Where's the Chicken? I called in the order because the online ordering was down. I ordered from the online menu which includes chicken. There is no information about adding chicken. However, when I return home, 15 minutes away there was no chicken. When I call he said that it was included. There was also a previous post where they had the same experience.

Housemade crab soup

We love the ambiance of this restaurant. I wish we lived closer. They always gave great offerings. Sometimes a bit eclectic, but try them. You'll be thankful. Today, we had the homemade crab soup. A tomato based soup with great seasonings and tons of crab bits. The Boardwalk French Fries are smothered with pot roast infused with brown gravy and mozzarella cheese. The fries are hot and crispy, so it's not a gelatinous mess. The pot roast would make any grandmother proud! My friends had the Ceasars salad and one added chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken chunks were not warmed. They looked cooked/grilled but tasted fresh from the freezer. Ugh. So much so that they were frigid, ice cold, not even thawed, and she pushed them off her salad and didn't eat them. If I were her server and noticed that I would have rectified it immediately. I enjoyed the large Garden State salad, mixed greens, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, blueberries, and croutons, topped with shaved parmesan. All ingredients were fresh. I added grilled salmon, but it was forgotten. I had a bit of a wait for the salmon, so I enjoyed my soup. The majority of their dressings are housemade, and the blue cheese is amazing. Fry dipping worthy! Full bar, freshly brewed iced tea, don't remember if they offer Coke or Pepsi products. My money is on Pepsi, after all it is North Carolina!

Probably the best food in Lillington. It's pricier than other local spots but higher quality all around. We like to sit at the bar but there's plenty of tables as well. Always quick, friendly service even when they're busy. Support local!

Feral child obviously belonging to a regular was allowed to roam freely about the establishment.

If you have more than 3-4 people in there it's practically like a hotbox more liken to what you'd see at a concert from a fog machine. The next biggest issue I've had here is their hours. They don't actually have any real hours, it's kind of just whenever they feel like closing they close especially if it's not busy. One time I showed up a few minutes before 8 with a buddy an we were told they were closing. We brought up the fact that we checked their own website and it said 10pm before we drove half an hour. We were told the website was wrong. Another time we show up on a Friday around 9pm and they are scheduled to close at 11pm. Again, we were told they were closing early around 9:30p and asked to leave. I find not keeping to your posted hours really unprofessional even if it's only 1 or 2 customers. And the hours on your website and door should always be up to date as well as Google, Yelp and Apple Maps which is where 90% of people are going to check. It's easy to sign up for a manager account on those sites. The crowd here can be really really weird. One day a buddy and I were smoking in the rocking chairs outside when we were approached by someone who entered via the gate and asked if they could sit with us (note I said sit, not join). We accepted. They then promptly invited all of their friends to join one by one as they arrived and pretty much pushed us out of the table and wouldn't really speak to us--apparently the rocking chairs are coveted and we were in "their" spot. On top of all that, every one of them brought a travel humidor, not a single one went inside and bought anything. I've seen this group here many times and I've never seen them inside to get a drink or a cigar or anything. Very strange. Finally, if you compare this place to Apex Cigar lounge it just seems small and dirty. Apex has better ventilation and lighting in the lounge. Their outside areas are nicer and much cleaner. Their humidor is twice the size. And more importantly...they keep the hours they post on their site even if you are the only person there. Heck, I've been there after hours just chilling and smoking with the staff.

I rarely give a 5 star rating... but this place is the closest that I have seen in a while…read more They are a gem in that area if you are a cigar smoker and/or craft beer drinker It is located on a main road and has its own parking area. The owner greeted us and was very nice and friendly. This business is very veteran supportive. Along with major cigar brands, they support veteran owned cigar makers like Southern Draw and Carolina Cigar Company. In addition, several of the beers on tap come from veteran owned breweries. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor area is heated. There is a $5 per year cost to smoke there. The owner, Eric, explained their rationale for that. The indoor area is nice and they have music playing. There are no sports or news stations allowed on the TV. Eric told us that their are plans to have speakers placed around for better sound and volume control. Like I said they are not perfect and are working on things, but overall this place is excellent I wish I lived closer.... And i wish they did on line ordering, but that may come later he said. Go here and check it out!!!

I was super impressed by everything about the brewery and so wish it was closer to me so we could hang out there all the time. The place was absolutely beautiful. I loved their wooden beer signs and their outdoor tables. The space was huge and a great place for fun events. I loved their telephone booth selfie booth! They had food trucks on site and a great outdoor space. I really loved seeing so many dogs there! The event itself was absolutely incredible!! It was so cool seeing people dressed in full armor! I loved seeing the birds too. There were people dressed in costume who sent us on a bit of a scavenger hunt. We so enjoyed meeting the different costumed actors and being sent around to look for specific characters! A lot of thought and planning went into this event and we so appreciate the experience. Their beers were AMAZING!! We tried three different beers and loved them all. My favorite was the Spice Ghouls. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their beers. All of the staff members we interacted with were super nice. They were all working so hard to make the beer lines move fast. I love the cups! They had people pay $1 for the cup and then use it for each beer. I love that because it cut back on waste! I'm looking forward to next year. Hugger Mugger gave me a real sense of community. What a great place! I'll definitely visit again before their next anniversary.

Our amazing bartnder, an antique junkie herself, was super cool. If we're back in Sanford (and hoping we will soon) we'll for sure be back at Hugger Mugger.
