This was a fun night out. I made a reservation for 9:30pm to enjoy the 21+ environment. Checkin was a breeze and once we activated our wristbands we were off to the bar. There are a few craft drinks or you can stick to a classic as well as beer and nonalcoholic options. After we grabbed our drinks we were off to enjoy 90 min of a lil fun competition. There wasn't a ton of people so we were able to navigate to the various games with ease. We made one round and then went back to our fave games. We didn't stay the full 90 min because there just wasn't that much to do but still a fun and affordable date night.

We didn't know what this is and asked people in line. They were very enthusiastic and convinced us to go it. As the name implies, there's many worlds inside. I love the creativity artists put in to create these many worlds. Amazing. I'm glad we went. Bought our tickets online and it was a breeze going in. Just have to check in and get a bracelet.

We had a lot of fun here finding the hidden passages and secrets! We went in super blind and that kind of was a bummer since we felt kind of lost and reading some more reviews I realize we missed out on some cool parts of the experience. That being said we did still have a great time and we were there for just over an hour.

This place is just too cool. I went for the first time recently for a concert. I had a good idea of what to expect, as I've been the Meow Wolf in Denver, which is very similar and I believe connected to Otherworld in some way. The fact that they serve as a concert venue on top of their regular immersive art experience is pretty rad. The space is huge and it took me quite a minute to get the lay of the land. Every twist and turn you take you find something new to explore. I loved the interactive elements, like the computer room that will randomly Rickroll you. There's so many photo opps I lost count. As for the concert, the sound was great, and I had an absolute blast. A few things to note... Parking was super easy as there is a huge, free lot right out front. Getting through security was a breeze. The bathrooms were super clean and fully stocked. The staff was friendly and the lines to get a drink were never too long. I've heard that they oversell the space a lot, and while the show I went to was sold out (Ahee), it wasn't an issue at all. I can't wait to come back to experience the place in it's normal state. I also have no doubt that I'll attend another show here. Have fun!

Our last trip here was in 2019, with a 9 month old and 3 year old in tow. What a cool repeat experience at 9 and 6! A few new exhibits plus some favorite memories. We spent about 2.5 hours, first generally exploring, then returning to favorite places. My kids love the hidden paths. This isn't a every quarter kind of place...but I can see us back in a year or 2, or touring the Philly location next time we are out that way. Well worth the admission fees!

We needed something to do while visiting my aunt and this did not disappoint. We solved 2 of the 3 puzzles. My teenage boys were very entertained. It was clean and didn't feel too crowded. A good value for the fun!

Awesome experience-great for all ages, unique and many different fun passageways and hidden areas $155 for 5 of us

This place was a fun time. We went for my birthday a couple years ago. They have alcohol you can buy while you walk around the building. It was a really cool experience and I hear they change it around to give you a new experience. We maybe spent an 1.5 hour total there. It's kind of pricey but it's something to see at least once. I could see kids and adults both enjoying it.

A cool interactive art museum in Ohio. Near Reynoldsburg this is a bit of a drive for anyone staying in Columbus but worth the visit. At $31 it was a little steep for something that didn't take me more than an hour to go through and we went at quite a busy time with a lot of other people. I definitely enjoyed the rooms that were more enclosed which felt more immersive. I've been to a handful of interactive immersive museums and this fits the vibe. I think something that takes away from the experience is being able to see the exit signs or the ceilings. The other ones I've been to in Tokyo and Barcelona are much more immersive. Art is subjective but some of the rooms felt like an art kids installation project. It's great that this is kid friendly but unfortunately kinda took away from my own experience. It just felt really crowded. I appreciate all the time and energy that went into each room and it was an unique, fun experience.

I came back to this place again to do the museum part of it. And it was incredibly enjoyable, and trippy on the eyes but in a good way. Would recommend if you want good vibes and a head trip.

