Run from these people. My first hot tub was under warranty, but the service tech refused to inspect the main light that wasn't working. He said, "Sometimes when you fix the little lights the big one fixes itself." I trusted him. I left town and when I returned he had only fixed the small lights; the big light was still out and by then the warranty had expired. I opened it up and found the circuit board damaged from a water leak -- something the tech should have noticed. That tub cost $24,000 last year and had multiple water leaks. I bought a new tub from Oregon Hot Tub in Bend last April. The other day I had to add water and discovered a drain cap with a pinhole. I called; the part is only $4.54. When I asked if the replacement would be covered under warranty, I was told no -- they would require a service call, which costs $89.00. There is absolutely no customer service. I would give zero stars to this company, if I could. Do not buy a hot tub or anything else from Oregon Hot Tub. And if you do, hope that it works. We purchased a $17,000 hot tub, had it placed by the company, and it leaked from the beginning. When they sent someone out to look at it, he had zero explanation and zero solutions. It's been 6 weeks since the faulty hot tub was installed, at least a dozen phone calls from us, and the manager Keely had been unhelpful, unavailable, and unresponsive. They bounced us to the manufacturer and they are unresponsive, as well. At this point we feel like we've been scammed, and Oregon Hot Tub has stolen our money. So here's the deal... the hot tubs themselves have a good rating. Isaac was also the person I dealt with. Good guy as long as you have his attention. I ordered a hot tub but at the end of the day, I didn't get what I ordered. The spa itself was correct but the options were incorrect. Delivery guys did not install the cover lift correctly. Thankfully I caught it before it came all apart and breaking something. I finished it myself. I brought this up to Isaac and never heard back. I guess the service after the sale is out the door. I have owned a few different hot tubs all different brands and I will say, this one is the best built so far after seeing the insides! At the end of the day, it works great. read more

I love my hot tub but if you don't live right in Bend you might want to reconsider this company. Apparently they feel that THEIR time is too valuable to answer the phone and YOUR time is so unimportant that you have nothing better to do than wait for them to call back (if they do) If you want to know IF they have a product in stock or you have a problem then you get to drive in from where ever and ask in person (in my case that an hour each way). If I had known how difficult it would be to get ahold of them I probably would have rethought buying there. read more

just now After owning my spa for a little over 18 months with light usage, it has already had to have the HEATER replaced. Since that work was done, it has stopped heating to set temperature of 103 and read at a constant !09 degrees, even though it was closer to 98 degrees. According to the service department, it might need new filters - so I went into the store and spent $200 on three new filters. I installed them as I have previously and now the tub runs for 10 seconds, then shuts down and reads "Protection Mode - be sure the filters are clean and unobstructed". I tried resetting it according to directions and the handset reads 115 degrees, then shuts off again in protection mode. They don't have a service person available for THREE WEEKS and just yesterday I was told in the store, "It's best to use your hot tub every day, it has a cumulative effect." That would be great - looking forward to it possibly working at the END OF SUMMER!!!! I spent about $13,000 on the Jetsetter. I wish I could return it for a refund and do business with a different store. This has been a very expensive mistake. ***PREVIOUS REVIEW BEFORE USAGE AND BREAK DOWN: ***IF ONLY SERVICE WAS AS EFFECTIVE AS SALES... Isaac was very thorough in the explanation of the different spas available and what options there were. Everything about this hot tub is great, except the horrible customer service ordeal we went through to get it going. We weren't able to schedule a time range for the technician to come to our house and for the delivery the man, who was suppose to come in the afternoon, showed up at 7am. We couldn't get the hot tub hooked up and filled on the first delivery and on the second visit the office still couldn't schedule a time range and we waited around all day for the visit. When the men arrived they were rude to my partner and left without even filling the hot tub. We ended up spending hours reading through the manual and setting it up ourselves. read more

