The people are unfriendly. The pedicure I got was done in about 15/20 minutes. The person giving me the pedicure just stood up and walked away when the pedicure was done without saying a word to me. I'm disappointed. This used to be my favorite place to go for a pedicure. Not always the chattiest but I prefer it that way. However, today I almost felt unwelcome. The place was empty, so you would think the tech would have taken her time and made it a nice experience. It felt like it was an express pedicure. It was probably 25 minutes from start to finish. I don't know if they are under new ownership. The service they are providing and the lack of customers is showing this "formula" is not working. This place is great! Their prices are pretty on par with other salons in the area and they do a great job. The employees are so nice. Louis did my nails and he was really funny and nice. I love the pedicure routine. It includes a leg scrub, lotion, warm rocks and a warm towel. The massage chairs are also great! This is a very enjoyable experience :) read more

To preface, I do not frequently get my nails done. I have pretty small hands and am pretty shaky because of my anxiety disorder, so I'm not really the best client. I went to get short acrylic nails with a design and a pedicure. They were able to take me right away. Not one technician tried to have a conversation with me more than just "hi how are you". Multiple people commented on how shaky my hands were, one even saying "can you at least try to stay still". The same woman who said that to me had another person finish my pedicure. She stormed away as though I was purposely trying to make her life hard by shaking. She said something to the coworker in (what I'm assuming is) Vietnamese and all three people were staring at my feet, pretty obviously talking about me. when getting the nail art on my acrylics a man who worked there came up and asked what the design was. when i said it was a starfish he laughed like i was some idiot and then walked away. Overall I do not plan on returning as the cost came out to $140 and I was very disappointed with my experience. Would not recommend. read more

You will need to read that 1st to understand)) Thursday 10/11/18 they open at 10:00am but I got there at 9:45 and without hesitation they welcomed me in! I explained to the technician what I wanted done, showed her a photo as reference & she did EXACTLY what I requested. Nail tech Didi (sorry if I misspelled) was pleasant, very clean, and a boss at her craft! And by the way, she cleaned my cuticles and under my nails unlike the other place. When I told her about being turned away @ Crystal Nails, she explained that sadly many nail techs are not up to speed with latest nail styles and are not trained in those techniques. I highly recommend this place for WHATEVER you need. If you want a simple manicure or something a bit more fancy don't go anywhere else but here!! read more

Came here with my mother in law and my sister in law. Made the appointment for us at 11:45. They took them right away (they were only getting pedicures and I was getting a liquid gel refill) I'm currently still sitting waiting at 1pm to be taken back my mother in law is done and my sister in law is just about done. Love my nails and did everything i asked from making them thinner to helping me pick a better color. My only 2 problems were that she switched polish after painting 3 fingers and didn't remove the previous color and my finger got a little cut and was bleeding. My sister and I were looking for a spot for a gel manicure. Regarding the experience, I had a young woman who had a very pleasant demeanor. My nails came out just okay, and I have attached that picture for your convenience. It was $25. My sister, on the other hand, also had a gel manicure by the owner. He was rude, dismissive, and cheap. Because my sister asked for sparky polish on every finger, he charged her $30. He tried pulling the same stunt on me, but I balked back and he charged me $25. I only had four nails with sparkle gel. Also absurd to charge $5 more for an overcoat. Loved coming here back in the day, but this salon has gone downhill. We will not be back. read more

I don't usually write a reviews when a place is bad but this one was the worst nail salon I have EVER been to! (If there were negative stars I would have done a -5) I went in and asked if the did Gel Pedicures. First they looked at me like I had 12 heads, then one of the woman said yes. (At that point I should have left) Fast forward to the end of the pedicure. The woman who did my nails didn't use the gel base coat so before I left the salon all the color was able to be pealed off of my toes. She also didn't even massage at all! Once I had peeled all the polish off the one who seemed to be the manager said can I put regular polish on? I said I am done here. I let them know that I would never be back. The place looked nice enough but looks are VERY deceiving! I wouldn't recommend this salon for even my worst enemies. read more

I am extremely disappointed with this salon and will not be going back. The nail tech I worked with was great -- she was personable, talented and always did a great job. The owner of the salon, however, needs a refresher course in customer service. Last week, I got a gel manicure. Two days later, it started chipping. Two days after that, polish peeled off from one nail. Today I went to the salon - seven days after my gel manicure -- with polish on only six of my nails. I asked for the polish to be removed, my nails trimmed and my cuticles trimmed a bit. They only removed the polish, then charged me for a manicure that I did not receive. Essentially, they charged me $10 to remove polish from six nails after I paid $25 seven days ago for a poor manicure. The owner said that was how they did it and he went back to his customer. I would give zero stars if that were possible. These salons are a dime a dozen. They can rip off everyone else. I'll go someplace else. read more

I have bern going here for 5 years and lived the staff and quality of work. I hadn't been for almost a month, and it seems that they have changed owners or something. Almost no one there, usual owner nor there, no one from staff I know was there, and only 2 people working. Apparently, their UV lights were not working, so nails came out flat and muddy looking. After 3 coats and about 1-1/2 hours, the new guy took over, put on more top coat and used his UV lights. They came out fine, but 2 hours is a long time to get a gel manicure. I may walk in in a week or so to see if anyone from the previous staff is there. If not, I will look for another salon. read more

Decided to give another nail salon near work a try. What a huge mistake. They cut my skin and made me bleed while clipping the skin around my nails. This is extremely worrisome because of blood born pathogens and a dirty shop. Who knows how well they clean their tools? Owner is flat out rude and knows nothing about customer service and how it affects business. Definitely do not recommend and i will not be returning! Word of mouth spreads quickly. read more

Got a gel manicure here and it was very disappointing. Maybe it was because the nail technician was younger but while cutting my cuticles she cut my skin pretty bad to the point where i was bleeding the entire time i was there. She didn't apologize or anything, just told me to go wash my hands. Beyond that, the manicure was not even nice. My nails were unevenly cut and the gel was uneven where it was thick in some spots and thin in other spots. read more

I was visiting family in NJ so my SIL and I came in to get our nails done. I had a great experience! I got a gel pedicure that looks great. My SIL got gel mani and pedi. My SIL comes here every 2 weeks for a pedi and gel nails and she couldn't stop raving about it! It was very clean and everyone was very nice. However, the new owner of this salon is horrible....he is very rude, snappy, makes sarcastic comments, and refers to customers as "hey you." I have been going to this salon over 13 years. Recently it changed owners & more than 3/4 of the staff left. (Thi, Lisa & Didi, not to mention prior owner Tom who was awesome not only as a business owner but as a technician....all gone) Still trying to stay optimistic, I have been back there 3 times since the ownership change. On those 3 occasions, there were only 2 people working in the whole place, The older woman who was there did not even greet me or talk to me, no smile & turned her back when I came in & stood at the counter. All the pedicure chairs were open, 3/4 of the nail stations were open, no one was waiting all 3 times at various times of day! FINALLY, the piped in Oriental music has got to GO! The same "continuous loop" of music over & over while there, was my final straw! The over all atmosphere has changed so much that I just can not take it anymore. I honestly do not see this place staying in business much longer unless they are more "up to date" with the times. After 13 years....I am going elsewhere.
