Spring roll
Ashley D.

Really enjoyed the Osaka house roll! It tasted so fresh and delicious. Also tried the spicy miso ramen but unfortunately, it had a weird taste that I could not get over. The spring roll were a bit cold but still tasted good. I would definitely come back and try a different ramen! Ambience is really nice and staff was very friendly.

Baked Scallop Roll

Such a beautiful sushi restaurant! The entirety of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Their menu is great as well as their prices! I got the tonkotsu ramen, chicken gyoza, and scallop roll. The chicken gyoza was delicious along with the sauce on the side. The scallop roll was the perfect portion. My only problem was that the ramen's pork was a bit over-charred so it had a strong smokey flavor to it.

Came in for a quick lunch & service was great as usual. I got salmon carpaccio & the soft shell crab which was the perfect meal. Staff is always welcoming & attentive and food was delicious.

A delicious plum wine!

I was in the mood for ramen and my husband was in the mood for Sushi. We had invited my MIL out for Valentine's dinner. We were looking for a new place to try, so I ended up finding Osaka House through reviews and it did not disappoint! The only thing that disappointed was that the restaurant had no affiliation to Osaka, Japan. We loved visiting Osaka and were looking forward to practice our broken Japanese lol. We ordered a Dragon Roll for the table, I ordered the Volcano Ramen because I love spicy, the hubby ordered the Eel Avocado Hand Roll and Beef Ramen, my MIL ordered the Miso Ramen. We also ordered a bottle of the plum wine which was delicious! My hubby still raves about that hand roll and we all really enjoyed our ramen choices on that rainy day. All in all, we would totally recommend Osaka House! The food has very good flavor, is reasonably priced and the ambiance was really nice. The aesthetic is on point, it doesn't feel like downtown SB at all! We will definitely be going back!!

Miso Soup

This is my new favorite sushi spot. I love their happy hour deal of 2 basic rolls & mid o soup for $14.99. You can upgrade to other rolls for $4. The service is fast during a non busy day and I like how friendly everyone is. The inside decor is cute too. The rolls are delicious and I love their miso soup.

Ramen and sushi

10/10 every single time!! Osaka Sushi House is seriously one of my favorite sushi spots in San Bernardino. Everything is always SO fresh and delicious, the restaurant is beautifully remodeled, and the ambiance makes it such a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The waitresses are also always incredibly sweet, welcoming, and personable. But what really made me love this place even more was how above and beyond they went for me when my sister was in the hospital giving birth. I wanted to surprise her with sushi, and they actually let me buy/rent one of their sushi boats so I could bring her the full experience at the hospital. They put everything together so beautifully and even wrote her the cutest little note with a swan on it. It was such a small personal touch, but it meant SO much to us and made an already special day even more memorable. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and even better people. I'll continue coming back and recommending Osaka to everyone.

Chicken katsu

First off, this place is like a flower growing in a city dump. You wouldn't even imagine from the outside and environment that this place is gorgeous inside. The decor and service is excellent. Everyone was friendly to me. The food ranges from ramen to sushi. The sushi is amazing. Great flavor and a huge variety. The chicken katsu is so crispy. The sushi was fresh and pink, I love a fresh pink meat. I could it all night. The prices are reasonable. Don't let San Bernardino fool you. This joint is amazing. Please stop by and try it.

Food was amazing, service spot on, and the ambiance was very much an upgrade for the area & ample space. If you're able to, eat here! Great back drop. Boys and wife loved it!

Rainbow rolls BOGO

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while. Osaka isn't exactly known for sushi (more so like street food and like fried stuff) so with that kind of name I had very tempered expectations. I ended up having a really good experience though and I think I'll be back on occasion! I ordered takeout as is my preference lately, but the inside looks very nice and new. There's a lot of maiko themed kind of decor, which again is not at all the vibe of Osaka, but was kind of funny and made me and my friends giggle. I got two Rainbow Rolls (they had a BOGO deal), a shrimp tempura hand roll, and tuna and tuna belly nigiri. The rice was better than I expected and had that nice sweet vinegar flavor. The fish was fresh and cut neatly. The sushi quality is definitely higher than most other sushi places in SB. With the deal, the price wasn't bad either. Overall, it's a good spot if you're in the area and want solid sushi at a reasonable price. It's nothing mind-blowing and it lacks authenticity, but I'd order from here again.

