This place may look questionable, small or odd for its location but is close to the college and it has a simple inside and a drive through. Me and my husband love our Chinese food and this place always give great portions and everything tastes amazing and their spring rolls are YUM. The menu is simple and gets the point across, me and my husband always drive up knowing what we want and the exact sauces we want as well. After the first time coming, it became so easy to come and go quickly. The service each time we come has been reasonable and the service as well, I've even tipped a few times. Yes, I did. Nothing fancy at all and I had my doubts about the place so I cautiously ordered the vegetable crispy rolls and veggie pad Thai. The veggie crispy roll seem to be the best I have had in a while. Sure, it tastes like how you'd expect it (bad), but the headaches... and insatiable thirst for water and death (due to the MSG) is enough to make me say that this is the worst restaurant I've ever experienced in my life. They were very neurotic about there being 6 shrimp on the picture but it was cheap crappy Chinese, so win. I went recently and it's basically $8 each plate and the FIVE shrimp were on the side of the container all segregated. The wonton soup had a single wonton (Ghostbusters style). It was good for a laugh but the taste has gone down (how is that possible?) and (like all things Denton) we'll see how it is in 6mos. You never know. I can say they all tasted fantastic! The price points are perfect for someone on a budget. The service was friendly and fast. Because of this we will be back again! But if you want quantity over quality (quality isn't bad but just not like a sit down Chinese restaurant) for the price that you pay, you can't be upset at all. Obviously it is American Chinese food but it's quick, a lot of food and hits the Chinese craving whenever you get one. I love the chicken fried rice, seasame chicken, and general Tsos chicken. The food isn't spicy at all (even if I ask for extra spicy) which sucks, but good for those who don't like spice. WHOAAA NELLY!!! We are from out of town and were in Denton for a cheer competition and ran here to grab a quick bite to eat. We went through the drive-through &the girl who took our order was very impatient &kept rushing us. We were ordering multiple meals and after each thing we ordered she would cut us off and ask 'is that all?'.... We get to the window, get our food and as we are driving off I am checking it to make sure it was correct because she was in such a rush to repeat our order back to us we couldn't even understand it. She flipped through receipts (side note: we never even received our receipt) And told me that we did not order an eggroll. When clearly I know we did. We were in a hurry so I wasn't going to make a big deal. I got back in the car and my husband showed me that they'd given us some type of soup That we did not order... we go back through the drive-through and give it back to her and told her we did not order this. She replied "yes y'all did, this is egg drop soup" (w/e that nasty stuff is!) So I assume egg drop soup and eggroll got confused. Which is understandable... Now if she would have slowed down the first time and actually listen to our order, she would have heard it the first time and if she would not have read it back like an auctioneer, we would have caught it as well.
