They will not knock on your door to announce themselves or to ask if you would like them to treat the inside of your home. They will pull up, rush around the outside of your home and run to their vehicle as quickly as possible to avoid you. This causes a major problem because once the yard is treated, the pests will invade your house. We have had to call them multiple times to comeback and treat the inside after we have fought off bugs in the mean time. I am a housewife and am home every day of the week, I know when someone has knocked. Beware, this is a non reputable company and they will lie to you about knocking. If they lie about knocking what else will they lie about... service being performed, chemicals used, background of staff/ techs they hired to come into your home? Lie about something small, you'll lie about something big.

They will not…read moresimply cancel service, but instead transfer you from department to department avoiding the actual cancellation request. This is a high-pressure harassment technique that they have perfected, and I'd advise all to stay away from White Knight. Don't say I didn't warn you!! Oh, and when they tell you that you must speak to a "consumer advocate", that means a person that specializes in not allowing you to cancel - even if you have moved and no longer live at the address that is being serviced as is my situation!! They called from an 800 number and left a message - 1 attempt and 1 message, and then sent an email saying that they have tried "repetitively" to contact me about my desire to cancel and until they do, my account remains "paused". Again, this is not a company that operates in good faith. Be aware. These tactics are well-known and considered unethical by most consumers.

During the final visits, the technician arrived, stated they would be attempting a new treatment method, and then departed within minutes without performing any observable service. The service agreement explicitly included an option to terminate if the customer was not satisfied with the results. After notifying the company that I was invoking this provision, they nevertheless proceeded to send the remaining balance on my account to collections. Based on my experience, the company failed to provide the contracted services and did not honor the termination terms outlined in the agreement. Avoid this company.

Without my knowledge or consent, they installed bait traps around my home. Shortly after, I was told I'd receive a "free termite inspection." The technician then showed me photos of the bait stations, claimed they showed termite activity, and tried to pressure me into purchasing a treatment plan. This tactic felt manipulative. In Central Texas, placing bait traps anywhere will attract termites--it's not proof of infestation, it's bait. Canceling my account was a nightmare. It took three separate attempts: - First attempt: I was offered a discount and two "free" treatments. I accepted, then tried to cancel again. - Second attempt: I was told I owed payment for the "free" treatments unless I completed two additional paid services--something never disclosed in writing or during the initial call. I was even threatened with collections if I didn't comply. I reluctantly paid for two more treatments just to move on. - Third attempt: I emailed a detailed cancellation request. They insisted I speak with a "Customer Advocate." When I called, the representative (Evonne) dismissed my concerns and hung up after curtly saying, "Fine, your account is closed." Bottom line: This company uses bait-and-switch tactics and makes it unnecessarily difficult to cancel. Their business practices are misleading and aggressive. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for pest control services.

They did an excellent job! Pam had come alone previously and tried to do this job by herself but really needed an additional hand moving the washer and dryer. Armando had also come previously to help set traps and seal weep holes . Both of these technicians and the other team member , Ian, did an exceptional job helping get rid of the rats! We are very happy with the service we received from all of them !! Highly recommend them and Biotech!!

He found the source of the entry, got on a ladder and took a picture. His solution: wait til I don't hear it anymore and call them back and they can seal it up. Seriously? Paid 59$ for this - for nothing. I called wildescapes. Matthew said "I'm gonna come put a one-way trap up there, seal all but the trap and I'm gonna do it right now" The squirrel was gone by the afternoon. I will say biotech called me back an hour after their tech was out here. Office person asked if I would like them to come put a one-way trap on the vent? You know what??? that would've been an excellent suggestion for the tech to make while he's sitting here talking to me and STARING AT MY HOUSE but it's too late now. She said they could send a more experience technician. Then why did you send that one to begin with? Don't waste your money- call Matthew.

For ants, they do have an ADDITIONAL $200 yearly service that keeps the ants out of your yard. Don't know if that really work. You might think,well, that is OK, We are in Texas, one or two ant mounts in the yard is tolerable, right?! Not until now! I have all kinds of ants in my yard, driveway, flower bed, veg garden, all tree beds, everywhere. And that is when I found out this company does not guarantee no ants in yard. Which explains after 5 yrs with this pest company we have such big issue with ants in OUR yard!! Almost everyone in the neighborhood uses pest control, because this company, all the ants are in our yard now. During one of their visit to resolve the ant issue, their Tech even said we have sooooo many different types of ants in our yard, from fire ant to tree ant, to sugar ant, and a ant that he couldn't identify. Beside ant issue, we don't have issue inside the house, maybe just more silverfish in recent year. It would be funny if they say 'We don't Guarantee Silverfish" but I wouldn't be surprised. At the end of the day, we are cancelling their service. I am outdoor person, there just too many ants crawling in my yard.

For the past two days, I have had my evenings interrupted by these cute little eastern European kids that I doubt are old enough to be working. Yesterday a young lady came calling at a reasonable hour and left after I made it clear that I neither shop for, nor buy anything at my front door, be it pest control or religion. Tonight, Lucas rang my door bell after 8:30, scarcely spoke English and just stood their stammering after I expressed dismay at being disturbed at such an obscene hour, and summarily dismissed him. I gave him a chance to leave with his dignity, but he insisted on stammering away, even as I closed the door. Then, to top it all off, he left his calling card on my window sill. Seriously, what kind of company employs young Russian kids and sends them out in the heat doing door to door sales at this hour? I mean is Spott holding their families hostage until they knock down a certain number of contracts? I cannot speak to how their service is, and frankly I don't care. Any company that demonstrates such a marked lack of judgement in it's business practices will not be getting my business, and has inadvertently retained the services of my personal PR firm. On to facebook and any other outlets for my fresh batch of vitriol, compliments of SPOTT PEST PREVENTION, and their star salesman, Lucas.

Andy Martinez serviced our home today and did an outstanding job. He was thorough, kind, professional, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. He also sent photos of everything that was treated and kept us informed throughout the service, which we really appreciated. We also want to recognize Eric Retana, who has always provided excellent service for us. Eric was originally scheduled to come out but was unable to make it, so he recommended Andy. Eric had trained Andy, and it showed. Andy carried himself with the same professionalism, care, and attention to detail that we have always appreciated from Eric. Both Eric and Andy deserve recognition. They represent Aptive very well and are exactly the kind of technicians who build customer trust. Any customer-driven business would do well to train its service representatives in this same manner. The female of the two reps smirked rudely when I pointed out the sign and pompously claimed "oh I don't have my contacts on today so I can't read that". Funny that my security camera has her waiving at the camera on her approach from plenty far away to indicate she can see fine. Both reps claimed they had the permits required to knock in our neighborhood, and then refused to provide them. The company says: "Aptive sales representatives will always have a verifiable ID badge." Both reps refused to give permits, sales ID badges, or even a business card. Then calling into the main company to complain, I was told they were going to connect me to someone who would help me address this, and then they hung up on me. Fortunately I have 2 videos both with audio, plus the recorded phone call, and I found neighbors with similar experiences of the same two people. Once I've received the videos from my other neighbors, I'm posting all of them to many social media platforms next week. I won't go to that extent if I get a call from a manager (and a response to this message) who proves this is being fixed and not taught as a sales tactic since it is illegal, as well as verification that the rep is fired or a direct apology received from that rep via phone.
