Made an online order and it was done when they said it would be. I got a small deluxe pizza and it was really good. Probably one of the best I've had in a while. The cheese was thick and delicious. Perfect amount of all the veggies and meat! Ham was little cubes which I loved. Ate half for dinner and half for lunch the next day. I'm only visiting this town but I would definitely go back if I end up here again. read more

The food has been excellent. Gyro was good, the chicken Parmesan sub was great, prices are insanely fair. I have been eating here all week. The owner is friendly and I'm not sure what is up with all the negative reviews. This is quite possibly the best restaurant in the town. Ex- Executive chef read more

Amazing service, super friendly owner!! Typical pizza/subs eatery, very cozy and good food

I come to Lillington on Fridays. If I have time I stop at Papas subs and pizza for a papas supreme sub. It is always awesome. The people who work there are so friendly and nice. I always leave with a smile and a great sub. read more

Fast, friendly, and fantastic pizza!! Staff was welcoming, affable, and served a perfect meal.

When you walk in the friendliest lady greets you. The cold subs are fresh and stuffed with meat. Reasonably priced! Please note they do not serve pork products so their bacon and ham are made from turkey. read more

Ordered takeout and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I got sauce on the side of the hot grilled chicken because of previous reviews and with the moist, soft chicken and peppers it really didn't need sauce. The gyro was nothing special and could've used more meat but overall I'd rather pay for this than subway anyday! read more

I stopped to get a sandwich and I noticed a huge Fly buzzing around the vegetables. The fly circled and stopped on the counter, the employees just worked through the sandwiches. I told the owner about it and he said "oh, don't worry, he doesn't eat much". I was so disgusted I said "forget it, and left the store. Never coming back here. read more

If I could give this restaurant a negative rating, I would. This was my first and last time ever visiting here. I ordered a sub sandwich to-go, and asked for light mayonnaise. When I got home, I opened up the sandwich and this is what I got. This is NOT light mayo; in fact, it is very heavy, sloppy mayo. I called the manager immediately and told him how the sub was NOT what I ordered and offered to take a picture of it to send it to him so he can see for himself. I asked him to replace the sub sandwich and he refused to saying, "The price of meat is going up so I am unable to give you another sandwich." He was actually yelling at me. Needless to say, I was out my sandwich and my money. Avoid this place at all costs. Starving is preferable to this place. read more

Ordered a Stramboli and when I got there the employee was eating her lunch and she took my ordered and started to make the Stramboli without washing her hands!. It grossed me out completely . Because also observing her eat she stuck her finger in her mouth to take a piece of food out. Plus she didn't use gloves. I definitely don't recommend this place read more

I am from the NY/NJ area and have to say I am a pizza snob. That being said I do give leeway to local shops knowing that not everyone can be a DeLorenzos or a Ray's. I ordered the 2, 1-topping, slice and soda lunch special or under 5 bucks which is typical back home and is a good deal. Good deal if the pizza didnt look like it just feel on the floor and was handed to you. My first hint should have been that they used a similar oven like Domino's and Papa John's, although I would not presume to insult either by comparing their product to Pappa's. Clue two should have been that no Paesan would spell Papa with two "p's". The crust was so soft it could barely hold the cheese. I bit in to it and it was like biting into slimy wet cardboard!!! I am a big guy and do not waste food, but this was the first time I was compelled to throw my lunch in the trash, and I so obliged!!! MAMA MIA!!!! read more

Stopped by for a sandwich on the way to Raven Rock. Food's good for the price and they have a huge selection of items from pizzas and subs, to pasta and French fries. read more

Ordered a large pepperoni for take out at around 6:30 PM. Was done in 20 mins like they said. Their large isn't very big, but it was only ~$9.50 after tax. Pizza is nothing world-changing but is much better than Papa John's or Pizza Hut. Definitely recommend Papa's. read more

Haven't tried the pizza yet, but the subs are pretty low quality. I usually prefer these mom and pop (pun intended) sub shops to the chains like Subway, etc. This place was lacking, however. The meat in the sub was low quality, like the cheapest generic bulk meat you can get at the worst grocery store in town. Veggies were sub (pun intended again) par. I asked for pickle on my sub, and they just threw a pickle spear on top of the sub haha. Better than nothing I guess. Service was good and fast. I may come back to try the pizza but I'm staying away from the cold subs. Just do Subway if that's what you want. read more

Worst lasagna I have ever had!! Tons of cheese hardly any noodles or meat and it was swimming in some sort of greasy water liquid. Ehhh! Husband had the meatball sub and he could only eat half. On top of that it was hot in there. Our 2 year old son face was red by the time we left. Won't visit again. read more

Do not order a Philly cheesesteak from this store. We ordered a calzone and two Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. The calzone was great but the cheesesteak sandwiches had maybe, MAYBE an ounce of meat and some cheese on them! Nothing else. I did order one with steak and cheese only but there was barely any meat on it. The other I order normal and still it has barely any meat or cheese and nothing else! We called to talk to management and their answer is that's just how they do it. Almost 30 bucks for our dinner and this is the crap we got. We called to talk to them and they blew us off. read more

Disappointed! Ordered Greek salad boy was I disappointed...nothing but lettuce a couple scrawny tomato slices and the real topper was a little feta cheese and olives...I had to add to this pile of lettuce...paid for lettuce...won't be back read more

If I could give it less I would. We put a order in and when we went to pick it up, they said they didn't have our order. They clam we must of called a different store... Even though the lady behind the counter was like, yeah I remember that order. Worst experience ever. But I guess it's our fault if you ask them. Will never do business there again. Not sure how they stay in business. read more

Their garlic knots are bomb. Their catering service is great, especially for a big group of people. Very friendly.

It's okay but nothing special. Meatballs and garlic knots tasted a little burnt but I liked the sauce. I've only eaten here twice so it's hard to say if I think it's worth going there or not yet. read more

We enjoy ordering their delivery meat lovers pizza. Inexpensive, convenient, and delicious. Chefs salad and wings are good too.

We ordered a hand-tossed cheese pizza. What was delivered was a warm, not hot, pizza that was worse than cafeteria frozen pizza. Rather than order from Papa's grab a Digiorno. It will take less time and taste much better. read more

This joint may be under new ownership? Stopped by last week for the first time in a while and they've added several Mediterranean options to the menu like kebabs, Greek Salad and gyro. I am a local and the pastas used to be good, but for the last year or so, it is not eatable. The pasta is mushy, the sauce is awful, the ricotta cheese taste like it is spoiled. I had the opportunity to eat here on 6/30/16. The dinning area was nasty and the food was disgusting. The cashier was standing behind the counter digging in her nose, and putting her hand in her hair , she didn't have a hair net on . I called back to the store and asked to speak to the manager, the cashier refused to let me speak to anyone, asking me to tell her what was going on. I do not recommend this spot to anyone. Oh!
