Food service and prices are amazing I'd recommend and the trivia while I wait is always a plus!

Although Yelp shows it's closed, they are open for business. They do a lot of carryout business and the locals seem to love it. We've tried the pizza. Today sampling the hot subs. Tried calling twice and let it ring several times before someone finally answered. Hot sub, italian. Small is an excellent portion, 6-8". Hot sub, Club. Large is footlong. Both cut in half, their house made mustard vinaigrette is amazing Both were delicious. No sides. Chips would have been a nice touch. Didn't notice until I got them home. Take out calzone, baked ravioli, cheese pizza and it was great flavor with meat sauce and it was baked just right. It has flavor like a spicy sauce which you expect in southern cooking. It was good. Flavor was unique and enjoyable to eat. Lots of cheese and good portion size. There were no leftovers Dining area was clean, staff were friendly and it's a nice family restaurant with good service. I recommend this restaurant and it's in downtown Erwin and a locally owned restaurant so try it out. Much nicer than the chain restaurants. read more

We got the pizza egg rolls and the buffalo chicken pizza and this is by far the best pizza in the area!! The pizza egg rolls with hot marinara sauce were a perfect appetizer as well. Friendly staff, nice and clean shop at a fair price. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone who wants good pizza in the area. read more

Pizza is OK. Not horrible, but definitely not the best. The barbecue chicken pizza was decent but a little bit too sweet.

Very slow after lunch time. Waited over 45 minutes for food. Service very disorganized, unhappy staff.

The burgers are hand patted and cooked fresh. They came out with hot fries too. The unsweetened tea was great too!

Subs are my favorite, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Service is great despite every table being filled in the restaurant!

Back about 3 years ago I bought the last pizza from here that i would ever buy there. I can say that now the new owners of this pizza place has completely turn the food and service around. I have been very pleased with the food since they have taken over. If you have not tried this place at least give them a chance. read more

This is the only restaurant within a 50 mile radius of The Greater Dunn NC area to get authentic Greek and Italian food. The Chef/Owner does all the cooking himself and treats each meal like it is for him. His wife runs the restaurant treating each customer as though he/she were the only ones, but the place was near capacity at opening time and there were take out customers waiting to get in! It took two other waitresses to help her keep up but all three were attentive to our needs! Try the chicken souvlaki pita and the hot Italian grinder...both will satisfy your appetite. If you leave here hungry it's your own fault. Next time we will try different dishes from their large selection. Prices are reasonable and quantities are more than enough. Quality is well above 5 stars but 5 is the most we can give on this website. Our only complaint is that it is not closer to us up in Sampson County but we find the long round trip well worth it. read more

Honestly one is really being nice. I know being in the south your just not get going to great Italian food compared to up North where im from originally but come on now. The Calzone was good, the server was nice. The guy cooking has no business cooking. First the Calzone has the sauce on the side it was burnt, bad, she brought out a regular sauce it was ok but still slightly burnt. I got spinach and mushroom alfredo to go, and a salad. Let me say something to anyone that goes there DO NOT GET THE ALFREDO SAUCE, IT'S TASTELESS PASTE! NO SEASONING NO PARMESAN CHEESE WORST IVE EVER HAD. I don't normally make complaints of any kind and this is the first time I have ever written one online. I live by Spivey's Corner, which is a good 20+ miles from Erwin. My mother, who is ill, had her sisters and her oldest sister's husband over. They asked me to go to Pizza House to get a couple of pizzas ( I have been there a few times before and took them pizza). When I got back, they opened up the boxes and put slices on their plates. Immediately, my mother's sister, who is 74, noted there was a worm on her slice and she couldn't eat it. We looked at the other slices and found another. I took pictures and even took a video so you could see the worm moving. They told me to call Pizza House and tell them. I had no intentions of asking for my money back, I just wanted to let them know that they had an issue. There was 3 people working there, the owner, a woman who was the server, and a guy working in the back. When I called, the woman answered she told me she had cooked it herself and that I was lying. I told her obviously crawling worms would not survive the baking process, and asked her if she checked the boxes they put the pizza in. She again said I was lying and started cursing, and told me I was trying to get free pizza (we hadn't eaten the pizza and I had not asked for money). She also changed her story and said both her and the owner had made the pizza together. She started yelling at me and told me to bring the pizza back, with the worms. I told her I was not driving all the way back there tonight, but I took pictures and video of the worms (so you could see it was crawling). I asked her if the owner was still there and she said he was standing right next to her, but when I asked to speak to him, she replied that I couldn't because he was busy. My aunt, who is 75 years old, drove all the way over there to deliver the entire uneaten pizza with the worms they put in a jar. I got a call from her and she had went to the sheriff's department to have a deputy escort her into the restaurant. She showed the owner the jar with the worm in it, and he said there was no worm in the jar (there was). She asked if the woman working in there was the one who was so rude to me on the phone and he said she went home (that was a lie as well, she was still working). A couple that was eating in there overheard the conversation and got up and left. He refunded her for one of the pizzas but denied any wrong doing, even the way the girl who was so disrespectful over the phone. At the very least, common sense should have told him that nobody would drive a total of 80 miles back and forth to return a totally uneaten pizza. What is there to gain in that? In other words, why would we have lied about it if we hadn't eaten it, hadn't asked for money, and drove that far?? This establishment takes advantage of the fact they have no competition by overcharging for their menu items. $16 dollars for a large pizza I can get for half the price in other places is ridiculous for a run down place like this. I obviously will never go near this place again, and we will go to the county health department tomorrow to file a complaint. read more

I have seldom come across a restaurant that presents themselves so incompetent and unable to preform their jobs. Upon placing an order for delivery, I was greeted by an employee who seemed apathetic and utterly detached. After confirming the order and confirming that they would deliver to my university, I was given an ETA of 20-25 minutes. 50 minutes later I received phone call stating they couldn't locate the address, I then proceeded to give them directions to the best of my abilities. Still unable to locate the address, the unpleasant women on the phone asked if I could meet the driver at a gas station. After some hesitance I agreed to meet the driver. Shortly thereafter I arrived at the gas station, befuddled, at the sight of no pizza driver. I called the restaurant back only to be prompted with the following- "You said it would be too much of a hassle, so I cancelled the order and called the driver back." P.S: this is my first review on Yelp. I've never seen it befitting in the past to spend my time criticizing a restaurant until now. 1/10 wouldn't recommend read more

For a few weeks we've talked about patronizing a local pizza shop so we found a little place in a cute little town not far from where we lived. From first appearance you get the impression this place has been there for a few years, old pictures, décor, sign all gave it away. You never know about a little place like this, its hit or miss with the service, staff, and food. The interior is just what you would expect of an older establishment with good food. I'll just get to the point, the food was simply outstanding! Spinach and Supreme Calzone are about as good as my wife and I've ever had anywhere, the manicotti set really good too. The wait staff was friendly but not willing to take responsibility for much more than delivering the food to the table. I give the food 5 stars, I will be back for more, the staff gets 3 stars; quit complaining about the cooks screwing up the order. I wish they sold at least one or two different types of beers to enjoy with the food.. just sayin! They could easily charge more for the food, so 5 stars for the price! read more
