This is the best nail salon! I love their massages and only go here for my nails and pedicures.

I was there at the same time as the woman who commented previously. I had a feeling her visit might result in a negative review and wanted to counterbalance that. From my perspective, her depiction is not accurate regarding tone or timing. However, I was not fully paying attention so I could have missed something, maybe the tech was having an off day. I'll stop short of saying that review is inaccurate but at least want to balance it out with what my experience has been! I've been coming to pink for several years. Several other family members come as well. I sometimes travel from Philly to have my nails done here. I've never had a bad service. Their regular pedicures are solid and efficient. I do think they are generous about giving more time when they can (if they're slow) but I'm usually there when people are waiting and even then the basic pedicure is good. They even took time to be thoughtful and patient when my 5-year-old nephew came for spiderman colors on his toes and the whole salon was filled. If you want a more indulgent experience, their spa pedicures are really thorough, include a great extended massage, and lots of nice extras. I love the owner and have only ever been warmly received by every member of staff. They're really thoughtful about details like providing heated pillows for your lap and doing a little massage while your nails are drying. It is a small and busy shop and sometimes there are disruptions when other guests come in, the phone rings, or one of the other techs need something. That said, there's a reason they're busy and those reasons benefit everyone who goes there. I -for one- am always benefited by their willingness to answer the phone and fit me in so it doesn't bother me when they do the same for someone else. My friends and I went here for a birthday shindig. I've never had such a long/thorough pedicure. First, I selected a scent (green tea, lavender, or mint) and the basin is filled with warm water and a scented gel. That gel is rubbed along your legs and feet and rinsed off. Scented (epsom?) salt follows. A leg massage, hot towel treatment, and hot stone massage follow before your toenails are painted. (My callouses were bad, so I also had a callous treatment.) Midway through my pedicure, I decided to get a manicure too. Both mani/pedi were standard (non-gel) polish. The manicure was followed by a hot stone back massage (while my nails dried). I had been searching for a new nail salon for a few months now. I've been looking in Philadelphia and South Jersey. I live in philadelphia, but found the salons by me are very pricy and they quality of service is lacking, so I've been looking in South Jersey. I came across Pink Nails by searching for nail salons by my chiropractor. I'm so happy I have them a shot. Today was my second visit and both were pleasant. Initially, I got a pedicure and manicure. This salon gives you a heated pillow for your back while getting your nails/toes done! They also massage your back and shoulder with hot stones. This was not an ADD ON, just part of their wonderful service. Today I decided to get gel nails and Nancy did a quick and beautiful job. They take walk-ins, which is very important to me. Their prices are reasonable, my gel manicure was $32. They have a variety of music genres that cycle, but it's all enjoyable music. I am really relieved that I found a new salon that meets all my expectations. They make you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. They also have a loyalty card, which will allow you a discount after your 10th visit. Parking is sufficient and they are located right off of Route 73 in a small shopping center in West Berlin. I had a Rude and Rushed experience I pink nails where I was coming occasionally. I had got a pedicure done from the one of two ladies present there , not sure of the Mexican ladies name , she rushed me into a hurried pedicure just because another customer came in and she wanted to do her services!! While taking off nail polish she left some to which I asked her and she madly said I know I am not done yet!!!I have to take other customers ! before leaving I mentioned I am not happy about the way I was rushed ,in reply to it she put a finger on her lips !!! and shhushed me !! Jenny shouldn't be allowed to do anyones nails over the age of 5. Not only did she make me bleed several times but didn't even understand what I wanted done. I went there for a pedicure and gel manicure. It was my first time and the reviews was what enticed me. I loved loved Young, who did my pedicure. She was very friendly and has a very positive attitude. She took her time with my pedicure and was very thorough with the massaging (which was the best part). Unfortunately Young didn't do my manicure. I had a gel manicure that needed to be soaked off. The owner did my nails. She first scraped my nails with the cuticle pusher, but when it wasn't coming off fast enough, she used the drill. I was really worried as I didn't want my nails to be thin. But I just let her do her thing. I'm usually not picky so when she was working on my nails I didn't watch what she was doing until I realized after close examination she didn't fully take the old gel polish off. Not only that, the polish didn't go on smoothly, there's are noticeable bumps on my nail bed and the sides of my nails weren't even fully covered. I am so disappointed. I love Young, but I don't know if I'll be going back due to my experience with my gel manicure. read more

I've been to this salon several times, today was the worst experience I ever had with them. Besides me not getting what I wanted, she forced me to get tips cause she couldn't understand what I wanted. All my nails were uneven, at that point I stopped her, cause when I asked her if she can do an ombré color pink/white she said they don't do that only solid colors. Soo long story short I left wit colorless nails and still had to pay $40. I'm so done with them! I don't even want to give them 1 star. read more

