I have to say that the branch remodel is impressive-- it's sleek, modern and still has that "new car" smell (in a good way). The branch manager greeted me right away and the banker I worked with was professional, kind and efficient. I personally find this Chase (Washington Mutual) to be the best one in the area. The people are…read moresuper friendly and always helpful. When I needed to get my first money order, they were very helpful in explaining the process. When they first changed to Chase, they were very accommodating in helping me deposit my money into my California, Washington Mutual account (since it had not crossed over to Chase, yet). They had to forward the check to my bank in CA and then have them deposit it; no charge to me, just had to wait a couple more days which was fine. There was often a line when I walked in, but the line moved relatively fast, for a bank. The tellers were always nice and I started to recognize some of them--friendly faces. The other Chase bank on Willamette, did not feel as welcoming and friendly. I like this bank and when you have to go to the bank often, it's nice to go somewhere you like.

Mara was amazing she helped as much as she could and didn't everything she could she should be than manager of this place. I was verbally harassed by the security guard, talked down to and made fun of by him for my situation. Corbin the assistant manager was also extremely rude, and had TERRIBLE customer service he clearly did not want to help me the customer or care to even be for espy at the least. He came out didn't greet us didn't apologize and sternly said there's nothing he would do to help us. This branch is extremely inappropriate and I would never consider banking with chase again.

She gives me a payoff balance of $380,XXX.00 on a scribbled piece of paper. I said, no that's not right. She then scribbles out a zero and then hands it back to be $38,XXX.00 and says go to the teller and she will help you pay. No apology of acknowledgement of her mistake. Then in the teller line, the couple ahead of me was trying to get a cashiers check. We waited in line for at least 10 mins, the tellers were looking around all over and even ran outside looking. I asked what was going on and they said we can't find the manager and she needs to approve their transaction. After 15-20 mins she come trotting in from her "break" while everyone was waiting in line. I was pissed, and she also was rude to me, not very apologetic either. This was the treatment I got after paying my home loan after 15 years. I will never go back there for anything. The employees are rude, clueless, and incompetent.
