This is a pretty decent place. My esthetician Kylee was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I have suffered with adult acne for quite some time due to hormones and stress. This place is kind of hard to find. It's located in the penthouse office in Bayou on the Bend on Memorial. You can park in the future residents parking or in the few spots that are in front of the gates. The facial included a head, neck, and shoulder massage. One of the lotions stings a little but it is bearable. The extraction hurts a little as well but the rest was worth it. My face felt so smooth afterwards! I encountered a good deal of traffic on my way to the spa and made it just in time, but I had to fill out the in-take form and change, so technically that made me "late" for my appointment. Stay away! Worst customer service ever! I went in for a lash lift and tint. I've had it done many times before at home and at Chic Lash Boutique. This place said the eyelash perm would last 2 months. I was unhappy with it as soon as I saw myself in the mirror. I voiced my concern and told the tech and the receptionist about how I was not happy. I asked for my money back or for a complimentary re-do using a tighter curl. The receptionist said she had to speak to the owner/manager who basically said there's nothing that can be done and REFUSED to amend the situation even after I told them how unhappy I was with the results. Please go anywhere else but here. They don't care about customers and only want your money. If you need a lash perm, I recommend Chic Lash Boutique! I will be going there asap to fix this situation and I regret going to this place because trying something new isn't always the best, especially not this time. The place also seemed dirty. The toilet was not working and was dirty, nobody flushed since they didn't have water in the facility. There was no sign on the door and it was disgusting. I would give zero stars if I could because I've never heard of a place to not try and amend a situation especially when the eyelashes were straight after the "perm" and you blame it on not using a tighter curl, yet they want you to come back next time and request to use a tighter curl. The tech should have the knowledge or should at least ask more questions to ensure their customers are happy. read more

I would say that Kylee her specialty is facial massages. This part I really really enjoyed! Compared to what I'm used when going to a Spa in Europe I was missing some services. For me the relaxing part (pampering) is an essential part of going to a spa as I don't have skin problems. Here I felt more the rush and having a facial in 50 minutes felt just strange. Maybe this is the American style, though I really prefer to 'awake' quietly with e.g. a hot tea. As well I missed the explanation what Kylee was doing during the facial. Did I get a mask...what kind of cremes did she use when? I like the quietness so I can really relax though just telling what is going on feels for me helpful. I usually go to EWC for my waxing needs, but on a whim, I bought a Groupon for a $35 Brazilian wax from Organic Spa, which is on the top floor of the Bayou on the Bend apartment complex. Kylee was so fast that I didn't believe her when she told me I was done. The pain was minor and I'm more silky smooth than I've ever been. I came here somewhat on a whim. I kept hearing people about getting facials and came in on a Friday around lunchtime. It was nice, especially for a first experience. Kylee was friendly and patient. I liked that on the form you had to fill out when you got there, it asked how much you like to be informed what's happening / what the facialist is doing at all times. This way, if you must know step by step what's going on, she can keep you in the loop. But if you're there to relax, she won't be talking your ear off the whole time. And then, even after I filled out the form, she double checked with me again how much I wanted to relax versus be in the loop. I was hoping to walk out of here with a certain je ne sais quoi, but I just walked out plain. With a cleaner face, yes. With an unmistakable glow, doubtful. I didn't get any rave reviews or comments or anything from friends or family. This was quite disappointing because in preparation for my facial, I'd googled into this and so many people talked of the remarkable results and the glow they'd have and how much younger and refreshed they looked after. Fantastic spa! I went here while I was pregnant to treat myself to a facial. So worth it. My facial was relaxing and soothing to my skin. I loved how, because the spa is only one room, that I truly had undivided attention. I would note that the location is slightly inconvenient, being on the top floor of an apartment tower. Because my appointment was mid-day on a Saturday, by the time it was finished, I was locked in the building! I couldn't get out the front doors of the lobby because the front office of the apartment tower was closed for the rest of the day. I've been through my rounds of pubic hair removal. From laser to wax + strips to just wax to self-waxing... I've done it all. I've determined going to a salon/spa for a wax is the best option for me. When the Groupon came around, I figured I'd give it a try since there were positive reviews already. The option for a single wax was sold-out so I bought the 3-pack. Long story short, I won't be returning to fulfill the remainder of my waxes. Let's talk positives first: -- the confirmation text with logistics details is totally on-point. I really appreciate the very clear directions of where to park and where to go. (**Note that the elevator was flooded out on Memorial Day so be prepared to climb 7 flights of stairs!) -- thank goodness for online booking!! -- Kylee herself is cordial and efficient at removing your hair. The space itself pleasant and there's a nice dome you can look at while you're laying down for your treatment. The not so positive: If you are at all sensitive down there, especially if you're pregnant, do not come here to get a wax. The first time I got a wax here, I wasn't pregnant and it was fine. But, the 2nd wax.. WOWZA. It was like a blow torch was pointed at my crotch. I had warned Kylee that I was more sensitive down there because when you're pregnant, there's increased blood flow. I don't know how to translate that into beauty terms, but that's something I would expect an aesthetician to know. Granted, she did pause to ask if I was okay, but I pain was some sort of delayed reaction. I started a new job several months back, and with being on the road for training constantly--it took its toll out on my skin. I started breaking out with small bumps everywhere. I panicked and read up 20 different reviews before booking an appointment with Kylee. She saved my face. It wasn't all in one sitting. I knew my face will take a little time to heal, and for the bumps to vanish. She was patient, discussed the issues my skin was experiencing during the first visit. About the time of my second visit, I had previously began road biking more frequently. With the Houston heat and wearing my helmet for hours....Whooo! No no. Once again, she walked me through the session of Do's and Dont's to help my face while biking. My skin was in its best shape I've ever seen. This was definitely one of the better facials I've had and by far the most relaxing. I decided to go in for a facial a little over a week before my wedding. Kylee was friendly, informative but wasn't a chatty Cathy- which was perfect for me. We discussed which type of facial would work best and it really felt like she was listening, understanding and then making a recommendation. Most facials I've gone to, it feels like they know which one they want to recommend and almost force it on you. Also, the products she used all felt like they were great quality. As part of the massage she gave me a really fantastic face, neck, upperback massage. She's got magic hands or something because it was unbelieveably relaxing. This was definitely the best part of the facial. The only reason I dropped a point is that my skin flipped out a little after the facial. I was pretty red for a few days and broke out. Luckily I had time to recover before my wedding so it ended up not being a big deal. But I didn't get the wonderful, post-facial glow everyone mentioned.
