McDonald's - Shamrock shake - Fast Food Near Me - Lillington, North Carolina

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Lillington, NC location on 102 Cornelius Dr. This incident occurred on June 21, following a pre-scheduled order I placed on June 19 for a prayer breakfast intended to celebrate the fathers and men of our church. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 8:30 AM to pick up my order, I was initially greeted politely by one of your team members. However, the situation quickly deteriorated when I was informed that no order was on file under the church's name, despite my prior payment and confirmation. The team member could not find any record, and it took considerable time for this to be addressed. Throughout the ordeal, I faced continuous delays and excuses regarding the preparation of the order. At 8:53 AM, only part of the order was handed over, but it was clear that important items--including coffee and condiments--were missing. When I pointed this out, the team member expressed surprise, indicating that they were unaware such items had been included. During this time, I noticed other customers leaving in frustration due to similar problems with order accuracy and wait times. Despite these evident issues, the manager failed to step in promptly to provide any form of service recovery. Instead, I overheard the manager describing me as an "angry customer" to staff members, an inaccurate characterization given that neither I nor my companion raised our voices or behaved disrespectfully. When I addressed this with the manager, I requested that she correct her language, explaining that we were frustrated--not angry--due to the failure to have the order ready at the promised time. The manager then attributed the issue to incorrect order timing or date information but declined to accept responsibility or offer a meaningful apology. Furthermore, the manager's detailed explanation of coffee preparation was unwelcome; as a paying customer, I expect to receive the items I purchased without unnecessary commentary. The coffee we eventually received was delivered in wet boxes with difficult-to-open spouts, further compounding our disappointment. To make matters worse, upon arrival at the church, we found that packaging was mislabeled, requiring us to open every wrapper to confirm the contents, causing significant inconvenience during the event. This experience was not only disappointing but also unacceptable for an establishment of McDonald's stature. It has caused me to decide against returning to this particular location in the future. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I encourage your team to review their procedures to prevent similar issues from recurring. Pat read more

If it could give it 0 stars I would awful service every kiosk was broken they didn't acknowledge us at the front counter only 3 other people in the store all waiting in line. when they didn't serve us we tried ordering online and the app took our money and we never got our food. Just miserable. read more

Served me a raw big arch tonight. Tried to call but phone is off the hook.i ate a quarter of it before realizing it.

I genuinely don't think this location could get an order right if their life depended on it.

Wrong orders all the time. Has a huge glare in the morning and you are unable to see the screen, but the staff is nice read more

The slowest Mc Donald's on earth. Needs to make some changes. It's been like this for years :/

the large fry was only filled a third of the way all the food is always slapped together like nobody knows what they're doing, working in fast food you should understand the lay out of your sandwich not throw extra things or nothing at all on when your unsure. this store is sad and ran down, it was beautiful when josh was the gm and before it was rebuilt the food and service were great. read more

Would post lower if possible. This place deserves a negative 5. Awful service. This morning was the 2nd time in the past 5 days I stopped in to go through the drive-thru quickly, and continue on into work. This morning was also the 2nd time in the past 5 days NO ONE was operating one of the OPEN drive-thru lanes. Last Thursday I was able to just pull out and leave, as I was in the outside lane. This morning, assuming the inside lane would be the most likely one manned, if indeed only one was manned, I pulled in behind the person at the speaker, and quickly after I pulled in someone pulled in behind me. The guy at the speaker said "Hello" at least 40 times in the 15 mins we sat there, with no answer. Once the person in front of me gave up, and pulled ahead to talk to someone at the window, I went and tried to go inside to talk to someone, only to find... NO ONE. I sat at the counter for another 5 mins waiting for someone to come out to talk to them about the drive-thru issues, and place an order. I spent over 20 mins at this location, and NEVER spoke to anyone. Worst Fast Food experience I have ever had. read more

They were super rude to me and my father because he told one of the workers they got ONE thing wrong and it was just his drinks and the worker told him to leave and now we are "banned" untill managers review what happend read more