We were in town for a concert and looking for something to do before heading home, and I kept getting ads for this so we decided to check it out. Well worth the hour or so we spent here. As many reviewers have commented, an "interactive art experience" is probably the best way to describe it. Every room is a little different with some hidden passageways connected rooms in neat ways. It's touted as family friendly, but the whole thing gave me Stranger Things vibes, so I don't imagine that *my* kids would have enjoyed this at all -- some of the rooms are dark (these can be avoided) but there's still an inherent creepiness to almost all of the rooms. Not that this is a bad thing, just something to know beforehand - it's all Otherworldly for sure, but sometimes in a cute way and sometimes in a creepy way. Just know what you're getting into. It was a slow evening when we went in the middle of the week, so we moved through things pretty easily and didn't really see too many other people - maybe every 3 or 4 rooms we'd bump into someone else, but we mostly explored alone. The puzzles weren't too appealing to us, but maybe we've missed it. Overall I thought this was a great deal for only $30 per ticket. Plenty to do for the price.

This place is trippy. We were visiting Columbus for a comic con and heard from locals that this is a big tourist spot. We were a little skeptical because it is in the middle in an abandoned shopping center. Seriously, this was the only thing that was opened. The inside was amazing. There were so many things to look at. This museum is very interactive. If there is one thing to do in Columbus, go here!

It's a FANTASTIC attraction, one I wish was close to my home! We did a day trip to visit... but it was still beyond worth it! Honestly, the price tag for the value is actually cheap, at least if you really soak in the atmosphere and the vibes from room to room. Moreso if you spend half a day and solve all the puzzles yourself! A pretty massive walkthrough art exhibit, or maybe 'experience' is a better descriptor. There are puzzles throughout, hidden hallways and crawl spaces, and creativity oozing out of every inch of the space! I'll put it this way, the pictures don't do it justice. The soundscapes they developed for the sections and rooms are absolutely fantastic, too!!!

How does this compare to Meow Wolf? Anyone that's been to both care to share?

This is pretty similar to Meow Wolf, however, the size of Otherworld is maybe about 1/3 to 1/2 as big. This place is a little less interactive as you can solve a "mission" at Meow Wolf and given "boop cards" to use around the place to access files… Read more

    Are bags allowed inside?

    Most bags/backpacks are fine.

Should you purchase tickets in advance for Saturday afternoon visit?

No, it wasn't busy at all when we went on a Saturday.

So good, in fact, that I kind of thought he was actually drunk instead of just pretending. But, he wasn't. He was very funny, helpful, and definitely added to the experience we had. The adventure itself was challenging, but not too challenging. We got out with 8 minutes to spare and felt that all of the clues made sense and ultimately led to our success. I was surprised by the cleverness of the clues and just how much fun we had overall discovering the clues. I would definitely visit this escape room again despite the slightly creepy location (it's in the basement of a weird office building.)

The music choices were especially fun. We came as a couple and were then together with a group of 6 that seemed to have done this sort of thing several times before and so we took a few minutes to get into a groove with the rest of the team. Once things got going though, we had a really good time. Our team got out with 4 minutes to spare. One note: $25 per person seems a little pricey to me. We found a Groupon and so were able to do a little better than that, so keep your eyes peeled.

The service here has always been exceptional. Breakout along with other companies are moving away from the standard key and combo locks and integrating more "magic" as one of the hosts called it. More moving parts and ones that just open automatically when a puzzle is solved which is much more fun so if you haven't been in a while I'd say this is your cue to book a new room. My favorite room at this location was Do Not Disturb which doesn't exist in Ohio anymore but most recently we did Museum Heist. It was engaging with clues that could be solved by kids and adults. We had a party of five and made it out in time with our youngest player being 13. The clues are fun and challenging and the hints are given on a TV screen when you ask for them. I do prefer the ones where you can just speak to the host but these hints are specific to what you ask, you just may have to walk to the other room to see the TV. That is the only slightly negative thing I have to say because we love this company! If you've never been then this is a good place to start because they all seem passionate about escape rooms and making sure people enjoy it. For anyone who has done multiple escape rooms or plans to, you should check out the Morty app if you don't have it already!