I have never been to snail salon that truly pampers their customers. The have a gel mani pedi for $45 or regular polish for $35. When you walk in they great you with smiles and are very welcoming unlike some nail salons I've been to. The give heated towels for your neck and back as you sit for your pedicure. Their pedicures are the best they really take their time massaging and perfecting your feet. They even use hot wax for a freshening peel on your heels. My pedicures take about an hour on average which I like. I've been to salons in the past that rush you so much and take a total of 20 minutes. The owner ensures that this is a relaxing experience for each customer. They also give a hot stone massage on your back as you wait for your nails to dry. Second time here today. My first time was really pleasant with the employees being super friendly and I got a mani pedi. Pedi was great it was done by odry, manicure was sub par & I didn't receive a massage or hand cap as other regular mani pedi customers did. However the place is clean and the employees were so pleasant I decided to make this my new go to spot for pedicures. Came back today for my second one. I don't think the employees knew I could understand what they were saying. I was a walk in and they were pleasant about it. However I asked if they had any special spa pedicures which most nail salons have. The employees at other salons usually try to upsell you to a spa as well. However I was met with looks as if I was crazy, they also initially said they had 2 different kinds of spa pedicures then changed it to a single special spa pedicure. They also stated that it would get "complicated" if I started picking and choosing in another langu I stayed for my pedicure because I was heading home anyways and my experience before was good regarding my pedi. Odry was my pedicurist again today and she did a good job again today, However regarding the spa pedicure incident and feeling as if my patronage is not appreciated I will not be returning. There are one too many nail salons in sj to put up with sub par service and basically staff trying to fly you out the door when you want a longer or upgraded service. read more

I came across this place in a pinch on my way to work. It's tucked away in a shopping plaza but was such a great find! The extra touches such as heated back Rey and at the end of your service a complimentary massage while you dry. Literally this tiny bit melted away stress. I got the gel mani and regular polish pedi for $45. I was put in the chair soaking my feet for about 45 minutes until they could just file my toes. Not cleaning the underneath of my nail or cutting the nails just files. With my gel manicure that came out lumpy, uneven nail filing and not completely covering some of my nails with the polish. Visited this location for gel mani/pedi prior to going out of town. Salon provided free additional services such as foot and hand paraffin; shoulder massages; and warmed pillow for neck which I found to be a pleasant surprise. Admittedly the pedicure was nicely done by a young girl. However, I observed that a person, who appeared to be the owner kept looking my way and talking, in her native language to another worker. I surmised that the discussion surrounded my polish choice (neutral) which they must not have had as a gel polish choice. I watched as owner "rambled on" as she mixed the polish to be utilized for my gel manicure. I even questioned owner, when in chair, about polish to which she just held it up to infer "I have it". Manicure was decent so I tipped generously based on the multiple services provided. Unfortunately, the gel polish turned a horrible putrid greenish color within 24 hours! I was forced to immediately find another salon and have nails re-done while in transit to California. Total cost for a gel manicure that weekend was $65 incl. tip! Okay so I've been here two times and I feel ready to review them. The first time I came here with a friend it was awesome. The women took their time on me and I felt like a priority. It was a great experience overall. The were so sweet and the atmosphere was great. My nails literally lasted about 4 weeks looking amazing. I found out a few weeks later that I was pregnant and therefore didn't go back to the salon. It's been about 9 months now and I decided to go get pampered for my baby shower. I walked in with about an hour and half before they closed. I was rushed and had 3 different women who worked on me and my nails look like complete crap. I did not show up to my baby shower feeling pretty at all. It's been a week since I've been there and my nails look like they're due already. I've been trying so hard to not pay attention to them but even my fiancé noticed how poor they looked. I spent $70 when all was said and done for a pedicure and acrylic on my real nails, no gel polish and I regret every single penny. I have each lady a $5 tip and they flew out the door and left me with the owner who was locking up. I waited as she cleaned up and then came over to clear coat my nails. They didn't cut my cuticles, the acrylic has been chipping and isn't even on my nails- they look wobbly. And the paint job was horrible. In the moment I was happy and excited to be pampered and the next day I really sat down and looked at them and was horrified. Unfortunately I haven't had time to go back or review as I've been getting everything baby ready but I'm sad to say I won't go back here ever again. read more

Worst experience ever. Went in for mani-pedi with my stepdaughter. She got a full set and a pedi. Somehow she had a pedi and a full set before my pedi was finished because people kept getting up walking away and helping other people. We had appointments. One nail was painted, vanished for 15 mins. Another nail, painted someone else's nails came back painted a nail answered the phone painted a nail helped other people painted a nail. Not relaxing. Nails look like shit and aren't even smooth. Totally overpriced and horrible experience. Absolutely will not go back, do not recommend, this was the worst nail salon experience of my life. I understand being short staffed this was well beyond that. Totally Rude. Didn't even get the complete service I paid for as not all my nails got a top coat, some are sticky, all were supposed to be gel, the polish isn't even smooth on top and full of ridges. Ugh. I tried this nail salon because my hairdresser had relocated to Berlin and the salon was right next to the hair salon. They were very friendly and I didn't wait at all to get a full set. I got acrylic nails with gel and my eyebrows waxed they did s great job. The total was $53 which to me is a bit much compared to others. They dipped my hands in the paraffin wax after the gel was applied and I think that's why my nails did not last. They were just popping off left and right. My nails usually last 2 sometimes 3 weeks. read more

This place is alright....inconstant when it comes to gel manicures. Sometimes they look good and other times they look bad. Also the staff seems to be kind of rude. One day a customer left $1 short of a 20% tip and the lady was very rude about it and gave the customer a stank face and didn't even say "thanks" or "bye". I came to get a gel manicure for a friend's wedding. The quality of my manicure was horrible, it was bumpy and uneven and sloppy. I asked them to fix one of the designs because it looked messy and it took an hour, and ended up looking even worse than it had to begin with. I paid $38 and it all peeled off within 3 days.