One tired, overworked woman working the front inside the restaurant. Messed up the order had to go back. She forgot the tea. Which by the way there's a 30 sent up charge for the tea which I've never heard of. And if you need a napkin or a ketchup or any condiment, there are none. And you won't get one at the front because the lady is too busy waiting on other people. What a shit McDonald's this place is no wonder reviews turned off on Google reviews read more

First off, I never give a 5 star review because I feel there is always room for improvement. I just want to give kudos to Lillington McDonald's. My order was incorrect and I took it back in. I didn't pay attention when placing the order in the app and entered it wrong and they fixed it at no charge which they didn't have to. Yes, they have gotten past orders wrong. Yes, I have had to wait longer than I would have liked but most of the time they try to make it right. read more

The purposeful disrespect for curbside orders is ridiculous. If you go through the drive-thru and give them your code you'll get your food right then. If you sit and wait in a numbered spot it could take as long as 45 minutes. The management here is lacking big time. This is the last time I make this mistake. read more

If you like your McDonald's quarter pounder still mooing after paying $4.99 for just the burger then have fun. Zero stars if they had that available. read more

McDonald's - I wonder why there's no line during rush hour. - Fast Food Near Me - Lillington, North Carolina

Ordered food here three times. Each time fries filled only 1/2 way. I ask for no salt otherwise the fries tend to be cold and stale. No salt means they have to make them right away. read more

Twice i visited here in a week. Twice they got my order wrong and were missing fries the first time, second time was the wrong sandwich. Waited over 20 mins in a drive through for food. The Big Mac is no longer big should be renamed the Mac!!!. Poor service and can't get orders right. Guess I need to find a new burger joint. read more

Waited 20 minutes with a crying 2 year old in the truck for a small hot latte for my wife. Got home to give it to her and it's a black coffee... I don't expect a lot from fast food but if you make me wait that long for something so simple at least get it right lol. read more

This place is a train wreck. A few days ago, we were asked to pull forward to wait. Sixteen minutes later, we went inside to find out why the food wasn't brought out. They had given it to someone else. After waiting another ten minutes, the order was wrong. Again today, we were handed someone else's food and had to go back around in line for our order, then told to pull forward and wait again. This time was thirteen minutes. Fast food workers want $20 an hour??? Wow. Just wow. read more

Worst service ever. The staff was too busy complaining about customers and complaints to work on what they are doing wrong. They don't care about the people that are the reason for them having a job. They were huddled behind the counter in a large group clamering on like a bunch of grade schooler . This was a local mcdonalds that won't be getting our service again read more

I ordered my food at 9:45 and got to the restaurant at 10, I had a prior commitment at 11 AM thinking I could stop by for a biscuit meal. HELL NO, I waited for 35 minutes and the people in there waiting as well had been there for 40+ minutes. They had one person working on our orders and I understand understaffed but damn, never again. Worse part is I paid in the app and couldn't cancel the order. this is sad bc i love mcdonalds. read more

The restaurant was clean and efficient. We used both the mobile app and the kiosk and the process was simple. The new kiosk is great concept and it seemed to allow workers to focus on food and serving customers. There was a single cashier, we did not interact with that employee. The quality of food was good only complaint was a tremendous amount of salt on fries. read more

very rude and arrogant manager store closed early even though we did online order wouldn't even talk to us and shut the door in our face very rude to me. If it wasn't the only McDonald's in town I would never come here again. read more

Hostile employees. Cold fries at 11:15am, the start of lunch hour. Maybe they were mad I forgot my app code at the drive thru, I had a long morning driving nauseous in the heat. I was grateful the first girl at least tried. At the 2nd window, I asked for a cup of ice since it was so hot, and I totally would've been willing to pay for it but she didn't want to hear a word out of my mouth. Not even my "thank you so much! I really appreciate it!" She said "this one's free, next ones 32 cent" sharp and shut the window. Yikes. I got home and thought maybe they were mad my receipt had 2 buffalo sauce and 2 sweet and sour? I just couldn't figure out why they were so frustrated. I didn't even ask for it that way, I just wanted one of each for my nuggets. I think the girl who took my order was new or flustered. I know food industry is high pressure environment and not everyone is nice, but why be rude to the ones who are? What happened to customer service? I was really grateful to just be getting anything after a rough morning, and I actually love McDonalds. I thought of it like a treat because I was too exhausted to cook, and it would be quick! Anyone else who thinks "don't go to McDonalds" should be ashamed that such a capital has turned into a "last resort" place. Finally, I got to eat ice cold fries and lukewarm nuggets for lunch. Yum. I don't even blame the employees, I think this comes down to poor leadership and management. Treat your employees the way you want them to treat your customers. Don't hire sour management. Kindness goes a LONG way. Shame. Please do better I loved McDonalds :( read more