Salmon/Avocado roll

Overall a 4.5 star. I'll keep this short. It's a cool spot in San Bernardino. The interior is very nicely done. I wanted sushi for lunch, so this was fairly close to my work. I ordered their lunch special to go, it was a salmon avocado roll and a Lemon roll, which is basically a California roll with Salomon on top, and lemon on top of that. After waiting a few mins I decided I wanted to eat there, so the hostess seated me at a table. Service was good (considering I didn't really need much service). I just think the employees should be a bit more friendly, smiling maybe.? I don't know. Food was good, hit the spot. Interior and ambience is very nice. I would totally recommend trying this spot if you're near by!

The food is phenomenal! Don't judge it based on the location. I drove off the freeway for a quick dinner and almost passed right by Osaka House Ramen & Sushi. Fortunately, I had spotted the listing on Yelp and went in for what turned out to be the best meal I'd had in months! Tucked in the corner of a shopping center, the restaurant offers a surprisingly mellow yet professional ambiance that makes for a relaxing evening (think upscale fast casual but with decent lighting and decor). The staff was very friendly and made various menus recommendation. I ended up ordering a few of their daily special items which were simple, yet packed with flavor. The waygu beef and blue crab hand roll get my vote. To make a great night better, they also served me a complementary dessert. As I'm sure you can tell, I highly recommend visiting and trying it for yourself. I hope to come back sometime soon.

Miso soup, tasty if not a bit salty

First, the good. My wife likes this place. She ate here once during lunch, ordered sushi rolls, and loved it. This Friday evening, she did the same. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. It was the worst bento box I ever had. My first clue was the menu, where there were only four choices, unlike other Japanese restaurants. The rice was not sticky enough because it wasn't cooked enough. The chicken was rubbery and tasteless, except for the teriyaki sauce that seemed to be poured ungenerously onto the meat and not cooked into the meat. The tempura was okay; so were the salad and the California roll. We both ordered water and hot tea. Many restaurants give you a pot of hot water, but not this place. You get a tiny tea cup. My wife had to ask for more hot water. I didn't bother. The service was good. The servers were many and attentive. The ambiance was impressive. The interior looked clean and spacious and modern. With time, I hope the faux cherry blossom trees get dusted regularly. Upon leaving, my wife pointed out that it's a ramen and sushi restaurant. I agreed to return someday, but I honestly believe that the bento box should NOT be on the menu and that customers should definitely avoid the teriyaki chicken. Shopping center parking. The restaurant is at the far end of a strip mall where Marshalls is the anchor store.

I visited on a Saturday in…read morethe late afternoon, and surprisingly, there was no one else in the restaurant when we arrived. There was only one staff member present, and unfortunately, the experience did not start with a warm welcome. She simply handed the menu to me and told me to sit wherever I wanted, rather than greeting us properly and showing us to a table or placing the menu on the table. While this may seem like a small detail, first impressions matter and unfortunately, this initial interaction set the tone for the rest of the experience. We chose 'Build your own Ramen' where every item is itemized and priced. I had the Tonkotsu broth with Pork Chashu which - 4/10; some part of noodles still clumpy, broth is decent and not that great, chashu piece is the only good thing, comes in thick chunky cut. While my husband got Kazi which is the dry noodles - 5/10, taste is quite garlicky however it's quite spicy for 'just right' spicy level. One thing I noticed during my visit was that the waitress appeared somewhat disengaged from her work. She had a TV show playing nearby and seemed to spend a noticeable amount of time watching it rather than attending to customers. Unfortunately, the overall level of attentiveness and hospitality did not meet my expectations. The atmosphere initially seemed appealing, with the painted wall décor giving the space a cool and distinctive look. However, the music coming through the speakers was not particularly enjoyable, as the sound system seemed disproportionate to the size of the room.

But my experience yesterday around 6:30 p.m. was completely different because of one employee. When I went to pay, I tried using cash. Instead of simply telling me they don't accept cash, she made this dramatic face, pointed at the "No Cash" sign, and said it in such a rude, condescending tone. I was like, "Okay," and paid with my card. From that point on, her attitude was just awful. Every time she spoke it was like she couldn't be bothered to do her job. She had a nasty attitude the entire interaction. Then when my name was called, I walked over to pick up my food like I always do. Every other time I've come here, I've grabbed my utensils, napkins, bags, or an extra plastic bowl myself without any issue. This time, as I reached for some napkins, she literally yelled, "No, no, no! I'll grab it for you! What are you touching? What do you need?" I told her I was just grabbing napkins, and then she said, "I don't know why the cooks plated it like this. I'll just bring it to you." I was honestly so confused. Why was she so rude? There isn't any sign saying customers can't grab utensils or napkins from the pickup area, and I've never been treated like that before. I live nearby and come here often, so this really stood out. The food was still great, but that employee's attitude completely ruined what is normally a great experience. I hope management addresses it because everyone else I've interacted with here has always been friendly and professional. Besides the sloppy host.
