Upon arriving at the restaurant at 8:30 AM to pick up my order, I was initially greeted politely by one of your team members. However, the situation quickly deteriorated when I was informed that no order was on file under the church's name, despite my prior payment and confirmation. The team member could not find any record, and it took considerable time for this to be addressed. Throughout the ordeal, I faced continuous delays and excuses regarding the preparation of the order. At 8:53 AM, only part of the order was handed over, but it was clear that important items--including coffee and condiments--were missing. When I pointed this out, the team member expressed surprise, indicating that they were unaware such items had been included. During this time, I noticed other customers leaving in frustration due to similar problems with order accuracy and wait times. Despite these evident issues, the manager failed to step in promptly to provide any form of service recovery. Instead, I overheard the manager describing me as an "angry customer" to staff members, an inaccurate characterization given that neither I nor my companion raised our voices or behaved disrespectfully. When I addressed this with the manager, I requested that she correct her language, explaining that we were frustrated--not angry--due to the failure to have the order ready at the promised time. The manager then attributed the issue to incorrect order timing or date information but declined to accept responsibility or offer a meaningful apology. Furthermore, the manager's detailed explanation of coffee preparation was unwelcome; as a paying customer, I expect to receive the items I purchased without unnecessary commentary. The coffee we eventually received was delivered in wet boxes with difficult-to-open spouts, further compounding our disappointment. To make matters worse, upon arrival at the church, we found that packaging was mislabeled, requiring us to open every wrapper to confirm the contents, causing significant inconvenience during the event. This experience was not only disappointing but also unacceptable for an establishment of McDonald's stature. It has caused me to decide against returning to this particular location in the future. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I encourage your team to review their procedures to prevent similar issues from recurring. Pat