This review is a little overdue... A while back, I came in your store and was given exceptional service by a young man named Drevion. He was polite, courteous, and gave exceptional and professional customer service. I wish I had left this review earlier, I'm not sure if he still works at your store, but either way, this was a 5-star experience far above any McDonalds I had been to in the past. Other experiences at this store have been top-notch as well, but this one stuck out as one to offer a review. Thank you! read more

I feel so guilty for coming here lmao But they are always there when I'm on the go. When I'm in uniform they'll give me a discount. Didn't even know McDonalds did that. lol I appreciated it nonetheless. Fast and easy. Can't remember a time they got my order wrong either. Unlike other McDonald's. So I have to show some love where love is due haha read more

This place is an actual danger to people's safety. My wife and I go befor church to get a coffee and there is always a 18 wheeler blocking one drive through line for delivery, which is fine. The problem is there is no order for the line because people decide to cut through the parking lot or jump line however they can which caused us to almost be hit by another truck. I called the store and they are not willing to even hear my side of the story or even give me someone's information I can contact about this danger. I mean how hard is it to put some cones out at least! This isn't the first time we have had close encounters at this location. If you want your family to feel safe don't go to this store. Managers will not help you employees lack a sense of urgency to get your food for you. This McDonald's is a terrible place. I don't recommend it to anyone unless you want you or your family to be in danger. I'm pretty sure that my family is not the only ones who have experienced this. Again, I do not recommend this place to anyone. Drive a few extra miles and keep your family safe, and probably get better food and service! read more

The worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Been here 50+ times since it's right down the road from my house, and every time I say I will never go back. Cold food, no pride in their work, long waits in drive through. This time maybe I'll follow my own advice and never go back. What a shame. read more

Tried to get 2 egg mcmuffins through the drive thru. Literally sat in line for at least 15 minutes. The line moved a couple cars then literally stopped. Worst service ever experienced! I have a no pull up policy but for some reason I did today. BIG MISTAKE!!! After I watched countless cars in the drive thru get service, along with other cars who pulled up get service, I walked up to the drive thru window to inquire about my food. They basically gave it to someone else! I asked for a refund & expected a quick turn around. NOT! They asked me to move out of the drive thru so they could serve the cars in line... I refused & stood at the window... after all they just needed to get my refund, right? They finally came to the window with my refund & offered me my food!! I DIDNT WANT THEM TO REMAKE MY ORDER... I REQUESTED A REFUND! They can't hear! I will not go here again... ever... and I will deter anyone I talk to from visiting this dump. read more

When by and order two salads and a unsweetened tea. Received our order, and got a sweet tea. Strike one. I started to eat my salad and found a chicken bone in the salad. I sent corporate an email, with a response that this McDonald's would be in contact with me. As of today no response. I just wanted to let them know about this issue. Not wanting anything. But since they dont feel the need to contact a customer I had to write this review and warn other customers to be careful of bones in there chicken. I will not visit this location again, just because of.the poor customer service. read more

Not so friendly greetings when you enter and order - coffee was wrong - not sure how long it takes to teach people how to wipe down tables with sanitizers but based on the coffee being made incorrectly and the crappy attitudes I'm not surprised that the dinning room is still closed - I'll just go street crossing to bojangles where I will be greeted with a smile and can sit down to enjoy the food read more

The people are very friendly. The service is very very very slowwwww. Took more than 30 mins from entry to exit for a take out order. Food was good, except for fries. They were darker than normal and more greasy. ( bummer cause I love MD fries). Won't make the mistake of stopping here again. read more
