They do have a pet friendly outdoor patio (with heaters). Nearly everyone there came outside to greet my dog and I. Since I couldn't go inside they watched my dog while I went inside to get a beer. The bartender was friendly and efficient. She even brought out a water bowl. Without tasting other options, I chose the pecan maple porter ($7). It was excellent. Smooth, flavorful, and strong albeit pricy (comparable to other breweries in the area). Definitely would order that again, although I do want to try their other options. Several people were sitting outside and welcomed any at their table and into their conversations. Inside, the brewery was hosting an open mic night. I would have liked to hear more of it, but the outdoor patio was peaceful. As the sun came down, they started the heaters/fire pits. Ample parking is available right out front. Nearby parking lots and street parking is also available. Overall, excellent experience here and I highly recommend this brewery to others!

I love wings and the hotter the sauce the better but I was pleasantly surprised how the rosemary gave a nice flavor upfront with a subtle heat on the back and which made them most enjoyable. The blue cheese dipping sauce had little chunks of blue cheese that did not over power the dip or wings. The garden state burger brought me back to my childhood when I would walk to the corner deli and get a pork roll, egg, and cheese on a Saturday morning! The employees were so courteous and provided me with great service even when I arrived early to pick up my food. The table layout seems perfect for quant dinning but also open enough to share in the atmosphere on a busy night with other customers. As a recently retiree from the Army I am very thankful that I was able to support a veteran owned business and that it is providing great food for the Lillington and surrounding areas. Me and the family will definitely be return customers.

Very attentive and accommodating. As a table we ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. The coconut was a overly crispy but still had a good flavor. I ordered the boardwalk fries with a side salad as my meal. Both were delicious. For my portion of the appetizer, fries and salad my total was around $36 before tip. Would definitely come back here.

We made a rookie mistake: no reservation. Day before Christmas Eve. The only table available was by the door, which, for us, is a hard no. It was already chilly outside, and sitting by the door means constant drafts, tense shoulders, and food cooling faster with every opening. Not ideal, especially when you're settling in for a proper steak dinner. To their credit, the hostess tried everything--even showing us the reservation layout for the evening. The owner came over personally, and in the end, our options were simple: take the door table or come back at 7:30 pm when more tables would open. We were hungry, but we chose comfort over impatience. My dad left his number just in case a table opened sooner. We went home, had light snacks, and--surprise--got a call at 6:55 pm. Not only was a table available, it was a booth. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how they run this place. Stellar Client Care. When we returned, the owner John Linderman, met us at the door--warm, apologetic, and genuinely appreciative that we came back. The entire staff operates like a well-oiled team, with hospitality that feels intentional rather than performative. It's been a good while since I experienced an owner manager stop by every table to check in. A gesture from better dining times. Now, the food. We ordered: * Stuffed Shrimp with crab meat * Sausage bombs * Prime rib * A tomahawk ribeye to split I don't know if Harvey John's is officially farm-to-table, but the steak tasted incredibly clean--like actual beef. As a native New Yorker living in Los Angeles, I've eaten at many top-tier steakhouses--BOA, Ruth's Chris, Musso & Frank, Nick & Stef's, Steak 48--and I can confidently say this tomahawk was more flavorful and tasted fresher than all of them. Who knew a small-town North Carolina steakhouse would deliver a truly high-end experience? I'm no chef, but I do have a refined palate, and this meal was memorable. Honestly? If Michelin ever looks this way, they should take note. It's comforting to know you can leave one of the biggest food cities in the world and still find a steakhouse worthy of becoming a new regular favorite. Pro tip: Make a reservation--just to be safe. Cheers to Harvey John's.

Food flavours were wonderful, it's a lovely place for someone looking for elevated flavor compared to your usual tavern/barfood. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of street corn at Haileys recommendation, and honestly had to resist the urge to order several more sides of the street corn alone. A lovely place for an afternoon meal outside, I'll be looking forward to my return and requesting Hailey!

I got fish and chips and he got buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries. He ate all his fries and sandwich and said it was good. Sandwich came out hot but not fries. Mine was a big disappointment. The fish was burned and the batter had no flavor at all. Even doused with lots of malt vinegar, salt and pepper, it was still barely edible ( I ate the inside). If I hadn't been so hungry I would have sent it back, but I had not eaten all day and was hangry. In the picture you can see one showing the burnt side and I turned the other one over to check the other side. There was a kale slaw type salad that was just ok. Had lots of onion in it which I don't prefer. The fries were not good at all. Limp, no flavor. I only ate two and gave up. We went to Publix and got a frozen pizza and went home and cooked it. The place is nice, clean from what I saw and our waitress was wonderful. This would be a 3.5 only because of the great service.
