Wednesday evening I was in town again and had the awesome opportunity to stop by Origin Thai again and introduce my boss. Amazing as they remembered me from the last trip a few months ago and remembered I liked Old Fashions. Wow still amazing service. Still amazing food. Still nice clean neat restaurant tha seems to be becoming very popular. Love the place and ready for next trip in. Yes I had the Shrimp Pad Thai again. It is great so why change?

Pad See Ew

Was in the area and ordered a take out. We ordered Pad See Ew, Pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, origin salad, beef jerky and the dumplings. The Thai hot was really hit the point, so yumm. The curry in the pineapple fried rice was quite dominant, we prefer mild. The peanut dressings for the salad was delicious. The size of their dumplings were smaller compared to other Thai place. But overall we enjoyed everything! We'll be back whenever we're visiting.

Drunken Noodles with shrimp. The best amount of spice, wide soft noodles, vegetables. Every bit of this was delicious!

This spot is amazing!!! Enjoyed dinner on Friday night. We got there close to 5:30 and they had a steady crowd. They are a bit small on the inside, max occupancy is 49. The bar is large, so ample sitting there. They have a simple menu, but the dishes are terrific! We ordered the Jerky (Beef) for the appetizer, Sesame Chicken and Drunken Noodles (w/ Shrimp). The flavor is out of this world!!! You can order a spice level on your dish to bump the flavor up a notch and for me, the mild was a bit spicy, but not bad. The staff is some of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. They are very attentive and will answer any questions you may have. The prices are on point and honestly, we left enjoying what we just ate. I'm excited to go back and try other dishes and cant wait to see what the future holds for this spot. They are definitely going to do well, especially with the local crowd.

Chicken pad Thai medium

So happy that this place opened. My husband and I both got the chicken pad Thai. I will say, the medium is more like a mild. The mild reallyyyy mild. So if you're on the edge, I'd bump up to medium. Super good though. They didn't add any annoying fillers like broccoli or zucchini like some competitors do. I'll be back many times.

The food is great it comes in very good portions and a good amount of protein which is rare these days, the staff is kind, and the restaurant is nice and clean.

Great service and good food. The sweet and sour was good. The portion could be slightly more but that's the only negative thing I can say.

The food had good flavors. However, the portions were so small for the price they charge. Therefore, not a lot of bang for your bucks!

I originally didn't think I'd finish this salad but it was really fresh and delicious. Very low carb meal. Next time I might try chicken instead of burgers. Husband had the Rocky Balboa burger and a side salad instead of fries. He was a little disappointed in the small size of the burger but it was otherwise good (cooked medium well but not dry) and the salad was fresh. Service was friendly but server had a little trouble remembering if they had Guinness. I would expect the servers to have this information ready as they serve primarily burgers and BEER, ya know. It was an early Fri nt dinner for us so not crowded or busy yet. Noise level was moderate and we could still talk without raising our voices.

Our server was super friendly and informative. We shared that we live in Raleigh and learned that they also have a location in Raleigh on Hillsborough Street. We already have plans to check out the Raleigh location this weekend! The food was all amazing! Clear standouts were the eggrolls and the smash burgers. The sweet potato waffle fries were amazing too. We enjoyed the 90s music and the movie decor on the walls. I'm so glad Yelp suggested we check this place out and I'm even happier to know they have a Raleigh location.

When I came in, I immediately was greeted by Phoebe who was serving and bartending. She had such a wonderful attitude and no matter how many questions I had she answered very kindly. Environment: Located in the suburbs…read more Cleanliness: 2 of 5 stars; Leadership/Management should ensure the restaurant is cleaned thoroughly at close of business as well as before the start of business each day; I needed to use the restroom at the end of our visit but thought about how the restaurant was presented upon entry and waited until I got home! The Welcome mat and surrounding floor area where we were seated had scattered crumbs/debri all around them! You shouldn't "judge a book by it's cover," so instead of leaving, I sat down and gave the food a try! Maybe it was an off-day, however first impressions are everything to me and the 101 Kitchen didn't come through with me for presentation yesterday! Food: Very tasty and plentiful; yet it was something about that steak that didn't taste quite like steak or maybe it was the fact that the Steak Exquisite Meal came with flank steak which tasted like a cross between sirloin, ribeye and something undecided! The (2) steaks came on a bed of fried potatoes with an egg for about $30! I'm one and done with this meal! My wife had pork belly bowl in which she didn't like; she sent it back to the kitchen and opted into a chicken and blueberry waffle plate for about $20! The chicken was thick and flavorful as well as the delectable Belgian waffle! We each had (1) glass pineapple juice($4/glass)! We spent $65 total with a tip! They have a full-service bar which might get my patronage later on this year because once again, they have exceptional service! Service: We received very prompt fast service and we're served our food/drink within 15-20 minutes of being seated!

I'm going to open by saying that the fun and humor of this restaurant is amazing. The interior is…read morenice and vibrant, with a perfect mix of minimalist and maximalist designs in the building (especially with the brewery apparatus being visible--which is awesome!!). Even before me an my party entered we could hear music playing from the building, which kept the vibes up! Moving onto the food, a certain menu item caught my eye. Something that I'm legally obligated to keep quiet about... but let tell you- this burger was Gooood. This "Signature Secret Burger" was rather unique, as it was like you took a pretty simple egg burger, and just ramped it up. My initial thought when I first tried it was that it was a burger squared, the mystery ingredients amplified the flavor to make such a savory meal. It wasn't to overbearing like many other burger places that I've visited, not immediately making me feel fat and full after taking a few bites. Our party also ordered a whole quart of fries, and they were SO GOOD!!! I'm a sucker for good fries, and you knocked this out of the park! Your fry soft was nice and mellow and complimented the fries perfectly. (And even afterwards, the fries warmed up really well and were still Really freakin' good!) Finally, during my visit, their anniversary event (Happy 15th By The Way ) and they were offering FREE DESSERT for someone who happened to sit in a randomly chosen seat. And by the luck of the gods my little brother found his way onto the seat! It was just really awesome to see a restaurant doing such awesome things for their birthday, y'don't see that every day! Overall, this place is definitely a place to stop by if you're in Durham. If you're in the area visit IMMEDIATELY if you love good fun food!

Vegan burger review!…read more Every once in a while even the vegans want a burger (aka me) so anyway I went to bull city brewery. The burger was yummy, nothing super unique, but I liked their vegan patty and thought it was moist and well flavored. I think it was a little expensive to come with no sides at all? but I don't think that's unique to the vegan burger. Anyway, I enjoyed the drink (blueberry mojito, a special at the time) a lot, and noticed that they have craft sodas on tap (super fun). The vibe is casual and woodsy, and the food came out in good time, though ordering at the front can take a while, since they only have one register. I think that the range of non-beer drinks they offer sets them apart a bit from other breweries (with the sodas, the specials, a few cocktails), which I really appreciate as someone who does not enjoy beer. They also tend to run drinks on a theme (i.e. when I was there they were offering like 7-10 different blueberry flavored drinks, both alocholic and non-alcoholic), which can make returning here fun. Overall, a good experience. They have some fun offerings, and a solid vegan burger.
