Both arrived damaged. They blamed Home Depot, Home Depot in San Diego blamed them. They are BOTH liars. Tried reaching out to them directly a few times, emails and call ignored. bought new front doors from them and had nothing but trouble. it was a 4 month wait for doors. when they finally arrived and installed by my contractor all the glass panes in one door were severely scratched . tried to get their trouble shooter here to determine what needed to be done but he NEVER responded to my many calls. had to finally get a manager from the store I bought them through and even he played hell trying to get the rep to respond. he finally facilitated a visit to my home . the trouble shooter said it wasn't their fault and when I responded to that by asking if he meant it was my problem to deal with he said one word ....yes I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!!! read more

DISAPPOINTING! I purchased pre hung front door for my house. Orepac team was friendly and helpful in the beginning when we ordered the door. I paid $6,612 for it and expected to get good quality and service. Although after the installation we saw a defect with the manufacturing. The door came with the frame ready ( pre hung) and after installation we noticed the door was warped. So far nothing special, its normal to have defects. We contacted Orepac team and they sent an " inspector " to check it out. He said it an issue with installation even though we showed him in person how the hinge is off and the installation was properly done since the frame is level and plumb. We didn't want to fix it ourselves so we can have the warranty but they didn't want to do the fix and give warranty anyway so we had to pay door installer to fix it. Long story short they might sell nice doors but they will not take responsibility for they products when they are damaged. I worked with many companies before and never had to beg for such a small fix. They are obviously don't care about their clients satisfaction. I will never buy another product from them again. I'll be happy to revise or remove this review if they will contact us and come up with a solution for the damages we had to pay to fix. read more

Ordered OrePac knotty alder doors through our local lumber yard. They arrived in total disarray leaning against each other, no temporary brace at the bottom of the jamb, door stop torn off several. The quality of workmanship was horrible. Reveals were not consistent, knots in jambs actually had complete holes with no resin to fill them, the edge of one door was missing a knot the size of a quarter. We bought a front door from these folks and to begin with, it came with the holes drilled in the wrong place. They sent another one and it was drilled on the right side of the door, but off center. It was getting to be winter, so we installed it. Within 6 months, it started falling apart. It took 4 months for a representative to come look at the door and by that time, the warranty had run out. Took another 2-3 months to hear if they would do anything at all. End result: a $300 gift card on a failed $3000 door with installation included. Complete failure as a company. Do not purchase any doors by this company. They will NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. If I could rate it less than one star, I would. read more

Orepac distributes Thermatru blinds-in-glass doors which I bought through a Bakersfield dealer. The doors have been a headache for 2 years now due to tearing and poor seals on the weather stripping and heat/cold transfer through the glass. Orepac's customer rep didn't handle the problem, and now it turns out the glass pack may not even be Thermatru and thus not warrantied by them. What an awful experience thus far. read more

Bought 7 fir 8509 doors from Orepac. The seals on all of the insulated glass leaked after one year. Since they are only warranted for a year they would not back their Chinese made doors. Worst company I have ever encountered as a contractor. Beware!!!! read more

similar problems in Ocean Park Washington. More excuses for bad workmanship. I bought 4 full light doors with 3 point door locks. Great idea but had a very bad experience. Do to gale force winds on the coast, we decided to use these doors because they were supposed to be the best. The doors have never closed properly and have had glass problems with wavey glass. They have replaced the glass with more wavey glass, and have sent a host of people out to tell me it is not their fault the doors are not good. They have blamed our contractor, us, and the distributor we bought them from. But have never taken responsibility for product. I specify products for the hospitality industry and residential market place. I will never use them again. read more

I ordered a french door set from OrePac through Home Depot. I had my contractor install it. After it was installed and painted, I discovered the at holes for the door knob and deadbolt did not align. On Nov. 2, 2018, I contacted OrePac and notified them of the problem. I did not hear from them for a week and asked them to respond to my problem on Nov. 8, 2018. They did respond after this message and sent someone out to the house to inspect it on Nov. 13, 2018. They promised to get back to me soon but again, I heard nothing and sent another message on Nov. 25, 2018. On Nov. 28 they said they would get back to me. I still had not heard from them by Dec. 7 and sent them another message. They responded the same day and said they would get back to me, but did not. I sent a message again on Dec. 12 and finally they said they would replace the panel on the door to align the holes for the knob and deadbolt. However, I would be responsible to get the door repainted. In addition to selling me a defective product, their customer service is very poor. read more

Don't buy an OREPAC door. I bought an OREPAC exterior exquisite door with sidelight. $$$ First they pushed out the delivery date due to glass being out-of-stock. Then they delivered the wrong configuration, sidelight on wrong side. My contractor had to take the newly installed door down. Then OREPAC sent the right configuration BUT the glass design in the sidelight does not match the door glass design. Currently waiting for resolution. It appears that their manufacturing staff can't read the orders correctly and no one checks the work. read more

Worst ever service and millwork ever. Do not deal with them! Omar is downright rude over the phone and sabotaged my order twice. The order was placed through Home Depot, which subcontracts it out to Orapac, so I didn't have a choice. Waiting over 3 months to get my custom door and they won't even talk to me or Home Depot people over the phone to fill my PAID FOR order. Refund time, and possible small-claims court! read more
