Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis.

Gary at Austin's Wildlife Removal Services is nothing short of amazing! We noticed a hole at base…read moreof our chimney box on one side along with chew/scratch marks on another side. Called Gary this morning at 9:30 and he was here to offer a free inspection by 10:15am! From the roof Gary said it looked like we caught the problem at the beginning as there was not much activity showing at the entry/exit hole. Gary then inspected our attic and while there were paw prints abound the perimeter of the attic, there was no damage to any of the air ducts thankfully. Gary then placed strips of tape over the hole and we will monitor for 24 hours. Gary said if the tape has not been disturbed we should feel safe about getting the chimney box repaired quickly. If the tape is disturbed he will proceed with setting up traps to safely catch the raccoon. Gary then offered advice on how to help keep critters at bay as well. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I asked how much his coming to inspect cost and he said "no charge" for this, unless the raccoon returns and trapping is needed! We can't thank or recommend Gary enough! He is a one man operation that seems to take great pride in offering an honest service without trying to sell us something we don't need.

On a FREE inspection Gary found where the likely entryway was (broken siding under an eave that I hadn't noticed). Gary covered it with duct tape. And provided next step instructions on how to take care of it myself, or a VERY fair estimate on how much he would charge to patch it up once we knew the animal was evicted. I ended up taking care of it myself through Gary's advice, only because it was a safer part of our steep 2 story roof. I have now solved the problem with only the cost of a strong roofing adhesive and used some spare flashing I had laying around. I know 100% who I'm reaching out to next time a critter decides to enjoy my attic. Thank you Gary!

I looked for a company to remove and treat the affected issues. I could see two areas when they came out they found one more. We assume it was raccoons not in the attic nor crawl space. First time having this issue but it's been resolved. I am a bit concerned since it rained last night post cleanup and treatment. I'm hopeful it solves the issue and I won't need to address again. There are no pictures post cleanup. I documented photos of what I saw to get an idea if I was calling the right company to handle.

The gentleman, Pete, who comes out to do the HARD work - and it is HARD work - is caring for both humans and pests of all kinds. He is professional and respectful. He works fast and diligently. Best of all, he is super honest and will not stop until the job is done right. They are reasonably priced and they do not try to oversell!!! These guys are good people and they have my business longterm!! In terms of communication, they are a mom & pop shop (local business of people who care), but they are honest! They checked traps I put down and for any signs of rodent life, when they did not find anything - they said that I did not need traps at this time - that the preventative should do it! This is not a fancy franchise operation - they use text better than phone and send invoices by email. They are not perfect - no one is - but they acknowledge when they are wrong and fix it right away. One time, I did not notice an error in my invoice and they texted me to tell me the price was actually lower. They always respond to me and they show up - they always do better work than I anticipated. They quoted over the phone, stuck to the quote, did the work they showed me over the phone. They also showed me where my other exterior spray service has made some exterior staining on my brick and did not try to sell me on anything. Michael from Cypress Critters & Pests was a great experience for a problem. We realized we had an…read moreanimal in the house. I tried to contact other contractors, but Michael was the only one to respond immediately. He found a way to get on schedule asap. He completely an interior and exterior inspection, and found the hole in the softer area of the roof in minutes. He worked into the evening with absolute health and safety because he had to install the cage on the second story roof. He provided details to understand what we needed to do to catch the critter. Upon capture, he would be back to us asap with a gentle release. The cage was installed with quality around an 8 inch hole. Upon identifying that we were able to no longer have the animal in the house, Michael came back and performed excellent construction work to patch not only the hole, but the surrounding area . Overall, Michael's professionalism, quality of workmanship, responsiveness, fully transparent in explain all that needed to be done including cos that was reasonable, I made the right decision in hiring Michael's firm to handle a big problem. I had one other company come in because scheduling trapping/trap checking around the holidays was tough. He said it was rats and a full service would be $1600, discounted to $1350. Whoa. What! Back to S+W I went and asked it there was any way we could get them in sooner. Vicki was always accommodating in my several calls about scheduling, even called on her off-day. And Wyatt came and relaxed our nerves. The most immediate problem was squirrels - probably one - and he put in a one-way exit door on the hole. There was definitely a critter jumping from our neighbor's tree and apparently making himself at home, so we had the trees trimmed by another company, and Wyatt sealed the hole with a small, unobtrusive and color-matching wood piece. Both of his trips were wrapped into a very low price. No more critter in the house! I see they now have handyman services, so I'm happy to use them in the near future for happier tasks!

We've also had wasps coming in our home (very terrifying) we had spiders also coming and we also had roaches in our garage basically everything! Like are we joking rn? I'm flabbergasted cause why tf are you trying to charge me a cancellation fee on something i only agreed to ONE TIME SERVICE??? And then charge me for a second service i didn't even receive. SO basically the billing guy told us we had Two options either pay the $200 cancellation fee or set up an appointment for someone to come out and do the service and not get refunded our money!