Hired them to move the hot tub after moving into bend and start it up, clean it, and the service was mixed or bad. Took multiple times, lots of money, and did not clean it properly on start up. After at least $450, it was dirty on my first use and clearly had little attention to detail. Glad I did not sign up for their service as it would been easier to just hire some local guys and do it myself. They are quick to charge and have no follow up to see if they deliver a quality service. Just skip them and find someone else. Unfortunate to have a bad experience moving into Bend and getting the Hot Tub started. Well, better luck next time! Update: I got a call from Customer Service, providing apology, and refund to the service that was never completed, along with some coupons for future service. Where do I begin! What a fabulous experience we had when purchasing our new Hot Spring Spa! From start to finish Issac was amazing. He was able to explain all of our questions and took the time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted to meet the needs of our family. These folks really stand by their product. We bought our hot tub from Issac in Bend two years ago and had a couple of minor issues that were quickly remedied. Bobbie is a super Tech to work with in central Oregon and bends over backwards to service our unit. My wife and I moved to Bend from NY last Fall. We had tried to get a hot tub at our old house (built in the 20's) but would have needed an expensive power upgrade. We had been to this store a few times while we were researching a potential hot tub purchase. (Our neighbor, who researched hot tubs for a year and a half, bought a HotSpring Spa and loves it. So do her in-laws.) HotSpring tubs have a great reputation. Lilly, in the store, was very helpful in showing us the features of the different lines and models. We set our sights on a Highlife Jetsetter. We didn't decide until we met Andy at the Home Show at the Deschutes County Fairground. Andy was super knowledgeable about their products and explained how they were different and superior to most of the competition. He was able to give us killer pricing because of the fair, and that was enough to get us to commit. It didn't hurt that while we were talking to him, at least 5 other HotSpring owners stopped by and raved about their tubs. One gentleman currently has two and was looking to buy another for a third house he had just bought-- all in Oregon! Obviously this guy could buy whatever he wanted, so his opinion carried weight. We are currently waiting for the tub to arrive, having just extended our patio to accommodate it. Kelly came out to our place to assess our delivery requirements, and told us that he would be able to traverse downhill across the lot next to our house to get the tub in place without the added expense of a crane. The guy makes McGiver look like a Cub Scout in comparison. So we've had a great experience so far. Will update after the tub arrives. read more

We purchased a hot tub from Oregon hot tub because they kept telling us how great their service was and how quickly they respond for service calls. Well, it isn't great service or even good service. You can hardly get the service Dept. to return your calls. Once they do, they are so far out to schedule an appointment to your house that it's a joke. So sorry they don't have more than one tech to help, and thank goodness it's NOT been a cold cold winter or else we'd be looking at a frozen hot tub and likely beyond use. read more

Professional delivery and setup was included in purchase. Isaac came to our house on July 4 holiday!!!, day after installation to help us balance water and gave us instructions on use and maintenance. First of all, Isaac was our sales guy and he was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and it was pure efficiency. I think we walked in, picked up a tub, ordered it, financed it - all in about 30 minutes. Isaac was also very helpful in lining us up with an electrician and helping us to manage that. They even served us some good beer :-! Second of all, this is not my first Hot Springs tub. I purchased a brand new Hot Springs Vangard for our house in Lake Tahoe in 2004 and it still runs like a champ. I've had to replace a few jets here and there, the cover, and 1 pump motor. But other than draining/replacing the water and shutting it down for quick maintenance, the thing has been running flawless (and continuously) for 13 years. No joke - it runs all year long!!! OK...So this is my 2nd post about this company. At the risk of being redundant I want to share something with you. My wife and I were so impressed with the knowledge and passion that sales rep Andy Rhodes had for the HOT SPRINGS SPA we purchased from him that we returned and bought the amazing INFINITY massage chair afterwards. (And when I say we returned afterwards I mean we barely got back out to our truck in the parking lot when we made the decision to go back in and purchase the massage chair.) 3 minutes later. Seriously. That's how good this place is. Andy was so customer service oriented that he even gave us his personal cell phone number and encouraged us to call him AT HOME with any questions or problems. Ok, first of all, the only things that should get a 5 star Rating for this store are Issac Arroyo (the salesman) the delivery crew, and the tub. My wife and I came into the store while Issac was helping another couple purchasing the same hot tub that we were interested in, he tried many times to assure us that he would help us when he was finished helping the other couple when they were busy. We told him we were here to purchase a hot tub and take care of the other customer. Once they were finished, he came over to help us, he answered all our questions completely and offered up a lot of info that we hadn't thought of. We bought a tub from him and couldn't be happier with him and the delivery team which was great too. Well, her comes the sour part of this purchase, a person you will ultimately deal with: Trena J. Kirby-Woodruff. Also, good luck as well if you want to try to finance thru their bank. No matter, we did not finance and actually paid more than half of the purchase price upfront well before the tub was delivered, yet less than 2 1/2 hrs after the tub was set in place and I was having an electrician wire the power to the tub and fill the tub to see if it worked, both my wife and I received messages on our phones "reminding us that the tub had been delivered and payment was due". Interesting to know if management understands that their company had 6k of my money over a month before the tub was delivered and I get a message that made me wonder if a repo crew was going to show up, unplug, drain and remove my tub. I definitely get the impression that she has been speaking to customers like this since she was a gradeschool crossing guard that loved making kids/cars stop because she could. Time for you to go Trena, you soured my purchase badly, believe me. I will recommend Hotsprings Tubs in Bend, Issac Arroyo, (he's the man) and the delivery crew, you can't go wrong with them.
