is essentially filled with long white tentacles of inflated parachute material on a simple concrete floor. The only other decoration you see is a center console of some sort which is staffed by an employee to explain and shed light on some of the puzzles they set up, but the console was still confusing and didn't invite further exploration. Another room full of identical looking computers and screens only had a few that were interactive, and on one of those the sound wasn't working. Other rooms were interestingly painted but there was literally nothing else to grab your attention. Otherworld also relies heavily on projected images on blank walls, some of which are interactive. I got the impression that a lot of what they were doing was just finding inexpensive ways to use up the massive space they have rented. There is some impressive art around, and just enough interactivity to keep children entertained. I feel like this is more of a selfie trap, where people can go to get some interesting pictures. We did see a professional photographer and model on a photo shoot, and I'm sure the pictures will be interesting. It's worth a trip, and would be fun and unusual place for a date or for kids. I appreciate the effort and skill that went into creating a place with nonstandard art, but I just wish the experience was a little deeper and more immersive. I still hope people come out to see it. I was not sure what to expect going in, but I just found the whole experience to be majorly underwhelming and not that interesting. The night we went, it was filled with screaming children and teenagers who looked stoned. When we arrived to a totally abandoned old strip mall where it is located, I knew the place was no Disneyland. The themed rooms varied from cool to bizarre to very creepy. My favorite was the "narwhal" room and lying in the furry belly of the whale. This was literally warm and fuzzy. That was the only really feel-good part for me. Worth every penny. Every room you enter you don't know what to expect. I had so much fun. Kudos to all the artists.

We were staying in Columbus and I was desperately trying to find something to do on a Friday night. I somehow found Otherworld, and it was the BEST immersive experience that I have ever went to. At first I was worried that it would be like Candytopia and be over in a 10 minute walk but it's so much more. Great for photos but even better for exploring. Highly recommend! read more

TOTALLY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We've seen the pictures before going and they didn't do it any justice. This place is drop dead amazing. So many things to see, hear, touch and the clues to solve the puzzles. Very cool. My only criticism is seeing the young ladies pose, lay and use things as props for their " sexy" photos.That kinda made it hard for families to enjoy certain area. But aside from that? This was an experience, and there's not another good way to describe it. You enter what looks like a deserted strip mall with one lone building at the end of the lot that isn't deserted. It's unassuming. Immediately on walking in, you're in a large open space. Massive projections show on geometric cut outs above, all the walls are painted black, and it lives up to it's name, feeling like another world. When you enter the actual rooms, you can go one of many directions, and each room has it's own feel. There were about 30 people who walked in right when they opened, and it never felt overcrowded In fact, it wasn't unusual to walk into a room and find you're the only one there. There are Easter eggs hidden throughout. For example, pluck the right strands on a spider web to make a song. Tap the projected blocks on the wall to see them explode in a burst of light. Get three people in the stasis pods and see what happens. The staff is fun, kind, and just want everyone to have an amazing experience. They said it's an ongoing project, and they'll give rooms make overs and expand as time goes on. It was easy to spend 45 minutes here and enjoy all the rooms. With kids or someone who wants to examine all the details, you could easily be here longer. Check it out! read more

Quite an interesting art experience awaits you at Otherworld. Ever the art fan, I leaped at the chance to purchase pre~sale tickets, which WAS stated to include an advanced opening, however, due to inspection~related delays did not materialize. Because I purchased the advanced tickets for that purpose, 1 star has been deducted as I was counting on what was promised at point of purchase. I fully understand and appreciate the extensive inspection work needed for this unique venture, but did feel disappointed in having the pre~sale offer not honored. The exhibit itself is a sight to be seen for sure, but I can't see myself making a return visit as I was sure to slowly enjoy and capture each of the 40 rooms the first time. I clearly enjoyed some of the rooms (lighted mirror rooms, magical tree area, sound impacts visuals rooms) better than others which I felt a bit immature. Overall, I feel that the art definitely skews to the younger generation, but I enjoyed it for how eclectic it was. There are many adjoining spaces, so you may need to double back to make sure you don't miss any of the action. I also did this when I found rooms too busy for picture taking. We went on Memorial Day and found it wasn't too busy, which is the experience I was hoping to find. In terms of crowds, I saw on Facebook that adult only opportunities are in the works, so you might want to take advantage of that. Keep in mind that they are typically closed on Mondays. There is plenty of parking as this is located in a now empty stripmall on the far east side, near where Scarborough Mall used to be. Bathrooms are only at the entrance, so keep that in mind before you begin your journey because there is much to discover. Now that pre-sale tickets have ended, tickets are $22, but those passes are good for an entire day and allow for reentry. We were told that we could even nap in the rooms. Lol. It looks like Otherworld is going to continue to grow based on what staff said and I saw where a concession area is in the works. read more

There are some neat art installations at Otherworld. While it has been labeled a "hands on" experience, we couldn't grasp where that came from. There are surfaces to touch and feel, and single buttons to push, but nothing ever happened. It's essentially a giant dark room with colored lights all about. The flow is pretty good, would be a bonus if there were a map to make sure you see it all. But, maybe that's their advantage, to bring customers coming back. The giant tree was cool, and I liked the unicorn fish room - makes you wanna be a kid again. Worth $22 for an adult? No. I would have gladly paid $10, but feel that the experience and room installations don't match the price point. read more
