I have ordered my sushi platter here and have it delivered to the house before. Tonight is my first time dining in. My husband and I came in with a big group (about 22). We all came from a wake and decided to take a late dinner here. We secured a spot right away. Glad that it was not busy on this Friday evening. I liked how they get ready our table that fast. I am amazed how the server( Tiffany) single handled our group order. The food did not take long too. Once the food was delivered, I do not hear from anyone any error on each order. Our other companions are regulars on this place and she knows exactly how each one's order should be. Amazing memory. It was the first Friday of Lent and everyone seemed happy with the seafood appetizer and seafood dinner box they ordered. I know their sushi comes in fresh all the time and there's no doubt about it. I settled with a seafood udon noodle soup for tonight. With the price, only shrimp is a real thing and the others were imitation. I love the mixed vegetables on my soup. I need to add soy sauce on it though. It maybe not their specialty but a good alternative. We had a good experience during the dining.

Overall: 4/5 Speed: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Portion: 5/5 Taste: 3.8/5 Ambience: 3.5/5 I am katsudon fanatic so I ordered to go online. Turns out they offer free delivery for over $15 too. I was pleasantly surprised with the portion size! They used a large tupperware and it was packed full of meat with a layer of fried egg and veggies on top. I feel like traditionally I've gotten the egg mixed in with the meat in the past and flavor was a bit off from my expectation. I would get delivery in the future because of the good portion size.

I've been here a handful of times because it's so close to my house but the reviews are pretty accurate.. they are not friendly or welcoming or even nice. And today I picked up my food and got home to the picture I uploaded.. I think today was my last time. ‍

I've been here for dine in just once since their lunch special was lower than most Japanese restaurants I know but have gotten take out a few times. They have lots of seats inside and it's always fairly empty. I've gotten their party platters, bento boxes and udon before. It's good for a quick meal or a quick sushi fix but it's not very authentic and the quality isn't the best.

    Lol. It's empty anyway.

Food is good! However the attitude of a staff is less than pleasing. Gratuities are shoved into your bill and then they ask for some more. Not a problem, but at least smile sometimes.

Cloudy sake Friend and steamed dumplings.

Been here a couple of times and I must say I have yet to be dissatisfied. It's a lively restaurant to spent with family & friends. Service is always on point, and the food is alwaysdelicious. Recommended highly.

Wonderful, little gem in Queens for sushi. Always treated well and the food is quite yummy. Whenever I have a craving, it is my go to spot.

But this place completely knocked it out of the park. It far exceeded everything we anticipated. We were seated in a private booth, which made the experience feel even more authentic and intimate. Every dish that came out was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. They even provided a bell to press for service, and each time, the server appeared almost instantly with a warm smile. It's clear the owner and management truly know how to create and run a successful business--from the attention to detail to the seamless service and overall experience. For a moment, it truly felt like we had been transported back to Japan. An unforgettable dining experience.

The booths were also…read morewell decorated too (there was one with one piece images on the wall), disappointingly though the one I was in had very dark lighting so my dad had to use his phone flashlight to see the menu. For our food we ordered the hako sushi, tornado omelette fried rice, trio tuna sushi roll, yakitori platter (ordered chicken gizzard and gyu harami on the side) and the A5 Wagyu cooked on the stone grill. I recommend getting the yakitori platter as it's a nice sampler but my husband especially enjoyed the chicken gizzard. My dad never had wagyu before so he especially loved the wagyu but I do think it's expensive for the amount they give you, I can see why it's pricier but just know before you order it's like $45 for 2.5 oz or in our case about 5 thin slices of wagyu. My brother said the tornado omelette was tasty and filling and he enjoyed it. The trio tuna sushi roll was very fresh. As for the service, I think everyone was pleasant but the vibes were a little off, it seems like they were just very exhausted. This doesn't affect the quality of the food or the experience but it was just something I noticed. They were still very attentive and provided great service. The reason for the one star off is because I do wish the Hako sushi had a bit more flavor, I saw so many different ingredients and fish but none of the flavors were impactful, it was rather one dimensional which was disappointing because it was presented so beautifully. Overall, I recommend giving Izakaya nana a try and I would definitely go again to try other things.

I could have gotten many refills but I was dining with my wife and kids, and only opted for 1 refill. I got the tonkatsu ramen with garlic which is my go to ramen. I have come to kyuramen countless times of the years and they always say theres a chance of winning free ramen or a free drink. Yeah right... I was very skeptical and always have been. When you finish your ramen and broth, you would check at the bottom of your bowl to see if you won or not. I have never won except this time!! When you tell the server, they'll give you a little voucher/card to be used in about 3 weeks time. The time period for redemption is a bit short, but it's better than nothing. The food here is always good, the service generally attentive and fast. A nice place to bring your family or a date.

I really liked attention that went into the decors at this place. There are Japanese wooden prayer cards hanging on the walls. Some seatings are encapsulated in honey comb-shaped panels. Everything was made out of wood from tables to chairs to napkin holders and condiment jars. For appetizers, we had the Japanese fried oyster and calamari. Both were delicious especially the oysters that were popping out in the middle. I got the Yin Yang ramen which apparently was inspired by the yin yang hot pot with split broths. I immediately took a liking to this novel idea since I did want to try two different broths. I believe the red spicy side was miso-based, while the white side was tonkotsu. I quite enjoyed the red side as it was flavorful. The tonkotsu broth was a bit underwhelming as I thought it was pretty bland tasting. I also wished that it was served warmer. What I got was a bit tepid. Not pictured: my friend got the same ramen but his piece of the pork belly consisted entirely of fat with no lean meat. That was a bit disappointing. Despite the aforementioned misses, I did enjoy dining here and look forward to coming back and try their Omurice.
