A friend of mine recommended Sky Nails to me and I figured I'd give it a try. I am so glad I did! I have been going to Sky Nails for a couple of years now and don't plan to try anyone else. I never had a complaint on any of the women or the work. After some time, I decided to try dip powder and got Tracy. She has been my nail tech ever since. So now, I only go to Tracy to do my nails (pedicure/dip powder.. Recently did acrylic for a change) and she is great. She knows exactly how I like my nails and I book my appts directly with her. I called in the morning and was quickly set up for a haircut with Rob. He is AMAZING. He's basically a hair surgeon- he takes time to listen to everything you want and checks in constantly throughout the process to explain what he's doing and make sure you're happy and comfortable. He even showed me how to blow out my hair at home to get the same look. He's a gem and gave me the exact cut I wanted. He knew I was nervous after my bad hair cut and was so patient with me. Before the cut, I asked him about getting some color on some pesky grays I've been getting. He told me he specializes in haircuts but introduced me to Laura who suggested I do a demi-perm on the grays since I have so few. She picked the perfect color and was awesome! So I walked in not knowing what I was going to do or get and left with the best cut I've received in a while and much more confident than when I went in. To top it off, I couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were. It's a really nice Aveda Salon so I was expecting at least $100 for a glaze and hair cut. They charged me $49 for a dip powder that I left with brush streaks on my nails and on some sides looks like I don't even have color. You also have to purchase your own nail filing kit which I have never heard of. I get my nails done regularly at a higher end salon and I pay $40 for dip.
