Countless guests have raved about their interactions with him, and when asked about the evening said that the magician was their favorite part of the night. I had met Carroll from Old Bag of Nails in Gahanna while eating with my family. He came and performed a few tricks that entertained my children and family. The next day my 8 year old said he wanted to learn magic. Fast forward to this past weekend and we had Carroll come to his birthday party to do a show for the kids! Carroll was the perfect pop of magic for our son's 5th birthday party! We had 25 kiddos in the audience and he kept their attention beautifully from start to finish. Even more impressive is that we had ages ranging from 2-7 with most of our kiddos on the spectrum. They were laughing and gasping more times than I could count. We had Carroll come for our annual Christmas Party. There were around 90 people (kids and adults) at the party; and his show was the highlight of the evening! He did a great job engaging the children during the performance. They were in awe of each trick! They especially loved the ones that included the dove and rabbit. Saw Carroll Baker at Greenlawn Cemetery fundraiser for the Crypt and he was awesome. In fact my kids (both under 10 at the time) and I thought he was much better than the headliner. We had the opportunity to see him at one of his other regular venues and again, he amazed us! Carroll Baker has been at Columbus Academy's Summer Experience program for 16 years and each of those years he wows and amazes students with his teaching of magic as well as his performance know how. We have had a Dartball banquet for over 40 years. I have been in charge of the entertainment for about 15 of those years.
