Had a dinner party and decided to try the Party C - Party Tray. 10 rolls all together, options of 7 rolls and 3 special rolls with the exception of a handful of rolls from both rolls types. We wanted a mix of everything and it was a home run. All the roles are put together in a plastic tray and decorated with real salad and the plastic decorative greenery. The salmon, crab, tuna, yellowtail, eel, avocado, and shrimp were flavorful, fresh, delicious. There were only 3 pieces of sushi left at the end of the night, everyone enjoyed. I have ordered my sushi platter here and have it delivered to the house before. Tonight is my first time dining in. My husband and I came in with a big group (about 22). We all came from a wake and decided to take a late dinner here. We secured a spot right away. Glad that it was not busy on this Friday evening. I liked how they get ready our table that fast. I am amazed how the server( Tiffany) single handled our group order. The food did not take long too. Once the food was delivered, I do not hear from anyone any error on each order. I usually order the 3 roll lunch special, sometimes the lunch sashimi. The quality is okay, the rolls haven't really changed in the last few years. Although not the prettiest, it does still taste good. This time, I ordered the sashimi deluxe which is said to come with 20 pieces of sashimi. It came with 19, which isn't a big deal but considering each a la carte sashimi is ~3$ please be considerate and double check. Also, it was 90+ degrees outside today, but please be careful with your deliveries because warm raw fish, warm sushi, warm salad is not good. I ordered a yellowtail jalapeño appetizer, soft shell crab appetizer, spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls. My fiancee ordered a yellowtail roll and a Philadelphia roll. Both my appetizers hit the spot! Yellowtail jalapeño is one of my favorites and the crunchy soft shell crab satisfied my tastebuds for something fried. I was in the area and needed a bite to eat. Seeing that I am a big Japanese cuisine fan and this place has relatively good reviews, I decided to give it a try. The place was easy to locate and has a small parking lot shared with the other stores in a small strip mall setting but don't plan on getting a spot. It's a small lot and a lot of stores in the area, so you may be able to find some parking a bit away, like let's say a block away. The place was cozy, a lot of customers were already there so I guess they can get a bit busy. I was quickly seated by the hostess and immediately given a menu. It was a bit on the noisy side though, I don't know if their guests are normally that noisy but I could barely hear myself think. Simple solution seeing that I was solo, headphones, Iphone, and Netflix. My waiter took my order, which was the Chicken Katsu lunch box, quickly. I didn't wait for my food for long, like the average cooking time you could say which is around 15-20 minutes. It was so beautifully plated that I had the urge to take a photo of it, but I controlled that annoying impulse and gave in to my hunger instead. Everything was well flavored, I really enjoyed it. The miso soup was very tasty and savory, not at all watered down. The Katsu was nice and crispy as well as moist in the inside (just right, I hate dried out chicken). I loved the salad, fresh and crispy, with a nice tangy dressing. The California roll was good (I have tasted better) and well made. They gave me some fruit as a complimentary dessert to help clean the palette as well. Pretty good spot overall. Decent portion size, flavorful, cooked well, and fast, what more can I ask for. Before my wife and I moved into Little Neck, Queens, we have never heard of Osaka before and it wasn't till the day we decided to order in that we realize crap, there were not too many good Japanese cuisine options around our area! So we decided to go for the best one rated on Yelp- Osaka I had only gotten delivery from this place so this review will be based only on the food and delivery experience. We ordered the Alaska Roll, Eel Avocado Roll, Spider Roll and an order of the Sashimi Regular combo. The order took about an hour from when it was ordered to delivered. I guess it wasn't too bad since we probably a good 15 minutes' drive from the actual restaurant. The delivery guy didn't ask for extra tip and politely handed me the food. I immediately opened up the sashimi combo, it was filled with 3 different types of fish (very generous amount)- Tuna, Salmon and yellowtail. I tried the yellowtail first since I don't think I had too many fresh yellowtails before. The yellowtail was AMAZING!!!! You can taste the freshness even if you never had sashimi before! And the tiny bite size scallion complimented the fish so well! Just perfect! After that I know I'm in good hands, it can only get better from this point and I was RIGHT! The salmon and tuna were both extremely fresh, melts in your mouth good, make sure don't waste good fish in wasabi, just a little bit (very little) of soy sauce will do! The Alaska Roll was just as amazing since the salmon was so fresh! It was very clean tasting along with the cucumber in it. The Eel avocado roll was average, it wasn't bad but just couldn't outshine the extremely fresh Salmon/Tuna/ Yellowtail. On the other hand, I do appreciate the Spider Roll very much. The soft shell crabs here are made to order, you can tell because it's not rock hard when you bite into it unlike a lot of other places. It's very flavorful and not drowned in eel sauce so definitely a plus! Prices are great! The regular rolls are around $5 each and special rolls are around $8- $10. The sashimi combo came out to be $16 but it is worth every penny! Who would have ever guessed that there is such an awesome sushi place in the Oakland Garden area in Queens? Not me, but thank you Osaka for making me a believer! I will be back again!! read more

So, I believe this is probably part of a chain of sushi restaurants. It is a good restaurant with a nice relaxing Sushi Restaurant Style decor: Shiny wood floors with pictures of Old Timey Japanese outfitted persons on the wall and colorful lanterns above the sushi bar. The bathroom was very clean and wheelchair accessible. The Rolls were fresh and standard. I've tried my favourite Dragon Roll ($8.95) . It was good but not special. I've tried their Ginza Roll ($7.00)and K2 Lobster Roll ($12.50) which were both good but not spectacular. Pricing is reasonable and rather standard so I do not feel strongly about giving this place a 4 star which means above average. If the price was cheaper, then I would say, yeah, 4 stars because the quality is more than the cost. Everything is very very standard, good but standard. read more

They have their own parking lot, so picking up is never an issue. They also have a nice website where you can just order everything online, without even having to call up. Excellent! I've been here several times over the past few years; it's really close to where my mom lives and it's our go-to sushi place. The fish is always fresh and they have solid cooked food (for the stepdad that doesn't do raw...he gets a hibachi platter that's stacked with generous portions of shrimp, steak and veggies...plus a side of fried rice...and soup...). Last night I kept it simple - a little bit of sashimi and a few rolls to share - salmon/avocado, salmon/mango and asparagus. The pieces are pretty big but the ratio of rice is nice - not too much like a lot of sushi places. The service is always extremely friendly; there are a couple of girls that give my mom a hug when she walks in. It's really cute.
