Take the 2 stars with caution. I found this pizzeria super late night close to midnight on like a Wednesday or Thursday night. I think time of day plays a HUGE roll in quality of food. I also ordered for it to be Delivered. I ordered their XL Pizza and 18 Wing Combo with 2 side drinks. Everything about this was underwhelming. The pizza did not taste fresh. The dough tasted frozen and the sauce was a bit tangy. I did like how the cheese was melted but overwhelm the dough was really the disappointment. I also added bacon but the pizza barely had any, it was like they quickly sprinkled it on. I'm not a fan a breaded saucy wings. When I order wings I expect my wings to be "naked" in the sense that I'm not biting into soggy flower. I find that when wings are breaded and you try to sauce them like buffalo wings, the flour gets all soggy and mushy creating a very unpleasant eating experience. The delivery was spot on. It was a late night DoorDash delivery after i just got back from a long trip. And everything checked out great. May not be in line with other reviews. But i got lucky. Pizza extra cheese with onions was fresh and really delicious. Wings in honey sauce were very flavorful and juicy. Onion rings i was told real good and so were mozzarella sticks. Tried this place for the first time since moving to Maryland and was not disappointed. Definitely a solid 8 out of 10 across the board on all items ordered. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly and the toppings were super fresh. The cheese pull was insane and reminded me of the pizza from the classic Ninja Turtles cartoons. The wings were massive, crispy, and the Buffalo sauce was classic. Delivery was fast (20 minutes faster than estimated), service was great, and I honestly can't wait to order from here again in the future. As far as food goes, I am on the constant hunt for the perfect pizza, the perfect pasta and the perfect wings. It looks like I finally found the perfect pizza, even though I wound up ordering a weird one. I had the 4 Season Pizza which was topped with broccoli, shrimp, fresh sliced tomatoes, red onions, and extra cheese. My husband had the Oriole Treasure Pizza which was topped with ground beef, pepperoni, salami, sausage, anchovies, black olives, double cheese, green olives, green peppers, hot peppers, mushrooms and onions. Placed an online order via Grubhub while being serviced at a haor salon. The bill for a large cheese pizza with half sausage and a grilled chicken salad was $25. It took over an hour, close to 90 minutes for the food to be delivered. The pizza arrived lukewarm, borderline cold. The salad left much to be desired. I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce. The chicken was bland and void of seasoning, not to mention tough from being microwaved. I requested cheese on the salad, that request was not honored. This was the worse mistake tonight. Decided to order some quick dinner after a long weekend and travel. So we decide on Oriole Pizza where we've ordered 100's of times. Wow, they sent old bay wings instead of honey lemon pepper, how you make that mistake is beyond me. And secondly, I ordered a gyro that they said came with the yogurt sauce. Wrong... first time I ever received a totally dry gyro. And there was 2 slices of meat on it. So I ate the lamb but not the rest. And I go to pull out my phone to write this review. But my wife says, call them and tell them how they messed up the order we go there too much. Against my better judgment I do as she says. I get this nice young lady on the phone. Here is the basic conversation: I tell her I'm disappointed with the order and she asks why. I tell her what happens. She says, I will send the correct wings and gyro. I inform her that because we had waited an hour for food, we ate it. She still insisted to send out the right order immediately. I say no at first but she wants to do us right. OK, thanks... Good consumer service right, wrong? The driver comes to the door and processes to ask my daughter for money for my order. When she explains this is a complimentary delivery he then asked for the wrong food. My daughter tells him to talk to my father. I call back to the store, the young lady apologizes and tells the driver to leave the food. While I'm talking to her on speaker, I speak to him, he is rude and tells me he'll just take the order back to store. I told him fine because I won't be doing business with him again. But she makes him leave food. Ready for this, I open the bag... no gyro! I call back to store, get a male who tells me that they will give me credit for future gyro and it was never coming tonight. And then tells me that I should have not eaten the other food. I explain the time issue and readiness to eat. He then puts the young lady on the phone who is very confused but makes offer for future. I didn't remember this place when I moved back into the Windsor Mill area but the name sounded familiar. Then, after further thought, I recalled that Oriole pizza is the same place my father used to order from when I was a teenager (15 yrs ago). It was great then and it is great now!! So far, my husband and I have tried the pizza, whole wings (which for some reason, no other pizza/sub shop in this area seems to carry whole wings) and their "buffalo" style wings (wingette/drummette portions), which we did not order spicy but tossed in their jerk seasoning. They are all very flavorful and I have no doubt their subs are good as well. Fast delivery, very courteous on the phone when I ordered and the food, well it speaks for itself. The only complaint maybe is that I have a real issue with places who charge extra to use a creit/debit card ($1 but still, what year is this??); cards are widely accepted everywhere. I am willing to overlook this and continue ordering from my new favorite sub shop! read more

Ordered a calzone from them and when it arrived it appeared cooked on the outside but the inside it was cold. The cheese was clumped and the pepperonis were cold and uncooked. I chose not to eat it because I didn't want to get sick. When I called to let them know and attempt to resolve it, the lady who answered claimed it was the only calzone of the day and she watched the cook fix the calzone on the grill first. Their only recourse was to offer me a credit the next time I call yet they didn't ask me for any identifying information. I ordered catfish, shrimp basket and 24 karat wings. I'll start by saying the wings were great! Hence the two stars. Everything else was thumbs down. It would've been no stars or one if possible. The catfish tasted bland with little to any seasoning. The meat was somewhat still thick as if it hadn't been cooked thoroughly. The fries were mushy. I wrote instructions to have both the catfish and fries fries crispy. That did not happen. Now the shrimp basket... it didn't even taste like shrimp!! I tasted more batter than anything. When they arrived 45 minutes later (we live close) the fries were cold and most of the cheese from the pizza was next to the pizzeria pooled in the corner of the box. When we called they wanted us to wait and let them make another pizza and exchange the previous one. To me asking a customer to wait possibly another 45 minutes for them for fix a problem that they created is ridiculous. At that point we were hungry enough and had plans that we could wait. Their only other option was to not do anything. They didn't even apologize or offer to make up for it on our next order. I will never order from them again and I recommend you don't either.
