Food was absolutely fantastic, very attentive and kind service and romantic ambiance. We were greeted by all the whole team as we made our way to our table. We started with the Jerusalem bagel - it was so good we ordered another one. It comes with 3 sides - harissa, babaganoush and tzatziki and they were all amazing. Then we got the sashimi which was very fresh and delicious. For main we got the 18 layered Wagyu and the grilled branzino and a side of charred vegetables - they were all amazing. For dessert, we got the swirl. I can't wait to come back again!

The place is super cozy with an almost gatsby sexy vibes. But let's talk about the food: one of the most memorable medi food experiences ever! Every dish every bite was so well seasoned, so intentional with every ingredients on the dish. Every dish gets better and better as the night went by: more delicious, even more flavorful, leaving you excited for the next plate to come! Wonderful experience for my brother's bday dinner! The GM Dom suggestions are all spot on and his presence to say hello to my brother and the table was such a delight. Thank you for a great experience! I will definitely be back on my next trip to NY!!

From the Corner Store team, Or'esh is the best new restaurant to open in Soho in a long time. The Mediterranean/Israeli cuisine is well done and the service is excellent. The odd looking space that housed the old Principe has been beautifully redone.

The hardest reservation to get currently in the city! We got lucky through a friend, & had 15 minutes to get there, and boy were we excited! Absolutely worth the hype! Everything was excellent, delicious food. All was so savory so flavorful, we had the best experience. The service was so thorough, AS was the cohesion with all of the staff involved. Everyone was so thoughtful, so engaging, always checking in to see if we were enjoying everything, & we were! The decor & ambiance is absolutely stunning, the overall vibe is so fun, it was just buzzing! You could tell everybody was having the best time and everything flowed so beautifully. We cannot wait to go back! The best Mediterranean restaurant I've been to in a very long time!

Just Wow. Eugene Remm is a genius. We were fortunate enough to get a reservation here last night and we were speechless. The decor is absolutely beautiful and every attention to detail has been perfected. Additionally, the food is out of this world. We loved the big sliced tuna and the bagel. This is Eugene and team's third restaurant in a short time and his legend continues.

Or'esh is one of the best restaurants I've been to in years. I went last night with my family and we all left genuinely impressed -- the room is beautiful, warm and moody, the acoustics are surprisingly good, and the service was exactly what you want. The food is the real story though. Chef Nadav Greenberg is cooking live-fire Levantine in a way that feels both specific and confident -- the massive, exquisite cut of tuna to start, the Jerusalem bagel with dips, scallops in the shell, lamb chops, a charred greens dish that I'm still thinking about. I ordered the snapper, pan-seared simply in a little oil, no sauce -- and it was phenomenal. The family went for the branzino and salmon and both were great too. Everything that came out of that kitchen was either very good or exceptional, and nothing felt like it was there just to fill out the menu. Desserts held up too -- all worth ordering. It's a hard reservation right now, but it's hard for the right reasons. Go.

Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by the manager and other staff to make sure I was all settled for my party, which I really appreciated. This space has a partnership with a pizza place up the street to order food but also provides flexibility to bring in your own food which a lot of places do not allow. They also allowed me to bring balloons and cake which many places also don't allow. I had around 40 people and there was plenty of space to sit down or stand. It wasn't too loud so I was able to have a conversation with friends while also enjoying the music. The music was great and we even stayed afterwards to enjoy the DJ and the vibes were still strong. If you're looking for a private space, this is the perfect spot for your party! My friends are still talking about how cool this space was and were very impressed!

After opening a number of successful bars in New York City, including Death & Company and Cienfuegos, DeRossi decided to open a new bar with a focus on rare, new, and unusual craft beer offerings. Originally opening in the St. Marks section of the East Village, Proletariat quickly earned a reputation for being one of the best craft beer bars in NYC. In June 2022, Proletariat moved to a new, larger space just two blocks away on East 7th Street. In addition to the excellent beer selection, the new location also features a kitchen that offers an array of plant-based dining options. I recently visited Proletariat while I was in the Village to see a concert. I arrived a few hours before the show so I could grab some beers and bites beforehand. Proletariat has been on my NYC craft beer bucket list for a while; they have an excellent reputation. There were maybe four other customers there when I arrived; I felt like I was entering a secret craft beer club. I really liked the wolf featured on the bar's logo. It was clearly a reference to the Latin botanical term for hops: "humulus lupulus", which roughly translates as "the little wolf that comes from the Earth". There were 20 impressive beers on draught during my visit. I decided to order a pour of The Drowned Lands Brewery's "Winnow" (Festbier). It was an excellent example of the style: light and malty. Afterwards, I went with a pour of Sante Adairius Rustic Ales' "The Sky and the Sea" (Blueberry Saison). This was a fantastic beer: nice and tart with delicious notes of blueberries. If you're looking for some great craft beer bars in NYC then add Proletariat to your list!
